The search for Lena took longer than Cheryl expected, she had obviously wandered further than expected during the initial reconnaissance of this place. Cheryl had played dice and suffered one particular fool longer than she could take and so set off on her own to discover moon about this moon isle and hopefully bump into the one that had led her here.

Cheryl did a lot of thinking while she wandered around the winding market paths here, she had come to realise that she hadn’t any real idea what she was hoping to find, what she expected or wanted to see, didn’t know what a satisfactory outcome to this trip looked like. Then she realised, that was fine. Freedom felt different to what she expected, being truly free was overwhelming in many ways for someone sheltered for so long. She took a moment as a spell of dizziness overcame her, resting her hand on a market stall to catch her suddenly faltering legs. Was this still the effects of her chakra exhaustion from days before? No. This was something new, something entirely different. Anxiety? “Shake it off Cheryl, people are watching” she mutters to herself under her breath as she takes a deep breath to compose herself, steadying her legs again as she nods a sincere sorry to the owner of the stall she had bumped to find support.
Cheryl wandered, wishing for familiarity, yearning for comfort and then… crash. The bombshell is knocked back as she collides with an oncomer, she hadn’t even noticed her focus was off but in a split second of flickering pictures through her head she realised that the last leg of this journey had been a blur, she’d lost herself in passing glances and smiles from unknown sources. In her head she battled with her conscience “come on Cheryl, you love attention, you love limelight… what is happening?!” But that love was gone, in a new land even the basic principles of life seemed scary. Then she looked up, the one she had bumped was more familiar than most and Cheryl snapped out of her fog.
A comfortable demeanour returned to her body.

“There you are! Where did you go? I was looking for you.”

Cheryl notices the one travelling with Lena and extends a hand to her.

“Cheryl Blossom.”

She says, smiling politely through a slightly teary eye.

She was a very beautiful woman, the one opposite her that had ran into Lena. It seemed that this was her new friend. From within her sleeves, a smirking Yae Miko removes a hand a delicately carries it over to Cheryl - her soft grip shaking the Barbie's hand as she bows her head politely.

"Yae Miko."

Lena watches the two for a moment before answering her questions.

"I was scouting out the area and got a little too curious about my lead. I got ahead of myself - didn't mean to be gone for too long."

Yae's hand cupped her own chin, elbow of it resting on her crossed arm, "Lena has told me you have quite the ability."

"Probably not wise we show it off in front of these people looking for crystals, ey?" Lena quickly interjected, looking around with some slight paranoia, she let out a sigh, "Did you find out much?"

Cheryl held back the urge to move in for a hug to further ease the now passing anxiety that had stricken her only moments earlier, it was grossly uncouth to do so in front of a new person, especially one whom would potentially be travelling with them for the next little while at least. She placed a hand on the back of her head and scratched slightly as she recollected the things she had learned.

"Turns out I'm brilliant at dice? We should really look at some money making scheme once we're done here... Other than that, no one really seems to know anything. Some are scared, others are excited. Some believe it a curse, others a blessing. Only thing they really know is that the main soure of the stuff is that way."

Cheryl points up in the direction of the main crystal fragment she'd been told of.

"Oh and also, there are disgusting men everywhere, that will never change."

Cheryl relaxes her posture and suggests with her body that Lena lead the way, the rest they would need to discover for themselves.

Lena rest her hands on her hips with a little smile at hearing what Cheryl had to say, she had predicted her resourcefulness even if it did come in the form of Gambling. It was a good way to pressure information out people, no complaints from her here. She looked in the direction Cheryl had pointed the Crystal to be in, Yae also looking and giving a nod.

The two of them would lead the way, but Lena would make sure that she was close to Cheryl. She was far away from home and Lena understood how daunting that may feel.

"So this is the furthest you've travelled from Omashu? How are you feeling?"

Beginning Main Quest: Recover a Depleted Crystalline Apotheotic Shard from the Moon Isle (188), site of a gigantic violet crystal emerging from the earth (C-Rank Mission).
Arjuna nodded with resolve at his clanmates' words. "We can take the beach route. It's not quicker, but its quieter."

With that Arjuna lead the two men away from the Port, down onto the flat coast that surrounded the island. He kept to himself as he focused on the feeling of sand beneath his bare feet, inspecting his shard every now and then to make sure it hadn't disappeared somehow. He followed the same path he took: along the thin west coast, south past a small village of chronic gamblers, and then finally east, up a narrow path overridden with fallen trees and unkempt bushland. This was one of the few uninhabited spots on the little island, with an equally small rivulet running nearby. Arjuna pointed at it and made a motion with his hands for 'do not touch', then he pointed at a nearby crystal, voilet and shining, poking out of the ground, implying that the very nature of the island could be tainted.

