Minato is confirmed faster than Tobirama, so he is more likely to win

FTG is instant but the effectiveness of the jutsu depends on the body speed of the user. What i mean by that is that Tobirama and Minato may have a similar jutsu, but since Minato is bodily faster than Tobirama, he times his FTG attacks faster, basically the same instant he reappears [ ] [ ] when Tobirama seems a little slower in his attacks [ ]

Obito has better reflexes than Madara(he could phase through FRS when Madara couldn't react to KCM Lee although both arrived at the same time to their respective targets [ ] ), yet he couldn't react to Minato on 2 occasions [ ] [ ] when on the other side Madara bested Tobirama [ ] [ ]

Minato is faster, but Tobirama has more fire-power. It really depends. Personally, I'm going with Tobirama on this one, however it wouldn't be smart to say that Minato doesn't stand a pretty much equal chance to win this.

Minato is faster than Tobirama both in Shunshin and in FTG.

Tobirama on the other hand has superior ninjutsu firepower. His Edo Explosion can be teleported with S/T barrier, and his Water Style is easily dodged.

It's a really even match. Tobirama probably has the advantage over Minato through diversity; but I think Minato's featless tech (Rasen Senko yada yada) is very powerful and if we saw it I think the result of this fight would be obvious.

Mid-Long range Ninjutsu is meaningless in this match-up since they would all be evaded or redirected(in Minato's case). It will come down to a battle of speed sooner or later in battle. It's always like this during fights against speedters

Explosion cannot be warped through S/T barrier. S/T barrier can only warp projectiles, and Minato would be smart enough to try and outrun it, rather than get decimated by the explosion/shockwaves.

What is this fire power you speak of because if you're referring to his explosion technique with edos then that doesn't really count for anything since we don't even know if he has any edos prepared, it's all just speculation. His water jutsu are not going to be useful on the offensive either since its not hard to evade or use s/t. If anything Gamabunta provides the most fire power.

But forget summoning and projectile attacks and all that crap. That's not how two ftg users would fight, it's all about speed and taijutsu. Whoever is faster wins.

When people complain about why Obito didn't use his other jutsu against Minato, it was because they're useless in a battle of two space time users. Both obito and Minato knew it was down to speed that wins the fight. Not being idiotic by wasting chakra and spamming fireballs and wood branches. Same principle applies to both Tobirama and Minato.

Why can't it warp explosions?

Tobirama can utilize Water Style with FTG. I see no reason why he couldn't, but good point nonetheless.

Because, the FTG barrier only warps projectiles. The explosion is continuous, and there would still be some explosion that is not warped since it goes not only outward, but to the sides as well. The shockwaves from the explosion would KO everyone. But it is useless against Minato. CQC is how this fight ends.

That's true, I forgot the explosion was continuous.

It is alright. The likelihood of that jutsu being used is minimal to none anyway.

He's better than alive Minato now. That was the only thing that put Minato above him.

With what??????

With explosions that are casually dodged via shunshin or hiraishin?
With piss poor suiton?
With one marked kunai?

i know you guys keep scavenging for bits and pieces to try and downgrade minato but have at least some shame lol

Minato's speed>edo explosion, canon
Sealing jutsus>edos, canon (several times)
Minato's teleporting abilities>Tobirama's, canon
Minato's 30 kunais>one kunai made in a hurry

And Tobirama doesnt even used kunais when he was alive or when he fought juubito, canon lol

Minato is screwed if Tobirama is allowed to use Edo fodders/ infinite tag explosions...

Minato is faster but Tobirama has more raw power and more stamina, he can keep up with minato in speed, he is a bit slower but he can keep up.

Tobirama > Alive Minato (no KM)

Minato is bit faster in speed. But what about Stamina into play?

Tobirama fought an entire day without tiring, whilst Minato got tired after the Obito and kyuubi fight.

Which is why stamina is also a major role in this battle too, not just speed.

That's all they do every single chapter and yet Tobirama has still done nothing to put him above Minato. People saying he is above alive Minato need to slap themselves. I mean I still have not seen one decent argument that says how Minato loses. Eventually it's always the Stamina card which is stupid. This fight isn't dependent on who can outlast each other, it comes down to who is faster and who can react quicker. This fight won't last any longer than Minato vs Obito. When it comes down to two s/t users, you throw everything else out the window and focus on who can out maneuver the other. That's why Obito didn't bother with Fire or Wood jutsu's, becuase it would have been a waste of time and chakra.

Even Gai told Naruto not to attack Tobi with big or flashy moves, when Kakashi, Bee, Gai and Naruto were trying to land a hit on him. Because he knew it would be a waste of time and effort and would only end up getting yourself killed.
