Yo I just noticed the "attach files" button at the bottom of the reply post and I'm over here just thinking of how far the forum has come from a technical stand point.

I'm so used to being on discord cuz I'm over here getting impatient over waiting like 5m for a response thinking this thread supposed to be act like an IM platform LOL

I had to pull away from the game. Lost interest and modship went into a huge downward spiral. RP community became too taxing to deal with while being a part of it too. Also the vibrant and intense hatred for my clan despite the years constantly explaining things and even going as far as to outline how to beat it. That also took its tole on me.

Hum... it takes a tough skin to endure the criticism of others in the RP when you're a mod. Its not easy. I for one was never good at it. And lashed out more times than I can count. Ultimately, it was the drop of water in an ocean of reasons that made me leave. So I feel ya. Though I didn't expect that to happen with you. You were always liked. I wasn't as universally liked as you.

There are many unknowns with Sars-Cov-2. Normally, a disease needs to be studied and tested for a decade or more to be fully understood. And even so, it often is never fully understood. And Virus are, amongst all types of pathogens, the most difficult to study. We have roughtly 7 months of knowing the disease and only 2 or 3 months in the most advanced countries that can actually study it.

The main issues with Sars-Cov-2 is that it has a high rate of assymptomatic infected individuals. These spread the disease unknowingly. And in those that are symptomathic, you have two scenarios: a mild manifestation of the disease and a severe one. The severe one is super severe. Add into that the fact that its symptons, in the cases that they manifest, can be confused with the flu, a cold or even seasonal allergies, and it becomes near impossible to control.

Masks, social distancing and higiene are essential. ESSENTIAL. Because you need to consider every single individual as a potencially infected on and every single surface as contaminated. Unless you have this mindset, the disease will spread uncontrollably. And thats the key thing. It will spread, but it needs to spread slowly so that it kills the least amount of people possible.

Its a scary thing guys. Its no joke. Trust me. Its much more serious than its being pictured to be.

Here, we're at 42k confirmed cases and 1,5k deaths. But in the capital, its been near uncontrolabe in the last week.

I found my peace though. Like, I made a few friends with people I wasn't cool with even while I was a mod and can at least have amicable conversations with some of em. Rexii is like a 40-60 toss up though. But I'm SURE, you of all people know about that. You and him were besties XD.

Modship soured me a bit, but I'm generally ok now and enjoy the discord chat mainly to discuss random ish with people so I can't complain.

Glad you aint in the thick of it. I'm over in in NY where things hit the fan QUICK when the US got hit. Now, I wasn't in the city (NYC) where the biggest spikes were but the whole state got put on hold for a good two months. We still pretty tied up where I am now.

We are very lucky in Australia, but one of the states is having a second wave now which sucks. Not gonna be any travelling for probably another 6-12 months at least. Economy is collapsing because of the terrible cycle.

I saw you said youre still working though, at least having meetings. Thats hella lucky. My entire industry got laid off, its gonna be hell trying to find work getting out of this. I would consider going back to London for work, but cant even travel. So I jsut gotta sit tight and try find work.

Also I hate that you guys are in summer and we are in winter. Id much much rather be having this in summer where at least I can go out into backyard during day instead of being stuck inside the whole time

Everyone and they mama get roasted in there, not just you. Though I feel like most conversations aren't about RP in that channel.

It's been liberating, I haven't gotten into an argument with anyone in there (not a hostile one anyway) after I just let go of everything.

Yeah. We burnt really badly. I remember some ridiculous stat. The country burned for 6 months, so so much burned. Millions of wildlife lost, lots of farmland. Of all the relief money I think only 20-30% of it so far has actually been distributed. Theyre keeping it saying shit like "this is going to be a fun for the next fire" and all that.

I dunno I always preferred winters, I just wanted nice weather if I was going to be stuck inside for 5-6 months. I reckon if I was ever to move to the US I would love to live in Seattle. One thing Ive always been envious of if your holidays like Thanksgiving and Halloween. Yall do crazy stuff while we dont really celebrate it.

Reporting became too frequent and Custom hoarding kept evolving and people would have more and more abilities but not want others to have stuff they deemed as stronger than them. Like it's weird, people would see someone make something and whether it was actually broken or OPed, it would be reported based on someone's individual ability to counter it ( and sometimes whether they thought they could counter it, right or not). There have been a lot of stuff reported that isnt hard to deal with and, admittedly, some reported that were valid but mostly it became a "Wow, I don't think I can beat this. It's too much, I'm gonna report it." And a lot of the time, it's like "all you need is a basic Fuuin seal" or Senjutsu, combos, etc that weren't hard to get. I think the late 2017 - early 19 years of reporting were worse and what caused a lot of burn out for a lot of us.

I forgot where it says it, but can a Doujutsu be interrupted? Also, if it was activated in your Previous Turn, is it still activated in your Next Turn (or does activation of your Doujutsu continue on in your Next Turn?

Doujutsu stays active till you cannot pay the chakra cost anymore.
Im not sure what you mean by interrupted. Like, prevented? Almost any or all techniques can theoretically be interrupted, except for the first move in a battle. But because most doujutsu is an 'instant' type move, usually its not interrupted.

Yeah, I get the once activated at the beginning of the battle its passive. But what if I activated in the middle of the battle? Does it count as a move?

If something is listed as passive, then it's passive, regardless of when you use it. I'm not really sure why activating your dojutsu in the middle of a battle would change that.

Fr tho, was reporting actually that bad? I've never had any real perspective on it because most the people I talk to only report something when it clashes heavily with an idea they already own.
