Everyone except you thinks 7 Gate Gai > Kakashi so only one dreaming is you.
7 Gate Gai performance against JJ Madara (and Kisame too) is something Kakashi can only dream about.

Because Kakashi definitely relies on genjutsu on a usual basis. Because Kakashi can definitely track and physically keep up with 7G Gai to draw eye contact in CQC. Because Gai definitely would look right into his eyes despite explaining how he fights sharingan users back in part one. Laughable, per usual.
On a relevant note, Kamui at it's full potential is the single most haxxed jutsu outside of god tier. With that being said, the winner of this match is very circumstantial imo. If Kakashi pulls out MS before Gai goes 7G, it's Kamui GG. If Kakashi allows Gai to go 7G and in full movement speed, Kakashi is getting obliterated.

Gai was in genjutsu before he even activated 7 gates.
In any realistic scenario anyways, Gai dies before he even activates 7 gates. Kamui GG.
In part 1 Kisame wasn't allowed to fight Master Kakashi, Itachi told him to sit down for a reason.
Kakashi only fights the real threat Itachi, no time to waste on Kisame. Gai gets leftovers.

In a realistic scenario, Gai is never being caught in genjutsu by Kakashi at any point of the fight.
If Kakashi pulls out MS before Gai's 7G then I 100% agree. Kamui GG.

When JJ Madara shot TSB on Obito and Kakashi , they combined their Kamui making it 2 times faster and it barely made it in time. Gai saved Kakashi from TSB with some gate (Below 7 gate ).
While Madara TSB were traveling to Kakashi and Obito Kamui was warping Obito while Gai :
- Had to make mental reaction
- using high speed to reach Kakashi
- grab him and save him from TSB.
If he can do this than he can react to Kakashi Kamui which would be 2 times slower.
Gai can react on Kamui and evade it.

Obito was carrying Bijuu inside of him, which slowed his Kamui warp. Just like how he couldn't use Kamui at all as a Juubi Jin. So that's the reason why Kamui was shown to be so slow in that instance. Gai has to be in 7G and remain in top travelling speed so that Kakashi can't physically follow his movements to Kamui snipe him. It's the only way of victory.

Nope. BSM Naruto,Tobirama,Minato,Obito should easily be able to react to him.
Im not using that logic am using the logic that a 30% Kisame clone almost reacted to a 6th gate Gai speedblitz kick. Kakashi could easily react to something on that level.

That was like his first time using Kamui stop with the nonsense plus Deidara was in the air at a distance while flying.
Cool. Then Kakashi warping Naruto so fast that he tricked Obito, warping susano arrows, warping himself, kunais, the gedo mazo's arm... is all irrelevant since he failed to warp an akatsuki member in his first attempt.

False. Gai allowed Kisame to swing first, then Gai proceeded to kick. Gai's kick was so fast that Kisame couldn't complete his thought process, never mind ever physically reacting. Kakashi is not doing well against 6G Gai in CQC, his punches and kicks are for too fast. His only way of winning is Kamui before Gai can get within close quarters with the 6th or 7th gated activated.

This is manga buddy, any shinobi can be nerfed to match anyone. I can assure you if gai was is village at the time of pain's attack, he would have been fodderized by pain as well. Since naruto had to shine. Every character exists for plot and main character's sake. So it's pointless to think any different. How was madara able to match hashirama till last battle and even in last battle. A simple mokujin is enough to stop PS. Imagine if hashirama makes clones and create 5 more. Madara would get destroyed. But still somehow he matched him.

that means his reflexes are fast enough to react on 6 gate . but saying his movement speed is equall to 6 gates is nonsense.
