Ok the spoiler had me worried, but it seems like Tobi (for now I'll assume tobi is madara, even though my gut still says he's not) DOESN'T have unlimited izanagi. His left eye went out, so yes, he DOES lose the eye he uses for it. However we can still assume he has a butt load of sharingans.

wow naruto and nagato are related never expected that. sweet chapter this part of the naruto series really has made the hokages seem more God like than they already are i mean the 1st 2nd and 4th seem so damn strong yet poor saruobi doesn't look so awesome anymore. oh hell we'll see i hope we get to know more about the sage now since he's playing such a major role in madara's plans if he is really madara.

The bijuu (10 tailed beast) is the chakra of all the 9 beasts. SO6P was only a host.
This was a very nice chapter tho i confuzed in one point.
Madara said that izanagi was a "forbidden UCHIHA technique that has the power to connect illusion and reality,at the cost of the eye loosing the light permanetly" and after that he said "a technique that can ONLY be used by someone possesing BOTH the powers of the uchiha AND the senji",then how uchiha clan could use this ability(uchiha supposed to have only the uchiha power from the older brother if my memory dont fail me)..Do they(uchiha) had both powers or what :S.AM i missing something?Also i believe ,like some of you,that madara's izanagi make his eye close for an amount of time and not forever.SO6P was using the same ability(as madara said) so i dont think he lost his eyes(but i cant confirmed that

A few other people including urself on this thread all believe madara's izanagi will not cause him to loose his eye sight. I do agree but only to a certain extent.
1. This may be true if madara was using his eternal sharigan

we can see the tomoe in his sharigan vanish after using izangi3. It doesn't mean if you can obtain the powers of the senju and uchiha you will be able to prevent blindess from using izangi.
4. Danzo's verson was incomplete because he couldn't use izangi as long as he wanted; thus, he would always look on his arm to see how long it will last..
5. Madara's version is complete because he can fully control the senju power (which was obtain by the first) thus allowing him to use izangi for as long as he wants until he releases the jutsu.
getting to my point, a completed izangi still causes the sharigan user to go blind in that eye unless if they have a ems. The only difference is that with the completed form you can maintain the jutsu as long as you want.

I have been going with this whole "Madara is a physical manifestation of darkness" for a while now, and he does not disprove it in this one.
BUT!
Do we know any Uchiha who would have been in the same age group as Orochimaru, Jaraiya, and Tsunade??????
I am thinking that there is a connection between Tobi and Orochimaru.

Clearly not all of the uchiha can use it. Only someone with the sharingan and the powers of the first hokage can use it. It seems, the sage of the six paths had the purest form of the first hokage's powers, and we also saw that someone of the SO6P's caliber can use an everlasting, never closing, form of izanagi through the rinnegan. I disagree with you on Madara's Izangi. He clearly stated that the eye closes forever. He did in fact mention that Danzo weilded an incomple version of izanagi, but I think that he meant interms of the length of the illusion, not the fact that it closed forever. Danzo immediately reappeared in his normal form after using izanagi. Up till the last scene we saw with Konan, the izanagi of Madara's was still active (he specifically said "when the illusion is over, you will be dead") so he can still control it for a time after his eye has closed.
But the rule still applies about the particular eye being worthless after using it. But clearly Madara can replace the eye in his left eye socket and can later re-use the technique indefinitely.
