1. Milwaukee was allowed to post. Read the rules. The posts/arguments CAN be consecutive. We started off with that set of rules, at least let's finish it. It's not my problem if you haven't read the rules.

2. Prince Charles: it's your, not you're (in regards to my idiotic comment).

3. Good debate guys, let's "shake hands" and be done with it. The judges may do their work.

EDIT: the reason why my post is inconsistent is because mid-way through I incorporated Varrah's ideas as well. I also didn't want to take the same plan as Drae did, for exploring-every-plan reasons.

Alright, alright, I've read through the posts made in this thread, and honestly, I can see where both parties are coming from.

First of all, I'd like to say that I do agree with Senko's point on how they should have been the ones to post last. After all, Turnt Up made the first post, so that much is only fair. However, I don't agree with their way of dealing with the matter by posting their counter when they were still the team that made the last post in the tourney. Instead of just posting without consulting anyone, you should have come me, or posted in this very thread stating your thoughts on the matter, which would have resulted in either an extension of the match, or the match being close, with both scenario's ending up with Senko being the ones to make the last post. However, I also get the view of Turnt Up, as Senko's premature post should simply not have been posted,

So, this is the way I see it..

• Both teams made two posts during the debate itself.
• Both teams posted one post after the time limit. (Senko's post will be treated as it was posted after PC's post, as it should have been posted then)

So, the simplest solution I see is that either only the two first posts of each team will be considered valid, or that PC's post will be considered valid and MH's post will not be, but, MH and the rest of Senko will be granted 24 hours to make a counter to Prince Charles' post, which will be counted as a valid part of the debate.

Either way, this will end with Senko making the last move, as Turnt Up made the first, that much is only fair. Personally, I don't care which way you guys choose, so I'll let you make this decision.

• All posts created after Anub's post will be considered invalid, with each team making two posts in the end.
• Prince Charles' post will be considered valid, giving MilwaukeegHost and the rest of Senko 24 to make one final post. (If they choose to, they can make MH's post be their third post.)

Our post was within the rules. If you're going to change the rules, please notify us. That rule was especially made for situations like this. PC would have posted his argument too late for us to counter within the time-frame set. Also, you mentioned there will be no extensions in the OP.

So in fact we were all following the rules. What I'm asking now is: are you changing the rules? If so, let us now prior to starting another round, because I was under the impression that I know my own set of rules and I (and my team) have acted accordingly.

(I don't feel that this rule is a particularly good one) The no extension comment was made before I realized just much of a clusterfuck this all would be, since frankly, this three days thing is clearly not working. (Which can be seen by the fact that there was a problem with time limits in every single match in this round) Either way, I, like many others apparently, was not aware of this rule, but since you were, it may be sign which shows that you should be handling this tournament. Either way, I'm done overseeing this, it's far too annoying, and frankly takes out all the fun of this tournament. You can resume your position or find someone else, either way, I'm out. .-.

I agree with you there. It DOES take out all the fun if you're "in charge". My original idea was for all the judges to be in charge, with me just providing the rules and guidelines. I think it should work best and no one is to blame. As for the rules, well... we should all read them if we're accepting to participate in this tourney ... if there's a problem with a rule, just mention it, like Blaze did in that same thread.

However, I intended to simply do the same, but yet, there are always going to be some problems that need to be solved and decisions that need to be made, and people will always look to the one posting the threads, and frankly, it's impossible to make a decision that everybody's happy with. ._.

6paths, I understand you. It was only days ago when I was the center of this blaming game. Best thing to do is point the to the rules and ask them to follow them. The rules SHOULD cover everything.

If there's problems with the rules, please mention them and we'll set new rules (this goes out to all the debaters, I'm not talking to 6paths here)... If you've not mentioned them, I will assume that you've READ, UNDERSTOOD and AGREED with the rules.

As far as this certain match-up goes, we ALL respected the rules. Milwa and PC's posts should count.

This is a formal tourney, you have to act like it.
In some tourney;s i have seen on other sites, you are not allowed to use words such as 'lol' 'lmao' and in prince charles case 'turnt up'. O_O You do get penalized.

Another huge problem is that i feel there needs to be a word limit, that should solve some of the problems that this tourney is facing. We have people creating 2000+ word post which not only takes forever to create, but also they will not upload it until every member of their team has read it.

A word limit of 1000, should solve some of this because firstly, posts can be created quicker. It stops the person from waffling and the person refuting this post (either an opposing team member or judge) to keep interested and not lose track. Also makes it faster for team members to read the post and give ideas.

EDIT: Just gave a rough number with the word limit, but i do feel a word limit should solve some problems
