obviously I'd rather be blind.

I may not be able to see the external world if i'm blind, but i'll at least be able to interact with it, my loved ones, family friends, other senient life forms, and know it's all real rather than be isolated from everyone and everything that could possibly be of any intrinsic value other than myself for all eternity.

Oh really, then why did Kakashi who had an even more miserable life do everything in his power to stop it?

IT is a foolish not to mention childish way out for people who can't handle reality.

It strips the world of its ability to develop and change, human civilization changes as time progresses and new ideas are born, new technologies are created, science improves.

Also it takes away the ability to enjoy good things, the reason people enjoy the good moments in life are because there are bad moments, not to mention that the whole concept of a dream requires there to be hardship in life.

A dream is something people want to achieve that requires hardship and work, it is born from a desire to go beyond what one already has. If that dream is not earned then that dream becomes meaningless.

IT strips one of their ability to develop and grow, to learn and get stronger, development requires hardship and work.

In the context of naruto, no. Because all that fighting and all the sacrifices would have been for nothing. It would be one big lie. In real life I think you can never be truly content with what you have. Humans are greedy so they want more and more. if there was an option to enter IT then I'm all for it but they shouldn't drag everyone in the world with them. So yes IT for individuals not for everyone in the world. Yes I would live in IT provided I'm the exact same person I was as I'm in real life.

So people who commit suicide are foolish and childish? Offensive, much? We don't much about his father's past. Should the Narutoverse to let people take their own lives? It is the best solution.

You know the Narutoverse weapons to destroy civilization, right? IT could have stopped that. The verse is African third world country bad. If not worse.

-Bloody Mist

As far as I'm concerned, anyone that hasn't experienced enough pain to look down on those that do, such as the depressed, because if they had experienced that pain, they'd be less inconsiderate.

People are not naturally compassionate, I know firsthand, they need to experience hardships to build compassion for other people, and, most extremely depressed people don't lash out, they just die.

People commit suicide because. They gave up and things became too tough for them to handle or religious occult. The people that off themselves usually do it simply put... easy way out. But thing is. In life... it's easy to take the easy way out