From there they climbed another hill, the same one Arjuna had surmounted days before but only on the opposite side, to the first crystal he'd spotted when he left from the main road. This one was medium sized, about two feet taller than he was, with a stark violet sheen compared to the greenery around it. "This is what we're dealing with. The main one--the size of a hill itself--is not far from here." Arjuna pointed in the direction of the massive violet crystal, though it was not visible from where they stood. It was at least another five minutes away. "I don't like the feeling I get from it, maybe its just superstition, but..." Arjuna stared off into the distance a moment, seemingly remembering another time he'd been summoned. "Anyway, I'll wait here while you two do you investigation. Then we can compare notes."

He then found a nearby fallen tree and sat, placing his orb beside him, and began humming.

(Hokkyoku āsurirīsu: Fuyu no Sasayaki)- Arctic Earth: Whispers of Winter
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: C-S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15-40
Damage: 30-80
Description: The most rudimentary technique of the release. By focusing Arctic Earth chakra throughout the body and/or surrounding earth the user is able to create tools and constructs made of permafrost. These can range from simple a kunai to a full length staff in terms of weaponry as well as walls, pillars, and other complex shapes. They can be formed from the earth up to mid ranged of the user and carry a certain malleable property in that, whenever the user comes in physical contact with his creations he can will them change shape and re-purpose (for example a kunai morphing into a tanto) but not rank (meaning the new tanto would remain the rank of the kunai). The size of these creatioms are directly proportional to the amount of chakra expended with S ranked variants ranging as big as the canon 'Destructive Earth Rising Pillars'. As per the properties of Arctic Earth, whenever these constructs come in contact with exposed skin it leaves it painfully frostbitten as the element is very frigid. With the seal of confrontation the user can manipulate said constructs up to long ranged of his person.
Note (s):
- S ranked version can only be used 4× per match.
- No S-Rank or above Arctic Earth techniques on the next turn (after the S-Rank version is used)
- Morphing of constructs cost 10 chakra each time done but doesn't take up a move slot.

Chakra: 1600 - 15 = 1585

Gilgamesh inspected the small crystal and looked in the direction of the supposedly bigger one of the two. He decided to waste no time in making his way there. He travelled forward into the thick of the forest with the trees rapidly growing in number until what seemed to be a clearing was up ahead. It seemed the man was right it really did only take a matter of five minutes. With only a few more steps needed he had reached his destination.

As if isolated by itself the crystal was the only thing in sight. It’s towering height and the light it extruded shined quite beautifully on the trees and leaves surrounding it. Gilgamesh marched forward towards the giant crystal trying to ascertain its origin but without his clairvoyance all he would be able to do would be to make uneducated guesses.

The man he had travelled with seemed to dislike the idea of coming into physical contact with the large crystal seemingly insinuating something unfortunate could happen. Just as Gilg was about to open his throne to use something lesser to break off a piece of the crystal he heard a slight crack just to his right. As his eyes focused on the cracked piece it would eventually detach itself entirely falling to the ground.

Using his control over Steel Gilgamesh would form a container of sorts to pick the shard up with and to store it. Given he did not know the material he was handling he deemed the shard unworthy of finding itself in one of his golden storage boxes. With a slight smile on his lips he would turn around and head back to Arjuna.

(Kōton no Jutsu) Steel Release Technique
Rank: D
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: Allows the user to, through the use of hand gestures, produce small objects, pillars, weapons, etc, made of black steel, from their body or from the earth. The constructs are as hard as a normal kunai and swords and can be thrown at a target physically.

Cheryl followed the pair, making sure to stay closer to Lena’s side of the leading duo for whatever comfort that might be able to provide. She felt better having some kind of barrier between her and this unknown world, she refocused and wore her usual runway style walk as they floated the streets in the direction of the largest crystal structure to have appeared in the area. She replied to Lena as they walked.

“Great, thanks. Honestly I’d barely left Omashu before, I think when we met before was the furthest I’d ever been from home. I’m fine though, think maybe I’m just still a bit exhausted from everything that happened. Feels like I left at the right time though, that was all leading to this. Crystal girl leaves home for the first time just in time for giant crystals to emerge from the ground all around the world? Sounds to me like I belong here, almost feel like I was always meant to follow this path. It’s strange and maybe a little bit frightening… but I’m excited. Ready to upgrade my shimmer.”

Cheryl was unsure of how much of what she said she had actually believed and how much was just for show. Feigning a sense of importance felt like a great way to convince herself she was fine, and so that is what she would do.

She guided the small group to the Crystal from her place just behind them, humming tunes to fill any silences that befell the group during the short journey, Cheryl was not one for silence and would always fill it where possible, especially now when she couldn’t trust herself being left alone with her thoughts.

