Just cuz she is shocked by how strong her grandfather had to be doesnt mean he was stronger thanhiruzen she prolly always thought hiruzen was stronger and now she sees her grandfather was really strong too.

Hashi fought madara and not edo madara however even with the rinnegan, the 1st cells, and perfect susano edo madara has never came out and said that he could beat hashi that says something. He is saying 5 people are nowhere near a challenge one man is. Until hiruzen shows me something more impressive myself and a lot of other people will believe hashi>hiruzen. Btw reaper death seal does not equal a win it is the equivelent of deidara blowing himself up and doesn't prove that you are stronger.

as edos they were already at an advantage so if they were to face in their primes without edo hiruzen would most likely win because he is aware of his teacher's weaknesses while they didn't see him mature so their knowledge would be limited xd

Kishimoto says it himself, the only person who could stop Madara is Hashirama. He didn't say Hiruzen right? Hashirama was the only force. He probably made a mistake at the beginning saying that Hiruzen was the greatest. I mean if Hiruzen was supposed to be the strongest, then the time periods and everything would be mixed up. Thats why Hashirama was supposed to be the best in my opinion. Case closed.

You have a point, but you forgot to think about one fact-Madara was not alive to see Sandaime in action. However I do agree that Hashirama>Sandaime
