Mei, would win. Kakashi is an outstanding ninja, but he excels when he is in a group because of his incredibly low amount of chakra. I think people underestimate Kakashi because of his need to be in a group of people.

The only reason Kakashi was the first choice is because Shikaku nominated him before Danzo talked. He didn't need Shisui's genjutsu, all he needed was a speech.

But this isn't about Danzo's rise to power, it's about a fight between Mei and Kakashi.

Actually Kakashi is helping fighting 7 Bijuu and Tobi. That's equally if not greater than their fight with Edo Madara.

We've been seeing Kakashi kill people since Part 1 of Naruto. :|

They don't have to defend him really; His actions speak for themselves.

Plot no jutsu has saved many people from death in the Narutoverse, but it wouldn't save Mei from dying at the hands of Kakashi here. :shrug:

I haven't seen a good arguement from you as to why Mei would win and you know why? Because non of us know all of her abilities. The only thing we've seen her do is the corrosion jutsu.

If I were to see a match up on here that Kakashi would lose in (which I have), then I say he would lose. Even though he is my favorite ninja.

Exactly, cause it didn't happen. Mei is my fav character, but I'm not saying she can beat everyone. I simply give credit where it is deserved. I didn't say she couldn't. I said we haven't SEEN any of her other jutsu. If Kishi hasn't put it in the manga then, I'm sorry, but you can't say it's "obvious." Just because Mei's KG uses fire and earth, doesn't necessarily mean she can use some beast earth or fire Jutsus. As I stated, when Kishi (the man who writes this manga) gives her another jutsu then you can say she has it and can use it. If she had some other crazy jutsu, then I'm sure she would be using it against Madara right now.. you know.. where it actually matters. But, she's not.

I clearly said that Kakashi would win for multiple reasons but the only two that matter in this case, In my opinion, is her lack of speed and his Mangekyou Sharingan ability, Kamui, which I am positive can engulf her corrosion acid when she spits it. It engulfed Sasuke's Susano'o arrow. Need I say more?

...I'm not in the mood to go back to find the page..it's pretty clear that he's not running around when they are fighting...it says "He also has the same stationary type fighting style as his son." under abilities...

yea, when we were on the topic of him fighting the beast...You said he was holding his own against 5 or so of them...So I said on the verge of dying. Didn't mean for there to be any confusion...

Yea, we can...I'm not saying she will be "beast" at the other elements, but it has been shown and said by yamato when he was training naruto with kakashi that you have to be able to use to elements well to be able to combine them. Eh, I'm hoping they'll alll do some bad ass shit to these clones...anyway, kinda like saying Onoki can only use dust and earth, cause that's all we've seen..Yamato (jounin) can use the things he uses to make wood, so why cant Mei or Onoki?

Yea, and I told you why those wouldn't work at the very beginning.....I don't see how Kumi can take out a large area of MIST...or a large amount of lava. As stated, it tires you out to use it on larger things. Now, I can understand how he would take her out if he got her with it...I just don't see that happening.

If the other Kage's weren't in this fight, then Mei would be dead already.. Would she not? One on one she loses.


I'm not saying that she cannot use the technique outside of a room. I said that it wouldn't have the same effect; thus, the acidity wouldn't effect Kakashi unless it made contact.

You got off topic and decided to bring up individuals who use a stationary fighting position, for different reasons.

When I stated that she was fast enough to counter Madara...you had no reply but bring up the other kages..

The mist would disperse....and fill the area...We don't know if she can control where it goes, but that wouldn't matter since they are in a open field.

There's no way Kakashi would beat Mei. He's strong, yeah, but she's already demonstrated techniques that he can't copy and would have trouble defending against. And we haven't even seen her full power.
