Ok NOW THAT WE ARE ALL CLEAR ON THIS...IT APPEARS THAT SAGE OF THE SIX PATHS IS AN ABILITY OF A PERSON TO CONTROL ALL OF THE ABOVE CHAKRA NATURES AND AS YOU NOTED ITS ONLY POSSIBLE BECAUSE HE HAD "FULLY MASTERED" THE RINNEGAN.

WHAT THIS SHOULD MEAN IS THAT NARUTO, ITACHI, ETC COULD NOT BE 1ST, 2ND 3RD SAGE OF SIX PATHS SINCE WE KNOW NON OF THEM FULLY MASTERED RINNEGAN NOR DID THEY HAVE ALL SIX CHAKRA NATURES UNDER THEIR CONTROL. SO THAT LEADS ME TO CONCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AS TO MADARA'S ACTIONS:

1) he spoke of obtaining the 1st hokages powers (senju clan) because only someone with both senju & uchiha blood in one person could mangage all of the following things...
2) Nagato is the third sage of the six paths only because he possessed the rinnegan, 3) Next he must be able to master all six of the nature chakras, we know that uchiha's are already known for Fire release techniques so he has that one already.

So the question is what other Chakra natures does MADARA already possess?

Hopefully by now you all see the pattern of what Madara is trying to do to make himself SOSP, but my question is who in the Narutoverse is ultimate Earth release ninja (in their bloodline) and what ninja has control over YING & YANG which is the SIXTH (6TH) CHAKRA NATURE???? WHO has already shown themselves to be Earth element users that not already dead (ie 3rd Hokage)? Who has already shown themselves to be YING/Yang masters? What does that even mean?

Last but not least....why is NAGATO'S BODY NOT BURIED IN THE DAM GROUND LIKE A NORMAL CORPSE AND EXCUSE ME BUT WHY HAS IT NOT ROTTEN/DECAYED LIKE ANY OTHER NORMAL CORPSE BY NOW....COME ON!!!!! AND WHAT?! SHE COULDNT CLOSE THOSE EYES???? JUST CREEPY!

You got some well thought out ideas there. In terms of the 6 natures of chakra, many combinations can be made to fill in the first 5, but as you mentioned, Nagato was the 3rd path SOLELY due to his rinnegan. As we saw in Madara's flashback,

, the SO6P had direct access to yin and yang powers which lead me to believe his rinnegan made that possible.

So it is likely the only way to manipulate yin/yang is with the rinnegan.

Oh and btw, it did seem to me that nagato's body was a little more withered than we last saw him, but ya he shouldn't look that good by this time.

Maybe Konan had him and Yahiko stuffed so she'd never loose them xd

The six paths has to be the Six remaining senjuu left... Naruto,Nagato,lady Tsunade ,Madara just revealing he was a senjuu.. and the others werent reaveled yet but hinting they had red hair

The 6 paths are to do with the senju and uchiha's, madara revealed nagato was from the uzumaki clan ( a decedant from the senju clan) who have the trait red hair, such as naruto's mum.

When Madara said Konan was going to see Nagato (and all her other deceased comrades), he just meant that she was going to die, so there's no hidden meaning in his words there.

As for being able to discover the location of Nagato and Yahiko's powers, Madara probably read Konan's mind, using a similar ability the human realm of the six paths of Pain did. But perhaps Kishimoto has another explanation - we'll see later.

He told her she would see Nagato again on the 'other side' which means he was about to kill her and she would see him in the afterlife. He mainly said this to rub it in her face that she has lost.

And we notice that there is a gap in time between the second to last and last pages, which we have to assume, was time spent by Madara interrogating or, more likely, scanning Konan's mind for the information.

As someone implied about deaths in the naruto manga, we have to assume for now that Konan is dead since Madara said she'd die at the end of the illusion, that remains a fact unless we get new insights proving otherwise.

The best explanation I heard was that Madara somehow oversaw Nagato's progression regarding his rinnegan, or prompted it. My first impression was that Madara directly implanted the Rinnegan into Nagato before he awakened it.

Both are very unfounded theories though.

Why did Madara called Nagato "the 3rd of the 6 paths"?
How was he able to give Nagato the rinnegan as he claims it?
What are the capabilities of a Senji? (Senji, Senju, which is which?)

The spoilers and some of the chapter have me a bit confused... First of all this whole thing about Madara's warping through dimensions and solidifying and whatever else... Second he says his Izanagi is perfect or completer unlike Danzou's, but when Madara used Izanagi to get out of Konan's jutsue his LEFT EYE closed... He said it himself... Using Izanagi will cause you to loose the light and power and one of your eyes, after that his left side is black out thus illustrating that he lost his sharingan in his left eye... So what makes his Izinagi so perfect or complete unlike Danzou's. Maybe he meant he didnt look all deform like Danzou who had a face on his shoulder and had sharingans all over his body... Madara im gussing can also use wood element like the 1st, but when will he make his move... Im guessing that by completer he meant that he is able to control and not look deform like Danzou.

'Complete' means he will basically be a reincarnation of the SO6P, and all the power that comes with it. I also believe Madara can use all the first's abilities, as I posted earlier, but cant ATM because of his weakened state. Despite that, I think he has the wood element ability under control since he can use inzangi so well (unlike danzo).

Also as I mentioned earlier, I think a 'perfect' form of a SHARINGAN Izangi is the ability to control the duration of the illusion for a SET time period. Unlike Danzo who just immediately re-appeared after using it. Clearly, only a perfect rinnegan fueled izanagi can last forever, without ever loosing it.

He said his Izanagi was complete, but from what I saw he lost his power in his left eye. Just like Danzou's sharingan eyes kept closing up as well. But I need to re read the chapter where Danzou fights Sasuke to figure out how it worked again because I kind of forgot.

Hi I'm new here so idk how everything works but I just wanted to point out for those of you who think tobi/madara is using zestu's body that his black dark side is on his right....what I consider the shadow on madara's face is on his left side...sorry if someone mentioned this already..
