Naruto is a Genius shinobi

and aside from Itachi, Deidara and Danzo, how many enemies had sasuke had..
the only one Sasuke could not figure out was Killer bee, but that was plot no jutsu, since killer bee was going to help naruto master the Kyuubi..

itachi and danzo outsmarts sasuke easy... no. this been pure sasuke stupidity/arrogance

I don't understand why so many people think that Naruto is not a talented ninja. Lets take a look at some of his feats:

1.He was able to get a good chakra control even though Kurama was interfering with that. Think of it as trying to draw a straight line while someone keeps pushing your hands Just remember what happened to Jiraiya when he was put in a similar situation by Tsunade. This was proved lately when he transferred chakra to the alliance.

2.He learned the rasengan in 1 month, using an ingenious method at that.

3.He created one of the most powerful jutsus (rasenshuriken) in an amazingly short time, something no one could ever do before.

4.He mastered the control of the kyuubi's chakra in a short time, something that many, many people failed at given much more time. AFAIK only three people could do this: The SO6P, Bee, and Naruto.

5.He probably is the most skilled in chakra control right now, as stated by the Kurama.


So, can anyone tell me why is he considered as if he wasn't a genius shinobi? I know that he may not learn some things fast, but he learns and does things that are probably impossible for others to do.

First of all, Naruto is not that great at chakra control. He never was and probably never will be with his style of fighting just because he doesnt need it with his huge chakra reserves. He DOES however, have amazing chakra manipulation and chakra moulding/distribution abilities. Chakra control is in the body, chakra manipulation is outside the body. There is a difference.

NO HIS NOT A GENIUS
Because he does not analyzes his opponents..
He does not create hypothetical scenarios when fighting..
He uses pure raw power, not intelligence..
He can't keep his head cool..
He is skilled, but not intelligent..
THE MIND ARE THE BASICS

Fools. A genius is one who is gifted with rapid understanding and the ability to apply learned concepts to real life situations as well as draw their own unique connections between separate instances/events and make conjectures or derive patterns from these. A genius is the person who would have the most success with the least amount of effort, and also has the potential to have the most success with great effort. This explains someone like Shikamaru, who was bored in school because it was so tedious and easy to understand. With things like Naruto it is different because of KKG and Bijuu, so Naruto doesn't really need to be a genius to succeed because of his extreme chakra level. However, he would not be top 10 without the jutsu he created on his own

Naruto is a battle and people genius. But he needs to have concepts taught to him in special ways or he can't understand them. Although he quickly grasps these concepts in the over simplified way and quickly masters them. Example sage mode.

People think he is an idiot because he need to be taught in an elementary way even though this isn't the case because he understands the underlying concept more quickly than others. In my opinion that makes him a true genius.

^^^^^ These people have given a decent explanation of Narutos cognitive and comprehensional abilities. He isnt a genius, but he is very creative and can use his ingenuity to help him out in a fight by using a combination of diversonary tactics with his clones and direct combat with the opponent. Its a fairly linear fighting style, but its unpredictable most of the time, so anyone with no knowledge of his abilities and who also underrates Naruto's overall ability in a fight is very likely going to lose, especially with Naruto's determination and extremely high stamina.

Secondly, just because Naruto learns a different way doesnt automatically make him a genius. As mention by other people, he requires special guidance and attention to help him grasp basic concepts that a genius would be able to figure out and master very quickly.

DANZO NO, danzo has more knowledge, meaning that he has experience and knows how things work, Danzo in his prime maybe,
SASUKE, i intelligent, he figured him out, instead of freaking out like other characters might have done so..

I wouldn't call that emo. I mean, he had a massive psych shock. He lived his life for one purpose, only to find out that he killed the man that cared for him the most.


I agree, that's what I'm saying. He learns things in a different, unusual way than a "genius", but that in itself I think is talent.



It's true that he is hard working, but there have been other people who were called geniuses without posessing a KKG.

No he did not analyzed anything.. he was going all out, since sage mode was going to erase,
then minato came and saved the day..

As far as tactical intelligence, Naruto is one of the best. He comes up with extremely unorthodox counters to his opponents' techniques on the spot and they usually work. Though they are also supported by the plot. Naruto is a genius when it's convenient for Kishi

Chakra control IS the skill to "mould' and "manipulate". If he wasn't very skilled at it, he wouldn't have perfected SM in the first place.

Again, many people have failed to learn SM when he perfected it. That IMO requires great skill.

Pein: knew that naruto had Kurama. Had experience with SM (Jiraiya).
3rd raikage: controlled by the guy with the most intel on everyone in Narutoverse.
