You know, you rightfully adverse people for being blatantly biased against Sakura but lately you don't seem oozing objectivity and fairness in judgement either. I don't understand why you must jump at every occasion in which someone compliments Hinata, really. You too realize that isn't a good way to advocate for Sakura, don't you?

I adverse anybody for being biased. Doesn't matter who the character is. If I disagree with somebody and think they're wrong, I'm going to comment on it.

Then you really think that all there is to say about Hinata's actions at that time is that it was a stupid irresponsible suicide who selfishly put the existance of the Leaf Village at risk?

I find this to be a rather harsh judgement actually.

Pain didn't want to kill Naruto, he was trying to capture him. Logic, use it.

Minato was the one that saved Naruto and he was lucky that Kuuybi didn't killed everybody along with Pain which realistically would of happened.

No he wanted to extract Kyubi from Naruto, and possibly would not have let Naruto walk back home. After that he would have destroyed or conquered the world.

Have a brain? use it with logic too.

Maybye call other people and form a plan instead of suicide jumping in?

LoL..... and give Pein the chance to incapacitate Naruto and wisk him off to a unknown location? Plus mini Katsuyu slugs were reporting to everyone and no on seemed ready to come and help Naruto because of an dumb order.

Have you noticed that I am a hypocrite for replying to this thread even though I don't a give a Lucky Charms about that?
JK

Anyways: Hinata seems to be arguably more popular in comparison to Sakura. It's probably her appearance and personality and the Taijutsu style appeal.

It also seems to be more appealing because Hinata's appearance and personality (before anyway) because she seems to be metaphorically and literally the opposite of Erza Scarlet.

Naruto would've died from the kyuubi being forcefully extracted from him.

Plus pain has already captured the kyuubi in CT, Yes it was breaking free but had minato not of stepped in pain would've made it bigger to contain the kyuubi.
With naruto out of the way Pain could of simply stomped what was left of leaf shinobi or simply leave them in their ruined village.

have you noticed in amv's online that Hinata is pitted alongside other amazing heroines like Erza scarlett? People really like it when a Heroine is willing to give her life to save the main hero.
-
why is that a minor character like hinata(albiet a astounding one) is given so much respect?

Because she isn't a minor character:

Her role has been well defined by the relationship of Yin and Yang, and as this arc draws to a close and the next arc begins; the role Hinata was originally intended to fill will move into the foreground.

Not really. I can understand why she did it but it was still a suicide that put Naruto and the village at danger. What did she think she could of accomplished? She could of at least got back up and got Shikamaru to form some sort of plan.

@bold; please don't get butthurt when replying to me :|

I'm well aware of this. Pain did not want to kill Naruto right on the spot. He needed to keep him alive and bring him to the Akaksuki base to extract the kuuybi from him.

Hinata would be better off getting back up and forming a plan instead of mindlessly jumping in by herself.

Naruto would've died from the kyuubi being forcefully extracted from him.

Same as above.

She had no idea of Naruto being the kyubi host which means she couldn't know that Pain wouldn't kill him nor that Naruto had a power that could endanger the leaf. In fact all she know was that the boy he loved was being pummeled and she jumped on the ground to take a pummel beside him. To die along with him if it came to that.

True, it's not a particularly smart conduct nor anything close to an effective strategy but she still had one of her best moments at that time. She turned out as courageous, loving and passionate, quite a step forward for someone who lacked even the courage to contradict his father.

Sorry my friend but I can't shake the feeling that if Sakura had been doing the same thing you'd express a different judgement.

I'm pretty sure everyone in the villiage knows Naruto has the kuuybi? I remember someone telling her as a child.

Very off topic but; Believe it or not, if it was Sakura who did it I would of expressed the same opinion. That would of been out of character anyway..

My my why should I be butthurt when I was not the person who was using faulty logic and incomplete analysis and got reminded of that.

I'm well aware of this. Pain did not want to kill Naruto right on the spot. He needed to keep him alive and bring him to the Akaksuki base to extract the kuuybi from him.

............ and then kill him for knowing perhaps. Then perhaps destroy the world.

Hinata would be better off getting back up and forming a plan instead of mindlessly jumping in by herself.

