Once again, Koto Amatsukami only works on Itachi's MS, so it wouldn't mean a thing anyways

he made it like that so that it works on sasuke so he becomes good, he can actually use it on anyone it is the ultimate genjutsu that takes over ppl without them noticing.

IS D RINNEGAN UNBEATABLE?!! NOOOOO!!!! Nothing and I repeat NOTHING can counter Koto Amatsukami. It doesn't require Eye contact since Danzo used it in d summit with his bandage covered. The Narutowikia says so too. It's weakness is that it can be done only once in 10 yrs

You sir need to pay more attention to my post, I never said it was unbeatable, nagato is dead, I'm saying Itachi had the eye rigged to go off only infront of his MS, He would't waste it in a fight, he was saving it for something else

Pls I have 2 clerify dis now.
Hearing Genjutsu is still genjutsu. Visual genjutsu is still under genjutsu n so is Finger genjutsu. People say d Rinnegan is IMMUNE 2 visual genjutsu with no facts 2 back it up but what of Itachi's Finger genjutsu? Who knows Itachi may even hav ASS genjutsu.

THERE IS 1 IMPORTANT THING I WUD WANT 2 POINT OUT.
D genjutsu Itachi casted upon Naruto when they met on their way 2 save Gaara was NOT Tsukuyomi. It was Itachi's NORMAL GENJUTSU. I know dis cos Itachi's eye's never showed Mangekyou Sharingan during that fight. He even said he cudn't activate MS at that time.

That was only 30% of Itachi's chakra. So if disrupting ur chakra flow(with someone as much chakra as Naruto) cudn't work on a NORMAL GENJUTSU how cud someone disrupt his chakra 2 counter TSUKUYOMI? It's not possible even with d Rinnegan.

It is stated in d manga that Itachi's Tsukuyomi can ONLY BE BROKEN BY HIS OWN FLESH AND BLOOD(Meaning Sasuke). And Sasuke fulfilled that statement when they fought. Zetsu said he cudn't believe that SASUKE BROKE TSUKUYOMI.

I hope dis thread has been useful 2 those still arguing about Itachi vs Nagato. Please read ur manga 2 be sure about mt facts n correct me where I am wrong. Thank You.


1. Tsukuyomi- Itachi's strength is genjutsu, Nagato's weakness is genjutsu. Since Jiraiya got him with genjutsu I'm sure Itachi wud easily get him since he has d strongest genjutsu in d narutoverse. D reason why Itachi didn't bother in using Tsukuyomi is cos there's no point in wasting ur chakra on someone who cannot die.

2. Amateratsu- As seen in d last chapter Itachi already burned Nagato's hands b4 he cud do anything 2 counter it but due 2 d fact dat Nagato is an Edo Tensei it cud not destroy his hands so it regenerated back so he cud repelled it.

3. Totsuka Blade- Seals Nagato's soul. Many ppl say Itachi sealed Nagato but didn't kill him. Pls can u kill an Edo Tensei? Itachi knew d only way 2 kill him was by sealing him so dat's why he did.

4. Yata Mirror- It DEFLECTS ALL THINGS including Shinra Tensei.

5. Yasaka's Magatama- Itachi's strongest long range attack was capable of destroying Chikudan Tensei. 1 or 3 Yasaka's Magatamas wud destroy Chikudan Tensei. D reason why Itachi told all of them 2 contribute was due 2 d fact dat he was saving his chakra 4 future battles in d war. What if d person controllin Nagato sends someone stronger than Nagato 2 fight him immediately afta dis fight? Itachi is smart. He thought far ahead.

6. Smartness- I don't think anyone, even d most biased Nagato fan in Naruto wud oppose 2 d fact dat Itachi is smarter than Nagato

Great points u made. But now listen carefully and without being biased. I agree with you bout the genjutsu part that it wud work on him. But remember that Nagato isnt really fighting him, its the Pain and getting 1 path under a genjutsu wont do everything, even if Itachi kills the path he wud be brought back soon. Now for your other points.

1. I already told you bout Tsukyomi and know that its not an easy jutsu to get ppl in and even if he does it will only be on 1 path and the path wud soon be back and it wud cause Itachi a lot of chakra.

2. Yes amatarasu burned him but he wud just use shinra tensei to get it off and even tho he wud be hurt he wont be dead and even if he wud that again will be just 1 path.

3. I admit bout this too but Pain cud use shinra tensei to push back the blade

4. yes it does but Pain wud just use this as a defensive method then

5. Strong attack but it wud not destroy all paths and paths keep coming back and maybe shinra tensei wud push that back as well

6. Yes Itachi is smarter but lacks chakra and the kind of power, Nagato's powers are extreme if you think bout it, what kind of human can fly, destroy villages with one attack, bring ppl back to life, etc.

So you see in the end Itachi's chakra wud run out and wud be killed by Pain, i like Itachi better too but i dont see how he wud beat Pain anymore.

Itachi can just kill d Naraka path first then kill d others one by one until he finds Nagato. Please don't ever make a thread as biased as dis again. I know u want Nagato 2 win but u don't have 2 make it that obvious.

SUSANOO-susanoo is labeled ninjutsu and doujutsu. its a ninjutsu produced by doujtsu. it is materialization of itachi's chakra therefore it can be absorbed. the only reason nagato didnt do it in manga was becuz he wasnt close enough.

TSUKOYOMI-affects the chakra in the targeted person's brain with eye contact. he wud be using it on dead peoples brain. he wud shortly disable control of 1 body but the others wud already be attacking so its dumb 2 use seeing as nagato can see out of all other bodies and doesnt have 2 look at itachi with his own body.

AMATERASU-Amaterasu doesnt burn intsantly.nagato can force it off with gravity techniques(pull it off-and use 4 is own attack lol) and revive a body b4 it is comsumed. Plus he can sense th pressure of it b4 its used.

dude this is a hypothetical fight nagato cannot even fight alongside his paths that has not been shown. itachi rigged it work on sasuke he can use it on others too like how danzo can use it.

Not really and i dont care who wins but how wud Itachi figure out that it is the Naraka path and even if he does, remember the Naraka path can be summoned over and over and Itachi wont just be able to kill it. Your the one making no sense, Itachi wud jus kill and kill until they all dead lol and Nagato is just gonna stand there??!! And does Itachi have infinite chakra??