That’s when they saw it, the large violet structure had displaced trees that no lie broken at its base, it dwarfed anything in the area around it and Cheryl wondered immensely why they had not been able to see it sooner, but now that they could, it was beautiful.

“Wow. It’s incredible.”

Cheryl said as she summoned a tiny piece of her own Crystal and held it up to the giant structure of the stuff that now hung over her casting a seemingly never ending shade.

“Wow. It’s incredible.”

Cheryl said as she summoned a tiny piece of her own Crystal and held it up to the giant structure of the stuff that now hung over her casting a seemingly never ending shade.

Lena let out a small laugh almost under her breath in response to Cheryl's confidence - it could quite possibly get her farther than even she might believe. An unstoppable resolve. Lena wouldn't mind seeing this woman's shimmer evolve.

"Well if you want a proper rest after this then I reckon you've earned it."

They all continued to the site of the structure. It was definitely something, the giant crystal beautifully reflected the light of the sun, painting the leaves of the surrounding trees in violet rays, as well as the grass and other structures. Lena looked up at it with an awe, though her feeling quickly shifted to unease. She didn't know what it was exactly, that it's because it just stood there quite intimidatingly - Lena could not put a finger on why she felt uneasy before this new addition to the world proper.

Lena looked towards Yae, but she had already moved on, considering she had seen it before she was not stunned by its appearance a second time. There was quite a crowd around it, people seemed to be writing things down, others sat in the grass to observe - and then there was a bit of riff-raff near to it with guards keeping others at bay. Yae moved towards what Lena would assume was the religious sect of people that had come to study it and get a closer look, the ones that had vacated their temple for this special occasion.

She was talking to the other priests, she even let out a chuckle covering it slightly with her hand. Yae glanced towards Lena, her finger beckoning her over, but only once before going back to speaking to the crowd she had mingled with. Lena made her way over, the chatter from this crowd becoming more coherent as she approached, the familiar voice of Yae chiming in every now and then. One of the Priests was the most passionate than the rest, talking loudly and too much in Lena's opinion - and from the look of Yae's face every now and then she probably agreed.

"It's a message from the GODS!"

The others babbled and seemed to argue with each other, Yae shaking her head with an amused smirk, "Well we're not going to get answers arguing with each other, studying and examining this product is our best way to determine any sort of answers. For all we know this is some kind of Advanced Elemental manipulation being used as an attempt to trick us."

"BLASPHEMY! We should not Touch it." The loud Priest was truly adamant about not going near to it. But the others seemed to be in the same ballpark as Yae, most agreeing to get closer to examine the crystal. The guards seemed to show the Priests' decision respect, only really allowing them to approach and take a closer look at the massive crystal. Luckily for Lena, everyone being way too enamoured by the crystal made it easier for her to mingle with the crowd of religious folk passed the guards - Lena beckoned Cheryl to come along as they got to the base of it.

Near to the base of it was a lot of smaller build-up of crystals and spikes sticking out. Lena crouched down to it, tilted her head at it. She could not really see anything unique about this formation - if Cheryl told Lena that she had made this - she would have no reason not to believe it after seeing what she did in Omashu. Alas, she couldn't have however. Lena wanted to get something quickly and leave this site before these Religious nuts got pissy with her. Lena took a nice looking Shard that seemed to have splintered off from this large crystal when it possibly first emerged? Waiting for Cheryl to recover hers before leaving the perimeter of the guards and priests.

This magnificent beast before her was the same as the fragment she held in her hand in so many ways.. yet it felt so different. Different of shape and size of course but it was more than that, something scratched at Cheryl’s brain, a lingering feeling that she could neither shake or grasp wholly. This Crystal wasn’t ordinary as much as it tried to appear to be.

Cheryl’s eye was taken by Lena, gesturing for her to join the group she’d found herself embraced in, a great cover to pick a piece of the Crystal for her own and Cheryl snapped back to reality making an initial movement toward her before she saw an easier target. Between herself and Lena stood a young guard, he was positioned standing over a fractured piece of the Crystal that had broken onto the ground, he stood over it to prevent its theft and a plan flicked into Cheryl’s mind.

Moving toward the guard, gliding all too closely to the small crowds around Cheryl clipped the heel of a pedestrian before throwing herself at the guard and grabbing him around the waist to keep herself standing. She looked up at him from her position at his waist and fluttered an eye, threw him a smile and whispered.

“Oop. Sorry”

She stood up and continued on her way toward Lena, the guard checking the ground beneath him to check the Crystal still remained. It did.

Yet it did not.

