Another Fact: Itachi never wanted to kill Kakashi or Sasuke. If we are talking about a fight to death guess what, hes going to want to kill that person, Tsunade isnt surviving and MS attack from Itachi.

Another Fact: Guy is the only character in the entire Narutoverse to say he has trained himself in a way to not look at the Sharingan. No one else can say they did. With manga scans proving that Guy said Tsunade is a league above him, you should also provide scans of Tsunade being able to keep up with Guy's speed, which I dont believe you will find.

He's coupled with some of the greatest Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu feats we've ever seen. Sparring with a KCM Naruto is nothing to shake a stick at (He was Edo, but that has no impact on Taijutsu skill).

Don't even get me started on his techniques. Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susano'o, Wide Array of Fire Style, Finger Genjutsu... Dude even put Orochimaru in a Genjutsu, and he wasn't even looking at him.

All those techniques coupled with his intelligence is enough to put him at mid-high Kage Level.

And I haven't even included his true haxness yet- Yata Mirror and Totsuka Blade.

Sure, Itachi has low stamina. But in a one-on-one fight, an opponent isn't getting past Yata Mirror. Itachi fought Sasuke for close to 15-20 minutes of non-stop fighting. Itachi only needs 5 with Susano'o up to formulate a plan and use his wide array of jutsu to take out his opponent.

Itachi is truly over-powered, and higher than Kage level. I have no doubt in my mind he could contend with the likes of Hashirama- He wouldn't beat him, but he would give him a good fight.

You guys need to realize by now, that Kishimoto had set up the Kages as the strongest shinobi produced by that specific village. (Excluding the main antagonists and the protagonist)

Itachi, Danzo, Jiraiya, Kakashi, and so on..... are all below the 5 Hokage. Hell even Guy stated that he isn't on Hokage level, when he said the 4 red suns barrier requires 4 Hokage level ninjas.

Manga clearly indicates by now that Killer B is stronger than A but why is A the Raikage? Simple, Leadership qualities. The Amount of respect and leadership A claims over his constituents is unrivaled atleast in Kumogakure alone.
Same analogy can be applied why J-man turned down the title of Hokage and preferred Tsunade instead and why Hiruzen shaped Orochimaru to be the next hokage only to change his mind and chose Minato as his successor instead.

I don't normally do top ten lists, but your post is contradictory. You claim he's getting blitzed by nobody but have him 8th or 9th? lol, so you think that the other shinobi you have ahead of him are all only slightly ahead? There is a gulf in class between Itachi and a few.

What does being a new member mean exactly? How does that affect my interpretation of the manga. He was hyped as a prodigious kid (as a few others have been), and was claimed to have been a "good" shinobi (debatable). He served his purpose and then died. Then he came back to serve a further purpose of augmenting Sasuke's character development.

Nothing extraordinary about him.
