Kakuzu's gian was capable to tie with Kakashi's raikiri capable to cut through V2 shrouds like butter. We've already seen that a far weaker version(chidori) in part1 went through Gaara's ultimate defense which remained the same in part2(Deidara vs Gaara's fight), so Kakuzu's gian should be capable to pierce through Gaara's defense whether he uses his ultimate defense or not.

Not only that but water turns sand to mud, which would weaken Gaara's offense and defense even more. And yes Kakuzu can use water since it's stated by Kakashi that he can use all elements(even databook states it somewhere if i remember correctly). With doton domu active, Gaara's sand isn't going through Kakuzu's diamond defense, and even if by some miracle he managed to kill Kakuzu, he still has 4 other hearts. Kakuzu would win

Not going to comment on this match-up. People should know why, but I will dispute false information.

Kakazu base on experience and warrior mentality. (Garra would win if location was switched on here to a beach or desert )

it was also once said that hiruzen was stronger than onoki, the 3rd raikage, and all other kages of his time..but we both know thats just pure hype, dont we? kakuzu cannot use suiton, his five hearts are as follows: lightning, wind, fire, earth, and his normal heart beating in his chest.

gaara wins high diff, because kakuzu's only chance of breaking through the ultimate defense is his lightning heart, and once gaara crushes it with sand coffin it's downhill for kakuzu. even with kakuzu's diamond armor, gaara can win with the sand tsunami/giant sand coffin and bury him 200 feet under the earth. even if kakuzu's diamond armor saves him, he can't move, and he loses.

I think Kakuzu's masks surround Gaara. Gaara surrounds himself with sand. But eventually there are too many attacks at once and the masks break through the sand little by little and kill Gaara.

I would love to know whats Kakuzu's counter to getting burried 200m into the earth. He would have to exhaust his chakra in keeping Domo activated, but even so, he will be without oxygen and a way of getting himself out.

Furthermore, Gaara has shown to be able to attack and defend himself simultaneously. I don't think it will be much of an issue to pick off each of Kakuzu's hearts one by one.

It has been shown that pressure cannot destroy Kakuzu's mask . So to speak, Gaara's pressurized sand would not destroy the masks.

To dispute your other point in which you claim "Kakuzu has no counter to being buried 200m into the Earth", this scan here . As you can see Kakuzu's tendril/threaded limbs can travel underground with the attachment of a heart.

Kakuzu being buried within sand is no problem due to his thread/tendril body structure.

its not like he has enough sand to burry Kakuzu anyways .. Hes def not getting time to create sand, and this is not in a desert

Incorrect Zexion, Gaara doesn't need a lot "time" to create sand remember his sand is automatic, and very quick to conjure itself to massive quantities/multiple qualities. Kimimaro had made a logical statement regarding this . While this was true, Gaara's rebuttal was "He could do anything if sand was in his possession . With that being noted sand can be created from ANY mineral within the ground, and the surface in this location is of course ground or earth; that being also noted Gaara, and Lee bring us to this realization .

Take heed of Gaara proclaiming "It doesn't take any effort for me to create sand from the ground", giving the public the impression that not only is it easy for Gaara to create sand from the surface, but it's a quick process as well. To further more back up my claim that Gaara is able to create a huge quantity of sand quickly is this panel being able to create a huge wall of sand within seconds, that is beyond quick. This quick session of conjuring sand from the ground turned into this conclusion only within seconds that's beyond impressive no matter how you look at it, Gaara created a waterfall made out of sand within a few seconds; a speed feat in itself.

So Gaara being blitzed by Kakuzu is nonsense.

First off when i said long i dod not mean painstakingly long ... Second It did not take "Seconds" to create the sand ... From the moment he got on the ground he was funneling sand into the terrain .. and then a few events passed by before he unleashed it .. But Effort=/= Time .. Just because he said verry little effort does not mean it wont take a little while .. I dont think i need to provide an example. With the time it does take it would be very easy for Kakuzu to fire off Raiton Gian
When i said long i meant in a battle comparison nor did i ever say he would be blitzed ,, until now lol ..

And id like to point out that the reason Raiton is so effective on the Sand is actually because it is hot enough for the sand to begin to melt, softning it up for the intense piercing that usually comes with raiton .. So if someone knew this information ... which no doubt Kakuzu does being the intelligent man he is, if he were to double the lightning bolts fired off by gian .. Causing even MORE heat to radiate from the lightning and penetrate the sand faster and causing greater damage to the sand ..
so basically it would not matter how much sand he uses to reinforce .. Kakuzu can simply fire off more lightning strikes upping the heat a.k.a ripping through the sand regardless.. Just a little thing i thought up

Unless my science is dead wrong but im pretty sure its not this time :win:

I won't argue that first point, not saying I agree with you, but I just want to keep my siding neutral, as I love both characters.

To counter your second rebuttal though.. Kakuzu cannot conjure up two raiton: Gians due to the fact Raiton: Gian needs multiple enemies or should I say "conductees" to multiply itself. If facing one opponent the Raiton:Gian will simply stay as a singular bolt, however the Raiton Mask can fire a singular succession of Raiton: Gians, but I doubt immediately after the other. The problem with Raiton: Gian needing a conductee is because a conductee (a person) has 60-70% of water within their body, so naturally water conduct lightning; you should get where I'm going.

You say Raiton can melt Sand correct? Well that is true, however not in this case, remember Sasuke used Chidori a highly concentrated Raiton technique in which pierced a V1 Shukaku Gaara? Gaara's sand did not melt, as it did against Sasuke's Amaterasu as the Gokage meeting. Thus, I can conclude that Raiton is indeed not hot enough to melt Gaara's sand unless it was natural lightning (such a Kirin), and not lightning created via chakra; as the heat produced would not be measurable to that of Amaterasu.

Don't forget the density, and overall measurements of Gaara's sand in which he can create. A single Raiton: Gian in which can pierce through rock, cannot be measured against Sand in which endured Kimimaro's strongest piercing attack.

Okay, I fail to see the counters here. Those two manga scans aren't comparable to that of Gaara's sand.

In the event that any of Kakuzu's hearts gets caught in Gaara's Sand Coffin, the sand will simply seep right threw the tendrils and crush the heart.

Another bad example. What makes you think Kakuzu's tendril limb being able to travel a few feet under soft ground justifies him accomplishing the same under Gaara's Sand Burial. It is made clear by the manga, that movement is simply under this depth of sand. While I do see his tendrils being devoid of such movement restrictions, they aren't covering 200m, nor digging him out for that matter.

You're wrong. Creating sand comes for Gaara.