Having switched the crystals during her ‘tumble’, with the real Crystal now concealed by her body, Cheryl whisked her way to her companion and buried herself in the group before sliding it into a small bag she carried with her. She smiled to Lena and looked up at the large structure, again appearing as just another in this group of observers.

“Great, what’s next?”

Lena glanced over her shoulder to Yae, she was still talking to the religious group they had mingled with as if to maintain her cover - though she probably was also quite interested in what they had to say about it, if there was anything. Their eyes locked together for a moment, Yae giving Lena a nod signalling to her something. She knew what it meant, returning her attention to Cheryl who had re-joined her.

"Well. The friend of mine who wanted to examine the crystal is back near to where we came from. But that's a long time to travel and we've just got here. So... we can spend a day or two here before heading out? This place is known as a decent vacation spot so a chance to wind down before being swept off again sounds nice to me. Plus I have to link up with Yae again soon. Does that give you any inspiration?"

Lena stopped once they were far enough away, reaching the top of a close-by hill. It was hot, but the breeze up here was refreshing as it lifted her hair, looking at the Crystal from here was a nice sight even with the people conglomerating around it. She waited for Cheryl to respond with a hand on her hip.

Cheryl listened to Lena as they walked, making their way to a hilltop where they could get a great view of the Crystal in all of its ethereal wonder, surrounded by the hordes of people questioning its and possibly their own very existence. Turning back as they reached the hilltop, Cheryl took a deep breath as she looked out over the beauty below, letting out a large sigh that took with it a lot of the issues she had earlier. It felt better up here, she turned to Lena to respond.

“A rest sounds perfect, honestly I might stay here for a while. Hard to pass up the chance to take in a sight like this one.”

Cheryl took a seat on the grass and pulled a small book out of her bag. Flicking through pages of writing and drawings she stopped at the first empty one she found, almost nearing the end of her book now and pulled out a pencil.
Bringing her knees up she rested the book on them and looked up at Lena.

“Sometimes it’s nice to pass the focus y’know… i can almost forget myself in these kinds of moments. At home I’d so often wear a smile that I almost forget it’s okay not to sometimes. Expectation is a killer honestly.. A wonderful, blessing of a killer. Cheryl Blossom is me, and I love that side of myself, wouldn’t wish I were different. But sometimes Cheryl Blossom needs just to be Cheryl.. that’s why I came out here… to find the Cheryl beneath the Blossom.

Cheryl begins to run the pencils tip across her paper.

“I could do with a bath”

She says, not removing her gaze from her drawing or hesitating in her stroke.

Dantes had navigated through a dense thicket of trees and at last came to a clearing with a colossal, glittering crystal at the centre. It seemed to exude a strange, otherworldly power and the Count agreed with Arjuna's earlier advicethat this alien object should not be handled without any prior knowledge. Dantes idly wondered what it was and whether it had any connection to the profound changes that had taken place across the world in the last two years. It seemed with each passing day the world grew stranger, more alien and in some sense hostile. Something had to be done about the state of the world, but that was a problem for another time.

The Count decided he would want to investigate the crystal and its properties at his leisure. Seeing a shard break off the main structure, he would focus on containment and later transporting the shard to his base of operations. Focusing his doton chakra into the ground below the shard that had broken off, Dantes creates a small box of earth to completely enclose the crystalline shard. The box is infused with prana, leading it to give off a dark green glow. No sooner than it encloses the shard, the box is teleported into the Count's outstretched hand. After that, he leaves the area to regroup with Gilgamesh and Arjuna.

(Doton no Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique

(Kanki: Kyojin no Jidai) – Surge of Evocation: Epoch of Titans
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B-S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Considered the father technique of Era of Gods and Dynasty of Kings, Epoch of Titans uses the Surge of Evocation's ability to teleport objects and Surgebinders to the Throne, and return them to the field.

The Wandering Sea - Bending Space
The user, instead of applying this technique to their own body, can manifest Prana around any object or feature of the terrain to teleport it to the Throne and return it immediately or with a delayed timer. The teleported object can either reappear in a new location instantly, in the same manner as the user's own teleportation, or the user can set a delay of up to four turns and it will return on the first turn after the said number of turn elapses (e.g. a delay of 4 turns, the casting of this jutsu counting as the 1st, means it will reappear at the beginning of the user's 5th turn). The user can also create a technique or familiar with an aura of prana, which can only take affect in the same turn it is created, that allows the technique to teleport itself to a new location. This applies to virtually all type of jutsu except those which are streamed, as the user would find themselves unable to progress to this technique before the other reaches its end. This application occurs in the same timeframe as the jutsu cast and offensive jutsu teleported in this manner must reappear a minimum of five-meters away from any opponents unless the user is also within short-range of that opponent, in which it must reappear at least one meter away. The user cannot teleport any object or jutsu to or from a 1-meter distance from any opponents. However this entire variant cannot be applied to the opponent's jutsus which exceed B-Rank in chakra and it cannot be used on Noble Phantasms or Custom Weapons.

