Shouldn't the point of this thread be to justify the fact that Itachi is a great shinobi? Like maybe list all the things that make him great? Instead, by making this a Itachi vs Minato fight, you've just gone and done the opposite. There are a lot of Itachi's attacks that Minato can dodge fairly easily. I'm not even a Minato fanboy, and I know that this fight just doesn't really work well for Itachi.
Firstly, stop taking feats like Itachi's clones and claiming that he can produce them faster than Minato can make attacks, because it's unrealistic and just not true. Minato is faster than Amaterasu (if you consider the fact that the raikage nearly dodged sasuke's enton from close-mid range) and despite the power of Totsuka Sword, it is not fast enough to seal Minato either. With regards to Yata Mirror, looking at the manga, it seems that it only covers the front of Susano'o and resembles a shield, making him vulnerable to attacks from behind, below and inside Susano'o itself. Its not a certainty whether Minato can actually break Susano'o, but what we do know is that it puts a strain on Itachi's eyes and he can't maintain it for an unlimited amount of time.
The only thing that may be able to make Itachi win this fight is his prowess with genjutsu. Fair enough, i'll admit that Tsukyomi might be a key factor in this fight and will give Itachi the edge, but it's still questionable whether Itachi will be able to cast a genjutsu quick enough to trap Minato. I just don't know.
If you match up their attributes properly then you'll find that genjutsu and the defence granted by susano'o are really the only things that give Itachi a slight advantage, but overall, Minato has the speed to overpower him.
It doesn't matter though, because if someone likes a character, it's pretty damm hard to convince them that they can actually lose sometimes...
