The tree keeps people alive, remember? Madara was living off the power of the Gedo Mazo to keep himself from dying.

There would be no future though. It would just be the same generation living in their illusions for eternity.

If you agree you are a psychopathic. Along with that... little punks .. a psychopathic dictator. Stuff gets hard you ready to escape? The hardships is What makes us human. It's What life is. Don't like it? I'm sorry it's the only life you got unless you're going to heaven to meet Jesus

Well, why suffer pointlessly? What, to prove you're "human"? That's masochistic, what maniac wouldn't take paradise when it's practically handed to them?

Do you actually believe that a world in which everything happens in accordance to your own will is paradise? Think about the ramification of living in such a world would be and what you'd have to give up in order to do so.

And that's assuming that the world is real, and not a lie like the matrix or mugen tsukuyomi.

What would be bad about it?

Dude that's just ****ed up. I mean that's what reality is all about! Facing your problems, not running from them and just live in a dreams until you get your brain sucked up by a tree. And free-will is also part of this!

I hope you know you're talking about revelations. Read the old and new testament. What you're. Saying is when Lucifer rises and. Talks blasphemy saying he is the saviour and will save everyone and make life a paradise.. you are going to accept. Come on now we are in revelations right now

First off, I'm an atheist, second, that had close to nothing to do with what I actually said...

Living happily and without the future generation probably destroying itself.

....Getting everything I ever wanted, everything that could make me happy? No, not really.
Why do you believe mugen tsukuyomi = getting everything you ever wanted or everything that could ever make you happy?

Because that's what the stated goal is and that was what we were shown was happening.

The stated goal has nothing to do with the actual outcome of the jutsu.
How has the manga shown MT giving people everything that could make them happy?