Mission End

While Arjuna waited for Dantes and Gilgamesh to return, he found himself quite content on his little hill, even if there was a great, foreboding crystal mere feet away. He checked on his shard, reapplied its protective sphere of Arctic Earth, and thought back to the voice he heard; the message. And his mind ventured toward the Void again, though this time without fear. Somehow, with his clanmates at his side Arjuna felt he had nothing to fear--

He thought he saw something, over on a nearby hill... people walking. Was that... Lena? Arjuna got up at once and walked to the far edge of his hill. He thought he saw a stitched woman with dark hair between the leaves for a moment. He surged chakra into his ears and triggered his Sound Sensory, effectively throwing his ears across the valley between them so that he could listen: "...we can spend a day or two.." His eyes widened. What really were the odds that he would meet so many important people on this tiny little patch of rock? It's been [years], but he was sure of what he heard. He also realized that was what he had felt earlier. He'd met Lena the last time he was summoned, and now it was as if he had felt her presence on the island too.

Footsteps, now louder than they ever were, alerted him to the return of his clan mates. Arjuna quickly strings a few hand signs together and fashions a familiar made of Prana in his palm. It takes the form of a small songbird with feathers the color of Arjuna's Prana; purple. "Go say hi for me," Arjuna whispered to the bird as he withdrew a metal card from his pocket, the same one he'd gotten all those years ago from the strange woman, and put it in its beak. He then sent the familiar off, where it flew across the divide to land somewhere along Lena's path and sing to grab her attention before dropping the metal card and dissolving into fiery wisps, as he had no intention of sustaining the creation. On the back of the card he'd written the words: 'I see you, friend. See me on the mainland when you get the time'.

"Ah! You've both gotten what you need," Arjuna said to Dantes and Gilgamesh in a more-than-happy tone, mostly to distract them from how longingly he'd stared at his familiar as it flew. "We can move to the mainland now, where I'm sure we'll find someone or thing capable of deciphering their secrets. Perhaps we ourselves might be the ones to crack the code." He noticed that Dantes didn't have his shard visible and was shocked he would put it in his clothes or pockets, but said nothing.

Arjuna turned in the direction of the Port. "We'll need to charter a vessel..."

(Ototon: Naiteki Ne no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Inner Sonar Skill
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10 (-1 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will enhance their hearing by infusing his ears with sound chakra. Then, by utilizing chakra and enfacing his lungs, the user will be able to control the frequency and intensity of the sound emitted from his simple breathing. This low frequency, inaudible sound is passively emitted and has no effect other than emerging from him and bouncing off of objects. Using the enhanced hearing, the user is able to know where everything is around them, effectively creating a sonar effect through the rebound and reflection of sound waves. The hearing and the sonar effect is precise enough so that one can effectively use it to substitute one's vision in battle if needed. Despite being very effective, specially if the user has any of his other senses hindered, it also leaves the user vulnerable to sound genjutsu or sound attacks which will be much more drastic in its effects.
Note: Lasts 6 turns

(Kanki: Kigen no Kamigami) – Surge of Evocation: Era of Gods
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique encompasses the basic applications of the Surge of Evocation. The Surge of Evocation is the usage of Prana in its raw and unrefined form; whatever this Prana touches is transformed into ethereal energy and transported to the Throne. Prana will neutralize and be neutralized by techniques that possess the same amount of chakra. Similarly it will be useless against attacks of greater chakra and will not be weakened by techniques of lower chakra. However when used on living targets this ambient energy will feel extremely frigid to the touch and induce cold burns on contact or even freeze a target solid for higher ranked applications. D to B-Rank uses will inflict cold burns as well as all of the effects of frostbite. A-Rank uses will cause necrosis of the afflicted parts of the body, making them appear dark purple and bruised to signify the death of cells. Affected appendages and organs will cease to function, becoming completely immobile in the case of limbs. S rank uses will freeze the struck targets solid. In the case of Surgebinders, who are immune to all of the above effects, they will be transported to the Throne when struck by the prana of another member of their clan. Era of Gods can be split into three separate applications, all based on the same principle: constructs, armors, and familiars made of prana energy.

