i think this thread was about itachi's greatness as shinobi which as not equal

Itachi wasn't even that great a shinobi anyway.

He had Shisu's eye which means he had Kotoamatsukami(or however it's spelt) would it not make more sense for him to place the ringleader of the Uchiha under it and force him to make the Uchiha change their ideals?
But no, he kills his whole family, his whole clan inlcuding children and he tortures his brother in to being a psycopath in the hopes that he kills him some day rather than actually helping the shinobi world in any decent way.

He never knew Sasuke would befriend Naruto yet told Sasuke to kill his best friend, he almost ended the series because of that.
Imagine Naruto died way back in part one, no more Naruto, lol.

He also waits way longer than any normal person would to ensure that Sasuke be made good(placing Shisui's eye in Naruto to be used on Sasuke) by that point pretty much everyone hated Sasuke and would have killed him even if he decided he was a good guy.


So how is Itachi a good shinobi?
And no "because I like him the most" is not a viable answer.

Itachi is greater than many and so Minato... Minato's been never defeated by a Uchiha and we don't know how he would deal with a user like Itachi but one thing we know is that given any situation, Minato had never failed to handle it...

I have reasons because when there is a fight between Minato and Itachi happened sur Minato will use flying thunder god technique to come before him and stab him with kunai or use rasengan. Then from itachi's bod crows will appear.It meant that Minato is now under Itachi's genjutsu. Itachi's tusukyomi is unique because it can controll time so even if Minato stay in a few seconds in illusion the damage would hace been done.This is not only for Minato but for other ninjas too.He can seal his enemy using totsuka sword in susano. Same for Madara[Indicating that I am not against Minato].
Then you will say he can't defeat so6p. But I didn't consider him as a ninja since he is a god like character.

First off Obito was trained by Madara himself, had both Senju/Uchiha DNA, knowledge on Minato (was his student) and sharingan was strong enough to control the tailed beast with only 3 tomoes and Itachi said himself you need the MS to control the tailed beasts so Obito then Sharingan is stronger than Itachi's at 18-21. Second Minato thought Tobi was Madara at first from what he was capable of doing) yet fought him head on knowing Madara's reputation of being the strongest Uchiha. Did he fear being put under a genjutsu from someone who could be Madara and have genjutsu strong enough to control the nine tails? No he took him head on, genjutsus can be broken and Itachi Tsukuyomi is only a second to all others, Itachi and the other one are both in the jutsu for the amount of time Itachi want or until it's broken as shown in Sasuke vs. Itachi's fight. Minato is to fast to be hit by Amaterasu or Sasunoo.

Itachi said himself that him, Kisame and Jiraiya would all die if they fought (pre-timeskip) and i know some would say he was a good guy and didn't want to kill of Konoha's strongest at the time but then i'll say you fail to realize that Kisame didn't trust Itachi, only respected. If he thought something wasn't true then he would do what he wants or report Itachi to Pain and the others in their meet were there update each other. Minato is more feared than Jiraiya in the aspect of Hiruzen giving Naruto his mom's last name instead of Minato's in fear of Minato's enemies going after him. And might i remind you the Uzumaki clan was nearly wiped out because they were feared by many because of their sealing jutsus which Minato also knew yet Hiruzen thought Uzumaki was the safer last name to go with.

Also in the Naruto/Bee vs Itachi/Nagato, Naruto did not use his speed people. After using it on the 4th Raikage he doesn't use it until he goes BM against Tobi. Wow thought that was obvious but saw someone use that saying Itachi is as fast when he's not.

I agree that Totsuka no Tsurugi solos almost everyone, possibly even Madara in his Edo form, unless he always has a wood clone backing him up. But you are underestimating Minato far too much, do you really think that the fastest person in the NV would get stabbed by a sword that big, granted Susanoo is extremely fast, but it isn't faster than a flash!

obito got pwned though. that wasnt a fight. didnt do anything. he had an op jutsus with an opponent with no intel on his jutsu and still lost . Itachi = Minato but all in all itachi wins high difficulty
