This thread isn't Zabuza vs Mangetsu, NOT about who would win between them. It's about me saying Zabuza is more effective and can beat more ninja shown in the series than Mangetsu, so I'm trying to say Zabuza is overall stronger when against different ninja, not eachother. People don't understand this. It's like Guy and Kisame, Guy can beat Kisame, but Kisame is still overall more effective against other ninjas, in this case Mangetsu is Guy, and Zabuza is Kisame.

I don't understand why people think he was the strongest, (excluding Kisame). Oh and please read this or you won't agree.

Yea ok he mastered all seven swords, big deal. I find it hard to believe that other members such as Ameyuri Ringo and two Anbu members, Zabuza and Kushimaru couldn't master all the swords besides Samehada. I bet they just picked a favorite or a sword that best suits their abilities.

Mangetsu when he was alive wielded the Haramekarei, not even one of the strongest swords.... This is evident because the other members already wielded the other six.

Mangetsu mastering Samehada basically only shows he has high chakra reserves, that's basically it, no other feats from the other swords other than the obvious, good chakra control.

Mangetsu is strong, true, but all he has else other than Silent Killing is the Hydrification technique, we might be able to assume he has some of Suigetsu's abilites, but he died so early in his life, so I don't know. I guess we can say he can make his arm stronger using his KG to wield a blade easier.

So, Mangetsu has very good kenjutsu, silent killing (he can't use Hidden Mist Jutsu, so his SK is basically useless in battle, hydrification technique, large chakra reserves, and can enlarge his arm.

Now personally, I think Zabuza is the strongest. He has at least the same skills in Kenjutsu as Mangetsu, (4.5/5, the same as Kisame's according to DB). Also, he was noted the best at Silent Killing, so great that Kakashi even noted, "no one compared to him". He was the only one in the group able to use the Hidden Mist Jutsu, and he used it so great it was his signature. Not only that, but he could also use Water Clone, Water Prison, Water Dragon, and Giant Vortex Jutsu.

Also, Zabuza still had incredible strength, even able to wield the Kubikiribocho with one hand with ease, something Mangetsu would have to use his KG to enlargen his arm for.

Plus, Mangetsu wasn't even an Anbu member, an accomplishment and special rank Zabuza achieved.

So to summerize this up, Zabuza is the best at Silent Killing and Hidden Mist Jutsu, a jutsu only he possessed in the group, already incredible strength, high chakra reserves(not as high as Mangetsu), very fast, and great large scale Suiton techs and two other tactical Suiton techs.

True Mangetsu would beat Zabuza due to Zabuza revolving around Suiton, but overall, Zabuza is the stronger of the two when facing other opponents shown in the series, so he is the strongest one of the group.

Wasn't it confirmed somewhere that Mangetsu was the strongest out of all the 7 Swordsmen?

Zabuza was definitely one of the strongest of the 7, but we can assume that Mangetsu was the strongest due to the fact he had mastered all seven swords.
He most likely knew other techniques such as Water Prison, Water Dragon and Water Gun Technique.

Mangetsu would win most (if not all) fights against Zabuza.

I dont think the seven swordsman had a leader other than the mizukage. they all had thier strengths and Mugetsu's trademark was the ability to use any of the legendary swords. I think versatility is extremely valuable in battle, sure he may not have shown the ability to cloak himself in a mist jutsu, or look like a fish, or have battled any main character outside of oro and suigetsu while he was alive.

Mangetsu has the Hydrification Technique, unless you can counter that, then you can't hit him

Haramekarei is strong, it can change shape and increase in size.....far better than Zabuza's Kubikiribōchō

A master with a rock can beat an amateur with a sword, and Mangetsu mastered all of them.....so it doesn't matter which one he wields

You do realize zabuza can't even touch mangetsu with physical attacks since he has hydrafication right? the only one who poses a real threat to mangetsu is the raiton guy who uses kiba twin swords

Yea, but you do realize I already covered that in the bottom of my thread right? And I explained everything in the thread right? Don't you think before you comment with ignorance you should read the thread first, right?

I already know he has the hydrification technique, im assuming you didnt read my thread?

Hiramekarei is stronger, but it isnt, "far stronger" Kubikiribocho still is the size of it, if not larger and can rebuild.

It doesnt matter which one he wields? dude......he wielded the HirameKarei...end of story bro

dude they hardly showed them fight in the manga

but they had fillers in the anime, and if you wanna compare the other members to zabuza.....they killed fodder ninja like they were flies.

Ameyuri Ringo alone shoots lighting like it's a kirin

zabuza doesn't compare