Pride of Gilgamesh – Gates of Babylon
The Pride of Gilgamesh allows the user to produce Prana either from the user’s body or on the battlefield. The Prana can only be manifested within short-range of the opponent if the user is also within that range, in which it must be created a minimum of one meter away. This restriction does not apply if the user chooses to release the Prana from their body, rather than manifest it away from themselves. The energy can be released from the body via various hand signs depending on the user's rank in the clan. This can be done to generate constructs bound only by the rank of technique used and one’s imagination; alternatively the user can simplify the application by creating streams, waves, and constructs of Prana. Manifested Prana is capable of taking solid form, granting tangibility at the user’s volition. Non-projectile uses of this technique are capable of levitating and can be governed through mental commands and a sustained chakra cost. B-Ranks and below are sustained through 5 chakra per turn, A-Ranks and above require 10 chakra per turn. Created constructs will last three turns per usage unless they are prematurely cancelled. S-Rank applications can only be used once every three turns and no Prana in the user’s next turn.

Embrace of Ishtar – Armory of Akkadia
This variant allows the user to manifest armors, auras, and coatings of Prana around their body. This can be used to enshroud a single or multiple body parts in a layer of colored energy. These defenses can be made to fit the body like conventional armors or enveloping it in a formless manner. The first type can be created with additional limbs and appendages such as wings which enable flight. The user can also constantly reshape it and create small-scale weapons from the body of the armor, though at the cost of one of the user's three moves. It should be noted that these constructs remain attached to the main body of the armor and so act as an extension of it. The second type generates a “flowing aura” that appears to flicker like an open flame. This aura is often made as an upwards column that is streamed into the sky with its base remaining around the user. It should be noted that its power is not split or divided as all of the Prana energy is part of one whole. The armors can exhibit tangibility, although this does not hinder the user’s techniques and their passing which can freely move in and out of the armor per the user’s will. B-Rank and below applications require being sustained with 5 chakra per turn while A and S Ranks require 10 chakra per turn. This technique can last a maximum of three turns. S-Rank applications can be used twice per battle. After an S-Rank application expires the user is unable to utilize Prana single turn.

Divinity of Merlin – Garden of Avalon
The Divinity of Merlin allows the user to produce Prana in the same way as the Pride of Gilgamesh and can be shaped in the same way, limited by rank and imagination. However, unlike the Pride of Gilgamesh which creates static constructs the Divinity of Merlin creates constructs imbued with a limited form of sentience – familiars. These familiars can be created anywhere on the battlefield, with the exception of short-range of the opponent unless the user is also within that range; in this case the familiar cannot be created within two meters of the opponent. This restriction does not apply if the user chooses to release the Prana from their body. Familiars are capable of taking numerous shapes, not simply limited to animals. These familiars are also capable of taking solid form at the user’s volition. Familiars are capable of remaining on the battlefield for four turns. B-Ranks and below are sustained through 5 chakra per turn, A-Ranks and above require 10 chakra per turn. S-Rank applications can only be used twice times per battle and no Prana in the user’s next turn.

Note: The upper echelon of the clan (Servants and above) are capable of using this technique without hand signs for B-rank and below. A-rank will require two hand signs and S-rank requires three.
Note: The lower tier clan members (Phantasms to Guardians) will require 5 to 3 hand seals for all ranks, decreasing as they they ascend in rank.

(Jiongu: Kuro Ito) - Earth Grudge Fear: Dark Threads (REF)
Rank: C-S Rank (B)
Type: Attack/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: 30-80
Description: The basic technique of Kakuzu's unique Kinjutsu Earth Grudge Fear it allows the user to manipulate the threads that compose his body freely with each use. The user can not only alter his own body form and structure but also use the threads to attack or defend from incoming techniques. As Kakuzu's skin is still stitched to keep his humanoid form when not used, he can take advantage of this technique to propel his hands or limbs at great distances and grab a target. Its also this technique that allows Kakuzu to detach his masks from his own body to form the "animals" which he uses in combat.
Note: Can only be used by Kakuzu

Chakra: 1600 - (15 + 10 + 10) = 1565

Expectation is a killer honestly.. A wonderful, blessing of a killer. Wasn't that right? Though for Lena in particular it was her own expectation, she did not know how much Cheryl let the expectations of others get to her. Lena did not care for others' expectations of her, only really Alicia... she missed her little sister. Cheryl however, she cared about her appearance towards others and how she presented herself... as a superstar almost. Lena was the opposite, people expected her to be a monster because of her looks - though she never let those expectations of monster determine that she was one. She has definitely done things that might reflect the stereotype of monster, but that was just... her.

"Blossom. I'm supposed to be apart of this legendary clan... I think. Their second name will never be mine, Lena might not even be my name - I woke up this pretty one day and don't remember a day before it."

Lena sighed. Cheryl mentioned about having a bath and Lena raised her arm and sniffed herself, recoiling for a moment. Yeaaaaah.

"Oka...huh?"

