Mei, don't see Kakashi keeping up with her forever, or even getting a kamui in. Bit I'd say mid/high difficulty because Mei will have to deal with ninken, all of Kakashi's jutsu, him copying her techniques

other way around bud . mei hasnt showed any taijutsu, speed, or smarts that could compete with kakashi . Even with her KGs kakashi still beats her in the ninjutsu department as well

the way sasuke dodged lava release tells us that it can be easily avoided, and if anybodies good at playing defense and offense at the same time its kakashi .

-I see both Kakashi and Mei as equals IMO. But in a match up I would say Kakashi b/c we know more about him.
-In ninjutsu you can say they are more or less equal... Mei might have a small upper hand on him but barely.
-In taijutsu Kakashi has it, If he gets in close to do some hand to hand combat idk how Mei can go against that. Plus it seems as Kakashi is quicker than her.
-Intelligence wise we have seen more of Kakashi than Mei to judge them. But I'm giving it to Kakashi. I understand Mei is a Kage, but still Kakashi has shown his knowledge plenty of times to give him the upper hand.

All in all I say Kakashi has this one hard difficulty. But a win is a win

mei has a boil style corrisive mist that would make life very hard on any oppenent as long as she doesnt have to care about bystandards... earth style user+kage lvl= good defenses... and with her other two elements and lava style to fight long range... i dont think kmui would come into this... and the other move kakashi could kill her with is a head hunter lightning blade combo that has a chance but im hoping a kage can dodge that attack...no to mention if she envelopes herself in her own mist close combat becomes hard to do....

Kakashi mid dif. Somewhat depends on location (enclosed or not?), but in any case I think Kakashi could hide underground if Mei used boil release. He's also fast enough to avoid her lava, and is able to fake her out with a lightning clone. He also seems smart enough to beat her, especially with his variety of techniques. And we can't forget kamui (Mei is really slow). Maybe Kakashi should be Mizukage if he can't be Hokage.

Lava release is by NO means "long range" . and boil release doesnt do anything when kakashi can simply back up ..

This^ Kakashi wins low difficulty for me. Mei is weak. Not even capable to fight black Zetsu during one day long with a huge team of jounins by her side

actually my first post states that kakashi has chances of winning... that i would bet on mei if i had to bet... the corrisive mist i speak of is more to keep kakashi at a distance... and having her other elements and lava style to fight at a distance yea... i deffinitly think she can pressure him... also she's only used one jutsu from lava style, im pretty sure she has others(the jinchuriki lava user used a long range phenix flower like lava style jutsu)...

so u think mei made kage simply because she has two kg's or wat??? pretty sure she has smarts... pretty sure she has at least a high lvl jonin speed... and probably decent taijutsu.... but i can easily come up with scenerio's preventing kakashi from coming in close...

And if you wanna say she was aiming at the wall to trap him in the summit its not entirely correct, all the kages were fighting to kiil, not capture <--- this proves that kakashi and any other illusive ninja of their caliber should be able to dodge lava release

the fact she still has earth/fire/water jutsu means she can fight long range... and going by wat we ve seen of her she aint even a genin... her being a kage should put the idea that he speed is at least jonin lvl... she's smart enough to run a village and protect a country... and she's strong enough to be uncontested as mizukage.... so ur gona have to excuse me for the imagination, but it is viable... also she is portrayed as being a masterful water style user, which are very good range fighters....and actually it was looking to be her plan to close the wall and have chojiro put sasuke though it as the enclosed fighting space is wat she was going for so SHE could kill him herself...

And they were 3vsKakashi alone, and the frequenz of attacks were far more impressiv that what Mei is capable to do. And after that he was even fast enough to protect Ino-shika-cho:

Avoiding quicks attacks and attacking himself quickly is Kakashis speciality like Bijuu13 said. He won't be touch by Meis lava that easily.