Still better than just sitting around. Also as far as I am aware there was very few uninjured seniors left and every thing was in disarray. So btw time people was organized and a plan was formed pein might have disappeared with Naruto. Also realistically speaking nothing short of plot no jutsu wld have defeated deva path, let alone the Seventh Path and Konan.

@bold; No. You diagree with me. It's only a matter of opinion and don't think yours is fact.

I see you have no valid points to disprove my argument apart from making petty excuses.

I don't think you understand.

There. Was. No. Time.

When Pain outstretched his hand and said "Time to go." That was the last possible second. They had no capability to track Pain once he left. They had no way of reaching Naruto afterward.

She was the only one who saw how imminent Naruto's abduction was and did what was necessary to intervene.

Honestly, I don't even know why I try, anymore. You're so loose after all the other poundings that it's not even enjoyable, anymore.

And where was this Akatsuki base?

Who was going to track Pain to find out where he went?

If Naruto couldn't defeat Pain, who was going to go recover Naruto from Pain?

Remember - half the shinobi force was dead. It was a whole-sale slaughter.

Even if they could miraculously track the dude who showed up and nuked their village to a crater... the only 'teams' they had to recover Naruto had already been thoroughly ravaged by Pain's attempt to draw Naruto out (Pain was playing).

Not to mention, the Akatsuki always work in twos. Since this Pain was 'one' ... a mysterious 'two' (Konan) had to be in the wings, fresh, and as dangerous as someone like Itachi.

Waiting was a horrible idea. If Pain was to be defeated - it had to be there, and it had to be while Naruto was only pinned (rather than having the life sucked out of him).

Your sticking up for someone who blatantly insults someone during a discussion? Well, Ok.

I understand what her intentions like you mentioned, but it was still a very high risk move that would of killed all the villiagers and Naruto without Minato and the plot.

Hinata would be better off getting back up and forming a plan instead of mindlessly jumping in by herself.

Help wouldn't of changed a thing, the end result would've been the same (Naruto going kyuubi). All that would change is Deva paths ownage count.
The only people available were fodders, Most of the higher ranks were dead/injured or out of the village.

Thats even if the others would of went with her, They might of stopped her because naruto told them not to get involved.

Then u disagree that Pein would not have eventually killed Naruto after running off with him for extraction??? Also read Aim64c for better ..... er.... 'excuses' as u term it.

FYI There was only one person in the village that could have stopped pein and it was Naruto himself, the rest of them combined would not have mattered shit.

It's funny how people bash me and say, "you got owned" when all I'm doing is expressing my opinion on the situation Lol

Hinata is the Hero(Naruto) Soul Mate the one who response to His needs without asking. She like Naruto started as the village rejects the ones who would never amount to nothing Naruto did not believed in that and keep pushing Himself to be better Hinata saw this and keep pushing Herself too.Naruto's will to prove Himself inspired Hinata to improve Herself too. So that at this time they become two Hearth in one mind, they represent the yin and the yang of existence.

If not for minato, The kyuubi would of been contained in Chibaku tensei. So no one else would of died at least not from the kyuubi, unless pain wanted to kill the rest.

It at least would of been better if they had some sort of a plan..

A plan? that wouldn't change anything, You saw Kakashi/Choji/choza and a squad of fodder all fail to defeat deva path even with kakashi's tactical ability, yet you suggest a bunch of chunin so be able to accomplish anything?. Apart from adding to the death count.

Well three possible scenario if Hinata went and got help and came out with a plan:

1. By the time they gathered the people and came to help with a plan, they found pein had disappeared with Naruto and despite their efforts they could not find them again then..... *Bell of Doom Rings*

2. By the time they gathered the people and came to help with a plan, they found Pein had disappeared with Naruto and when they found him they got slaughtered.

3. By the time they gathered the people and came to help with a plan they got slaughtered.

Common Fact: More slaughter and possibility of Naruto not going on a rampage as Pein was intending to either knock Naruto cold or do some kind of porting when Hinata interrupted.

What would stop the Kuuybi from finishing off Hinata? she was lying right beside him. We all know what happens when you get near the Kuuybi above 4-tails.

I know it wouldn't of changed anything, it still would of been a more logical decision on Hinata's part.