Lena's gaze shot over to a bird, it sang and fluttered before her before dropping something from its grasp. It disappeared into fiery wisps once it had attracted Lena's attention, she frowned and looked down at the card. She recognised it. It was hers. Lena extended her hand out to it and it shot towards her, she caught it between her two fingers and observed it. There was an ink portrait of herself upon it, she checked the other side: 'I see you, friend. See me on the mainland when you get the time'.

Lena's eyes widened and she looked around for someone, bewildered by this sudden development. It seemed the crystal had attracted the attention of an old... moment. Once she realised she probably wouldn't find them here right now, she turned back to the attention of Cheryl, rubbing her right bicep. As distracted as she was, the idea of a bath was now swirling around in there too and she could still feel the ache of her muscles from the fight and the constant travelling not allowing her to properly recover.

"I think that is needed, yeah."

This post marks the start of the Main Quest:

A Tool Ascended: Recover a Depleted Crystalline Apotheotic Shard from the Moon Isle (188), site of a gigantic violet crystal emerging from the earth (C-Rank Mission).

The moon cast its gentle light upon Moon Isle, creating an ethereal glow around the colossal violet crystal that pierced the island's heart. Faye stood at the island's entrance, but she was not alone. Unseen to the world, a genki whispered to her, guiding her steps.

Faye took a deep breath, feeling the presence of her spiritual companion. "
I know you're with me," she murmured to the genki, a sense of gratitude in her voice. "Let's look around first."

The genki's whispers were subtle but persistent. They led her away from the crystal's radiant glow, deeper into the island's treacherous caverns. With each step, Faye could feel the pulse of the crystal weakening.

As they ventured further into the labyrinthine depths, the genki spoke to her—a voice in her mind that resonated with the wisdom of ages. "This place... it was once vibrant with life," it began, its tone tinged with sadness. "But the emergence of the violet crystal has disrupted the natural balance. The island's creatures have fallen under its influence."
Faye nodded in understanding, her senses attuned to the genki's words.

With the genki as her guide, Faye pressed on through the caverns. Crystal-corrupted creatures lurked in the shadows, their once-innocent forms twisted by the violet shard's energy. Faye's combat skills were put to the test as she engaged in battles to protect herself.
The genki's guidance proved invaluable. It whispered warnings of approaching threats, helping Faye navigate the treacherous terrain.

As they ventured deeper, the genki revealed more about the island's plight. "The Moon Isle was spared from the destruction that befell Eanna," it explained. "But now, strange and mysterious purple crystals have ruptured its surface. Their purpose remains unknown, but I feel they pose a threat to the island's very existence."

Finally, after what felt like an arduous journey, they reached a place with quite a few shards that had broken off. Faye couldn't ignore the ominous energy radiating from the broken off shards, a feeling of foreboding settling in her gut.

"It’s quite pretty actually." Faye muttered to the genki, her voice tinged with worry. The energy that the shard emitted was unsettling, and she didn't want to risk being directly exposed to it.

With a focused mind, Faye released her chakra into the nearby vicinity summoning a peculiar form of Genki, distinct from the one that had guided her.
Without hesitation, Faye directed the newly summoned Genki to envelop the broken shard that had separated from the colossal violet crystal. The Genki obeyed her command, and a translucent bubble formed around the shard, concealing it from view.

The shard seemed to vanish from its physical location, leaving only the faint ripple of energy in its wake. In reality, it had been transferred to the Pure World

While within the Pure World, the shard's ominous energy was contained and carried by the Genki, sparing Faye from direct exposure. It was a decision made out of caution, as she didn't want to risk any adverse effects from prolonged contact with the shard.

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Reminiscence of Loki is a supplementary technique which is activated through a mental command, which consumes no time whatsoever which allows it to be used within the same timeframe as another technique. Upon activation the user releases an amount of chakra into the nearby vicinity attracting a peculiar form of Genki, which instantly consumes the given energy and gains a duration of 3 turns on the field. These Genki share a mental link with the user, and is commanded to act through that link of communication, essentially the user is unhindered should he perform actions while the Genki act on his behalf, as they're are ordered by will and conviction alone, as the sacrificial portion of chakra was already given. Next is what makes these Genki special, is their ability to don themselves around an object or technique, preferably a technique of the user, which allows the Genki to share it's spiritual properties with the technique temporarily transferring the technique to the Pure World. While in the Pure World, the presence of the technique is masked by the untrained eye. Similar to how Jorth's Personification can manipulate it's influenced objects, so can Roki no Omoide, which allows a technique to be directed in different paths while in the Pure World, and finally be transferred back becoming tangible once more , however it requires a one turn wait before it can return from the Pure World, and costs +10 chakra every turn it remains in the Pure World. The technique lasts 3 turns when used, and can be used maximum of four times per battle.

