Nah i think that neji or hinata are the 6th due to their involvement in the development of the sage!

I just re-read the sasuke/danzo battle and came up with a new theory:
In danzo's flashback:
As we can see from the Kyubi's attack on Konoha,
My theory is perhaps Kagami is the body that Madara is currently in possession of, or maybe some zetsu copy of it. Yes, I know that his hair doesn't match exactly, but he seems about the right age for it to have been him. Also, we do not see Kagami in the flashback of the Kyubi attack on Konoha, meaning he likely died before that. That would make sense, considering we first saw madara in his 'short hair' form during the attack on Konoha.
Perhaps Kagami died by some means between sarutobi becoming hokage and the Kyubi's attack on Konoha (as an adult) and Madara took his body by some means, first showing his new form in his fight against Minato.
Any opinions?

Torifu played a role in the battle. Since we have no indication he is alive now, we can assume he died in that battle or some time between now and then. Personally tobi=madara not excactly sure about body but mind for sure...I'll leave the arguing to the veterans though...
To find out who or what the paths are, maybe we need to identify some of the symbols in the image below? We can also look at the things that Madara is after and the creations of the SO6P. I think the 4th path has something to do with Sasuke's EMS. Madara obviously wanted him to use Itachi's eye. 5th path being all of the tailed-beasts' power and 6th could have something to do with Naruto.
Maybe this is what Madara's eye(s) will look like once he obtains all 6 paths.
And to reply to mjtuvok. I think Yin and Yang symbolizes Senju and Uchiha bloodlines. Yin being Uchiha (dark side) and Yang being Senju (light side). The symbol represents the endless cycle of balance. both the Yin and Yang is needed to maintain the balance and they need each other to exist. The symbol also has several other meanings; natural cycle of life, opposites, etc.
What I think Madara means is that when both Yin (Uchiha) and Yang (Senju) fuse, the technique Izanagi was born along with everything else that SO6P created. In order to have the power of both Yin and Yang, one needs to have both Uchiha and Senju power. I think Naruto is also capable of this as he still has the unknown gift from Itachi.
Konan was? a great character and she put up a good fight against Madara, however, almost everyone expected Madara to pull the "haha It was all an illusion" card because that's what happens most of the time when one is going up against a Sharingan user. It's getting old now imo. I also think Madara went blind in the eye he used Izanagi with and he will probably replace the eye he lost the light in with another spare. Guessing this is why he was after Shisui's eye?

Am I missing something, but all we know about how Madara gets the Senju clan side of the Sage of Six Paths is via the battle with the First Hokage.
If this course of thinking is the same, could that be what is behind Madara's mask? Just like Danzo's arm had the face of the 1st on his arm from mishaps in the process of getting both the Sharingan and Senju bloodline to work cohesively in his body.

sorry idk how 2 quote people yet....o ok................i'm too tired to think much now...i'll leave the arguing to the pros......i've been reading the forums for a while now.....i personally like silence of the lambs post because he thinks things through and logically explains his points.....btw everytime i try 2 upload a pic it fails
is it just me or people simply dont understand this manga. i think the only reason why madara said nagato was the third so6p is because someone else we dont know about, had the rinnegan before nagato.
and sasuke cannot be one of the so6p

i agree with the yang element in naruto.. as it was explained that it had the power to give/create life, and when he had his so6 cloak things around him.. ie. wood grewI am not sure if konan died or not... I am not even sure if jiraya died except I read and everything goes blank so I assume konan died too... But the six paths is crazy come on...S06P he had six powers (paths) she different people's power? And remember Rikudou had yin-yang element. I am betting naruto has the Yang element.
Man I had high hopes for Konan... I hope she is not dead yet...another awesome character died

Just to clarify on pg 12 tobi/madara says he is uchiha madara The man who obtained senju hashirama's powers...Two of the six paths are now one being.......meaning 1) tobi is madara (possibly a diff body or something but it's madara) 2) madara is saying that he and hashirama are two of the sixths paths....later on pg 16 Madara talks about nagato saying you are the third path......he's not saying the third so6p he said third of he sixth paths......2 me that means the 1st hokage, madara, and nagato are 3 of the 6 paths....meaning there are or will be 3 more...those 3 all have in common great power and blood descended from the so6p.......if I had to gues the other 3 I would say naruto and sasuke for sure...maybe itachi....sorry if this seemed redundant or no duh....just wanted to clear things up...I admit I'm not a pro or veteran of these forums...I can't post links yet but u can find it yourselves

You know what I can only understand half of it all, I certainly 110% do not believe Sasuke has nothing to do with being aan S06P
In my thoughts Madara and the 1st Hokage are together the 2nd S06P, Nagato is the 3rd and I'm not sure how he became that to be honest.
I reckon Madara is so determined for Sasuke to have EMS because Sasuke the only one who is able to and Madara wants his EMS maybe.

I agree......I probably can't come up with very good theories......but I truly respect silence of the lambs ideas....while I may not always agree with him and he comes under fire for some of his opionons they are well thought out and make a lot of sense...(wish there were more people on the forum like him....though this forum is great

Right this is my theory, If Madara has both the Senju and Uchiha power, could it be that he is in the First Hokages Body? and Kabuto has his real body in the Coffin thing?
This would then give him both.
The reason i thought this was the lines under his eyes are very close to the first hokages on Page 12 of 510

I have just sign in to say the same thing.
What is with the theory of all naruto sasuke madara hashirama being so6p?? its ridiculous...
it is clear that rikudou was first so6p and madara became second when he got hashirama's powers. And finally as madara revealed nagato was 3th so6p.
Its a wild guess but maybe madara is nagato's father and his mother is an uzumaki. since uzumaki clan has vanished nagato has been adopted by his parents which has been killed by konoha ninjas.
As a proof of my theory i suggest you to check the resemblance of nagato's and young madara's hair style. And do not forget that madara told konan that he has given nagato rinnegan. So maybe when uchiha and uzumaki get together than you get rinnegan.
Ergo i believe when naruto and sasuke fights naruto will defeat sasuke with itachi's gift hence sasuke will understand itachi's real intentions and that will make him to belive in Naruto too. He will offer Naruto to get his eyes and Sakura somehow will transplant them to Naruto. Naruto being uzumaki will turn EMS to rinnegan and he will become the 4th so6p with the real body and eyes and defeat Madara and the jyubi.

Konan must not be dead.... She seems to have done a jutsu before Madara grabbing her neck and said to herself that Nagato renewed her hope. If she was to die, I would say, she should say "Oh crap, now he got the Rinnegan"... She can't be so positive in death... And she should count the possibility of her loss and Madara finding Nagato... I really wish she is not dead...
Nagato was an Uzumaki, maybe the Sage genes passed down to Naruto. It makes sense.... Hashirama was also one of the Paths(? <- haven't entirely understood what Madara meant with "Hashirama was 2nd, Nagato was 3d") and Senju are connected to Uzumaki, so it's highly likely to be that case.
