STUPIDITY OR CONFORMITY??
since the Killerbee fight was intense, as soon as sasuke saw an exit he took it,
He got killer bee and left.....

i gotta ask you this, how is naruto not intelligent? some of the things he has done is clearly smart or some what genius. When he was going after nagato, how do you think he got to him? he knew those chakra pegs connected to pain was the only way. Sure he needs Intel i mean don't all genius's need some sort of prototype in order for them to develop a better one?

Please refrain from insulting people who do know what they are talking about.

Naruto has to learn using oversimplified and special teaching methods, something that a genius doesnt need to do.

Naruto learning shadow clone because it was the only technique that he could do because it didnt require anything too complicated, plus he could also use it to its greatest potential because of his extremely large chakra reserves.

Minato invented it on his own, without any help from anyone while naruto had a great teacher who could teach him how it worked.

Naruto was able to increase the level of hardwork to new heights when kakashi himself explained to him the idea that he could use his shadow clones to help him learn a high level technique.

All in all, he is just a very creative guy who is able to learn things using different techniques and special teaching methods to make up for his lack of comprehension and talent.
kushina help minato to learn rasengan... naruto had many talent... just show his later than sasuke or neji

If you are referring to his battle with pain...
No he did not analyzed anything.. he was going all out, since sage mode was going to erase,
then minato came and saved the day..

I was referring to all those 3 fight. For the pain battle, he made one of pain a frog stone, he finished remaining pain in correct order and he figured out where Nagato was.
Before he started to take part in the fight, he even thought out a plan to use sage mode 3 times while moving.

It was never said that Kushina helped Minato. Minato saw a TBB and was able to replicate it on his own. Being able to deduce the mechanics of a jutsu and then replicate that same jutsu just from simple observation is a feat of a true genius.

Naruto has creative talent and that is what he uses in his fights, he has never been holding back, nor was he hiding a unique ability. Its just that now the results of his clever techniques and hardwork/determination are paying off as it always does in the long run.

I clearly don't understand this whole insulting shit on both sides of the arguments. Character bashing and user insulting clearly does none of you guys justice. So far, fastrthnwind's position is the most unbiased that I can find.

I may be a fan of Naruto tbh, but I just find his post to be clearly unbiased.

by your logic sasuke not genuis too: fire jutsu belong to all in clan. eyes tech=uchiha DNA lighting= results kakashi training(chidori variation=rasengan variation)

Sasuke learned and mastered the fireball jutsu as a young genin when the fireball jutsu itself requires skill and knowledge of elemental transformation, something that kakashi said that someone of sasuke's age usually isnt able to, which proves that he has not only learned the mechanics elemental transformation, but is also able to utilise it in combat.

Just because he has the sharingan doesnt mean that he has mastered it. Anything that he sees with the sharingan he must be able to understand what it means and then use that knowledge to gain the upper hand in battle. He must also train to learn abilities because after copying the techniques, he must train to have the ability to use the copied technique in combat. On top of that, it requires significant chalra control to keep the sharingan activated for extended periods of time, so he must work at his chakra control to be able to keep his sharingan activated for a while.

Sasuke was able to master both lighting release and kakashi's signature technique, chidori within a very short time.

His ability to comprehend concepts quickly and use them tactically in battle is also the mark of a true genius.

First of all, Pein had never seen naruto in his life before, all he knew was that he had the kyuubi, no Sage Mode, No USELESS RASENGAN VARIATIONS, or umm, what other justu does naruto had??? well anyway, Kabuto was desperate to take Naruto and Manipulate Tobi, with Kyubi, he went all out to take him and he did not knew about the Rubber style-guy or that naruto was talking via- telepathy with the Hachibi..

I didn't say he'd seen Naruto before. I meant he knew what SM can do and what a rasengan is as he had fought a user before. He definitely knows about Kage bunshin, about summons. The only thing he didn't know is about rasenshuriken. And Naruto definitely did not know about Chibaku Tensei. Still, he managed to defeat him using his own strategy.

Putting MS Sasuke in his position, I seriously doubt he can defeat Pein without intel. With intel, he might because he also is a great strategist.

I really don't understand why is this relevant. fastrthnwind doesn't downplay anything about Naruto. Naruto is using his innate creativity and talent to use whatever ability he has.

He learned it, but it wasnt a complicated jutsu. Practically anyone can use the jutsu, but they cant create as many clones as Naruto can, so Naruto is able to use it to its maximum potential.

Naruto learned Rasengan from his masters who were one of the very few people who knew how to make it, so it's an ability that only Naruto had access to because of his connections with people who knew about it. If anyone else knew about the jutsu and how to make it, then more people would be using it.

Narutos creativeness and hard work balances out what he doesnt have, which is the talent of a natural genius like Sasuke.

Think about it like this, who do you to consider to be better overall:

The brilliant academic scholar (like Albert Einstein/Stephen Hawkings)

or

The amazing creative artist (like Picasso/Mozart)

They both have their own strengths and weaknesses when learning, but both are still held in high regards.

I have gained a ton of respect for you in this thread :)

edit: Einstein/Mozart solo Picasso/Hawking though haha.
Also Tesla solos all. Except maybe Einstein
