Kakashi is in top 15 around 11-15 and Itachi is somewhere in the top ten around 4-8. The only thing Kakashi fans have stated so far is Kamui, and Itachi saying that he failed. first of all, Kakashi has only been shown using Kamui accurately a couple of times with out Narutos Chakara. Second, saying that you fail and what other see in you is different, Itachi only failed at keeping Sasuke from trying to take revenge. The only one he killed to do so, as far as the manga has come, is Danzo. In the end Itachi still accomplished his plan thanks to edo tensei. Sasuke could still turn on the allies but as of now he is keeping out of Konoha in respects for his older Brothers wishes.
Before getting any chakra from Kurama Kakashi:
-used three raikiri on Haku, Zabuza and another swordsman
-fought off-screen for a long time (even went on a rampage), more likely than not using other jutsu as well
-halved his remaining chakra by creating a raiton bunshin
-used even more raikiri
-halved his remaining chakra again by creating a bunshin again (so he had less than 25% already)
-used another raikiri
-cast 6 kamui
-cast a doton wall
-use yet another raikiri
And then his chakra was restored for the first time during the war by Kurama.
Kakashi admits that he can't even defeat Itachi on his own.
Furthermore, the Itachi that you see there was a clone that only had about 30% of Itachi's power and couldn't even use MS-techs. Still, Kakashi needed the help of others to win.
This is a stupid thread. Itachi easily outclasses Kakashi.
1. Yup, Kakashi as he was more than half a manga ago admitted he wouldn't be able to defeat Itachi alone, BUT that he would be able to defeat him with Naruto from the beginning of the Shippuuden, who was at the time around low-jonin level.
2. Kakashi didn't know it was a clone, that's why he said he wouldn't be able to win alone. If he knew this Itachi was just a version with 30% of his chakra and not capable of using MS he would laugh in his face and then proceed to pulverize him.
The fact remains that:
-Sakura didn't do anything to Itachi and didn't even try - she just helped Naruto recover from genjutsu
-Chiyo - like Sakura
-Naruto - he was caught in a genjutsu on the beginning of the fight and the only thing he did was using Rasengan on trapped Itachi
-Kakashi - he did the whole fighting - you could see, after Naruto recovered from genjutsu, that Kakashi was jumping away from Itachi, who was shown in a fighting stance. They have obviously been battling while Naruto was screaming and using Rasengan in the air.
After that it was still Kakashi VS Itachi fight - Itachi tried to attack Kakashi with a katon, but Kakashi used it to his advantage and outsmarted Itachi with a clone. Itachi himself admitted Kakashi's timing was too perfect for him to notice anything.
At this point, when Itachi was immobilized by Kakashi's clone, Kakashi could have just used raikiri to finish him off instead of sending Naruto. He did it only to conserve his own chakra, since this was the beginning of a long mission.
All in all, it was pretty much base Kakashi vs base Itachi, and base Kakashi has won.
And now just remember it was Kakashi from the beginning of Shippuuden. The one whose 3 kamui in a row resulted in him being hospitalized for a week.
Current Kakashi can use 6 kamui with less than 25% of chakra. If you want me to say it more clearly:
Current Kakashi on full chakra can use more or less 24 kamui + a bunch of other jutsu.
