Yes, I do. I know what I'm talking about. For a big decision like that the councilmen and the Hokage probably have to decide together. If the councilmen out voted the Hokage, which they did, there wasn't much he could do.

And I don't get how the Hashirama could be related to this. Sure, he taught Sarutobi, and he fought Madara, wouldn't he be to blame as well? He could have made Madara a co-kage, or on the council, right?

The Uchiha's had other choices besides war, but they didn't take those other choices.

They could of slowly gained the leaf's trust back, but they didn't

I believe we answered your question. They separated them from the village so they could keep an eye on them. The elders thought that if the Uchiha's were behind the Kyuubi attack then they were still a threat to the village.

And don't you think Hiruzen tried that? The Uchiha's were beyond negotiations, I said that a few times already. The Uchiha's wouldn't talk, and Hiruzen wanted to talk to them.

Also if he did this, This would expose Itachi as the Spy for the village.

If words could of stopped this, He would of done it, Hiruzen/Danzo and itachi all knew this had gone beyond mere words.

Not all the village segregated them, They could of easily cleared this matter up and Slowly Regained the leafs trust.
Plus there are only Two ways to controll the Kyuubi, Hashirama's wood or Sharingan Genjutsu, Since hashirama is dead you figure it out.

Hiruzen would of listened to them if they wanted to Argue the matter of the kyuubi attack, but they didn't want to talk about it.
