Is sarutobi equally to blame for the Uchiha Genocide

Ok so, Hiruzen Sarutobi was the Hokage during the Uchiha massacre. And he knew about Danzo's Evil scheme. Yet he did nothing but let Danzo be part of the top Village leaders. Now what kind of Hokage does that??? See now this is basically the Madara vs Hashirama scenario... When hashirama was Hokage he made all the choices. BUT HIRUZEN letted his "friends" do whatever they want.


I find Sarutobi guilty for being a wimpy hokage. And not punishing Danzo.

The uchiha DID make up part of the gov't, the entire police force actually, they would have rebelled anyway and killed a lot more people

Hiruzen should have done absolutely everything in his power and more to prevent the Uchiha genocide if he truly believed there was another way.

No no no. The Hokage has the last word on all matters. The council exists to give him advice and help him make decisions. It's like what Tsunade did with the council when they tried to tell her that Naruto should be holed up. Hiruzen is not to be blamed. He wanted to talk and be diplomatic. If anyone should be blamed it should be Danzo. Yes he saved the village but he didn't give diplomacy a chance. There is a reason why he wasn't chosen. He's too quick to pull the trigger. In this case, Yes it was right to kill the whole clan.

The uchiha's would of most likely killed alot of People if their plan went ahead, Plus the whole fire country would of been in danger.
