Those who have not suffered cannot understand the concept of IT if you were put in let's say Africa and suffered like see your mom shot get your breast cut off raped become a child soldier watch as tons of people are massacred etc. you would want the it but like

Nagato said about pain

Those who haven't overcome depression are unable to understand why it is a bad thing for humanity.

Seems alot of people are against the OP on this one, not unexpected at all. People who were born in rich and well-off homes and have not lost alot of important things/people in life naturally would be against this idea. And people who are poor or have been through horrors like rape, crippling accidents, etc etc would naturally be more agreeable to the idea of infinite tsukiyomi. Even in the bible it was said that it will be extremely difficult for a rich man to inherit the kingdom of heaven, this is precisely the reason, well-off people enjoy this life and consider it to be heaven already, so they neglect God and in fact some even ridicule the very idea of a diety as a result, and ofcourse the idea of heaven. This is why Obito/Pein/Madara wanted to start a war before initiating their plan, they knew that the corrupt and well-off people would never accept the idea, so they wanted them to feel that pain of loss and suffering like the others did and then lets see if you still think the plan is crap or not. But anyway yeah I'm not sure if there's a right or wrong answer for this question, I think it mainly depends on how your life is at this point in time and from the day you were born, as people completely lack objectivity and will make a ruling based on their personal circumstance and preference without considering others

This is not true at all. It is only people who were able to overcome their depression or press forward through their pain who truly understand. Depressed people are simply the opposite extreme to the privileged.

You want some kind of fairy tale utopia, but life doesn't work like that. It's called manning the hell up and accepting it, not living in some illusion where you can have everything your way.
Life is hard I don't see a problem with the plan when it comes down to it I man up and deal with my problems but what's the problem with a world where you don't have to do that,? It doesn't make you a coward imo to want to live a life of only peace and happiness real life is what you believe it to be

Argument of a child, accusing people of only being against because they have had good lives.

Um, i like my life. it hasnt been perfect. theres been more downs than up but u gotta think about the other 7 billion people here too. Sure theres alot of us who would throw away everything so that a limited imperfection could become a eternal perfection, however, there are alot of more fortunate people who happened to luck out and get close or close enough to it that they shudder at just the thought. like say bill gates. im sure hed try to stop u.

It's not that at all, but my life is never right, so I can understand the meaning of the IT.

Life is like a poker game. It's not about playing with a perfect hand, but making the best out of the sh*tty hand that you've got. A dream is nothing but a dream. It's unreal, there are no accomplishments, no achievements, nothing but sleep. It's for cowards. No one will knock you down harder than life, I don't care how tough you are. But life isn't about how many times you get hit, or dodge a hit. It's about how hard you can get hit, get the f*ck back up, and keep on going. Thats how winning is done.

you're completely wrong. because a person that's suicidal, if that's what they want, that's what they'll get in I.T. as well... just like terrorists or dictators or those war lords that turn children into killers will do the same thing in I.T.... actually even in a worse and more magnified scale, if they had 300 child soldiers, in I.T. they'll have a 1,000,000 of them...
what makes you think that everyone is lovey dovey just because they're in I.T.?
people that think so are completely blind and are not getting the real reason why we chose to actually be in this life, through all the different experiences, born into or lived through life.

I actually like his argument. I live an okay life. Nothing too fancy and rich, but I wouldn't call myself poor. When I'm hungry I eat, when I'm tired I sleep, when I'm bored I watch TV. I have it better than most people, and I also don't live on government funding such as food stamps, or live in project buildings. Now I have friends who are the opposite in fact. Their parents need government funding, they live in projects, sometimes instead of a nice dinner to eat, they have to eat take out that doesn't even fill them up. And I know them and I know that they would be against I/T. They're the type of people who always want to make things happen themselves. It's something called goals, and ambition. No one promised or guaranteed you that life is gonna be sugar and rainbows, sometimes you have to fight, or deal with it, and that's the cold harsh truth OP, sorry. But yea saw, the point of my reply is to back up your comment. There are people who aren't well off who would be against this plan. Such as Naruto and Sasuke.

Naruto and Sasuke aren't well off and they're against I/T. In fact they want to become leaders of their village to make things better in REAL LIFE

People are suicidal because they're are depressed. They're depressed because they're dealing with problems in life. In I/T those problems go away
