Match up: Six Paths of Pain vs Team Gai (all 4)
Location: Konoha Crater
Restrictions: Lee can open up to 6 gates/ Gai can open all 8, Deva can't use his powers at first like vs naruto
Goal: To Kill
Mindset: In character but very angry due to Konoha being attacked
Info: Team Gai knows what they knew in the manga, Pain knows about their talents before from Kisame's battles with Gai's fights so far.
Distance: 15 Meters

You have 72 hours or a total of 6 posts (3 on each side) until the end of the debate. The countdown officially starts after the first argument. If one member posts 1 argument (equivalent to 1 post) he cannot post anymore in this match. If he does, his post will be ignored completely by the judges. I have a question on the Deva Path restriction.. Deva actually used his power (limited of course) against Kakashi, Choji etc. Actually he did it to completely devastate the village before he fought Naruto.

What I'm asking/saying is can Deva Path use the minorities (weaker versions) of Shinra Tensei, and Banshō Ten'in until he is alone? Meaning does the five second interval apply?

Nah, he cannot. Just like vs Naruto, he will be powerless for some amount of time. (The amount will have to be shown and discussed by the debaters) He did use his powers before, yes, but the time limit wasn't nearly as great because of the difference between the powers of his attacks there, and in the one he used to destroy Konoha. So to avoid confusion, he will not be able to use any of his powers for some amount of time, since if we'd allow it, it might cause confusion since we'd be contradicting the manga, where he was not shown to be able to use his powers at all, not even on a smaller scale.

It'd turn into an argument with nothing but empty hype supporting either side. There are too many unanswered questions concerning this technique, how long does it last, how much of a boost does he get, is the boost solely affecting his speed and strength, or does it affect his defense? There are too many unanswered questions here, and I don't see anyone putting up a good argument using a technique that is so unclear. It'd be like using Tobirama's S/T in an argument. We barely know anything about it yet.

I mean we've got a fodder shinobi, a copy-cat of Guy who's bringing nothing new to the table and a CQC specialist. No long ranged = no advantage.