With the shard safely in her possession, Faye emerged from the caverns and back onto the shores of Moon Isle. As she looked out at the tranquil waters surrounding the island, she realized she wasn't quite sure what to do next. She turned her gaze toward the genki, a sense of curiosity mixed with confusion in her eyes.

"So... uhm, what should I do now?" Faye asked, her words tinged with uncertainty. She paused briefly, her expression thoughtful, before adding, "I'm sorry; I don't think I caught your name. I'm Faye."

The genki regarded her with an ethereal presence, its form shifting and shimmering like a cascade of stardust. After a contemplative moment, it finally responded, "Names are not essential in the realm of spirits, but you may call me Seraphina, if you wish."

Faye nodded, accepting the name with a faint smile. "Alright then, Sera. What's the next step? What should I do with this shard?"

Seraphina's ethereal form swayed gently, as if pondering the question. "I'm not completely certain myself," she began, "but the shard seems to carry a weight of its own, Faye. It's like a powerful artifact, yet also potentially a danger."

"I've seen many head to Irkalla through the threshold," Seraphina continued, addressing Faye's uncertainty about their next step. "Perhaps we should start there."

Faye arched an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "We?" she questioned.

Seraphina's presence seemed to shimmer with newfound purpose. "Yes, we," she replied. "I'm just as curious as you are about what this crystal is and what it does. Consider me your emergency food guide on this journey."

With Seraphina's willingness to accompany her, Faye's path forward felt less daunting. They would venture to Irkalla together.

End of Mission.

Cheryl remained on her spot atop the hill until the basis of her drawing had been completed, she could shade and colour from memory but the base lines were best completed with the scene in clear view. Once done, she slotted the book back into her bag and rose to her feet stretching her legs, back, arms, shoulders and neck individually upon reaching standing, she then sighed heavily and shook out her torso before turning to Lena.

“Thank you for sharing that with me. Come, let’s relax. And if you want me to call you by a new name then I’m happy to do so, if this name isn’t 100% yours then maybe you can think of one you like better? One that feels more, you. A name that you can say and know that yes, I am this person and this person is me. The look, the mind, the soul. All united beyond a forgotten past, a name that speaks not monster or outcast but just speaks ‘me’.”

Cheryl ignored the bird for now despite having seen it arrive out the corner of her eye. This was not a time for introducing ever more questions and thoughts, this was a time for focus, two focusing on two. No more.

She leads the way back down the hill into the waiting city before slowing to a pace that would allow her to once again take in all the sights and fashions of the stalls and patrons that surrounded her once again. Cheryl felt better now, more like herself and was able to enjoy the sights and the sounds more on this walk. She stopped a couple of times to look at pieces of jewellery and accessories that were local to these lands, even purchasing a small moon pendant that she would affix to a chain she had later in the day. She would listen to Lena and tell her stories of home in return, Cheryl in this kind of mood was a wonder, she spoke equally in actions as words, an enchanting smile never even contemplated leaving her face as she floated through crowds and streets. Her words were almost all accompanied by movements that seemed almost rehearsed in the grace they were performed with, the stagecraft and dance oozed from her even when she was not trying.

No moment was silent until they reached their final location. A hot spring which Cheryl would pay for before changing into a bikini that she had also managed to purchase on her glide through the cities streets, the bikini was black and had small red heart patterned all over it, it was fastened in the front with a bow.

Cheryl let out an audible sound of serenity as she lowered herself into the hot spring, allowing the bubbles to engulf her entirely.

Cheryl let out an audible sound of serenity as she lowered herself into the hot spring, allowing the bubbles to engulf her entirely.

"Ah it's okay, Lena is what I chose since there was nothing else. I like Lena. And I'm open to learning of my name from before, I was trying to find out who I was but that sort of had to take a back seat since the world decided to end and all that. I have other things a bit more important to deal with in the present than to go distracting myself with distant history. One day though, wouldn't mind revisiting - just to see. I'm not going to let it define me - whatever it is."

Lena followed Cheryl, the two shared stories and Lena liked this Cheryl that was opening up to her. Lena spoke momentarily about her adopted sister Alicia, but didn't elaborate too much about her, becoming a little sad when mentioned but shook it off. Lena didn't do much shopping but she did buy some swimwear, 3 sets even. Why? Maybe Lena was just stocking up.

Upon reaching the spa, Lena would spend a little longer in the changing room, eventually leaving wearing a light purple bikini - it was plain otherwise, Lena didn't really care for the detail. Without her jacket and pants, there was even more stitching of hers visible across her back, stomach, chest, legs. She dipped in and submerged, closing her eyes as she allowed the sensations to embrace her skin and relax her muscles. Lena sits beside Cheryl, looking pretty content.

"How long do you reckon you'll stay on the road?"
