You're trying to use how the brain works in real life in relation to the manga, someone earlier had argued that if he was decapitated from his body, he shouldn't be able to speak because he needed lungs. Well he was able to talk, proving that real life body functions don't apply body functions to the anime.

You're applying real life the brains functions to the series, but exclude the lungs functions, which leads to flawed logic.

A brain will always be the brain. Lungs, heart all other organs but the brain is the most important, once that part is out everything else is in the body. Hidan just wont be able to do anything, he will be lifeless. The rod is stuck blocking all messages going out of the brain. It just will not go.

You obviously dont know who the brain works. You see the brain sends message all throughout the body so it can move. When the rod destroys that central core and no messages can go out, he wont be doing anything.

and the brain dies without oxygen. the cells sending the signals would have died without his lungs. thats the samething as having having a rod in his head. HIS WHOLE brain would be dead without his lungs.

you cant apply real world science/bio to a manga.

not to mention at this point hidans spinal cord was severed and all kakuzu did was place his head back on his body and signals still went through despite the spine being broken. again you cant apply real world science to this

You are just not understanding. You dont even have to look at real world logic. The rod is going into the brain and destroying that part that does everything, the rod is staying there. Its not even a brain anymore after the rod is stuffed in. Everything about said person is gone once the rod goes in.

The brain wont even know what it is anymore or what to do, it would just be flesh, it stops.

You keep apply real life logic to the anime, its stupid. The brain in Naruto is obviously not the brain we know in real life. If someone was decapitated in real life, they would die immediately, seeing how Hidan didn't, applying real life logic to the anime is stupid. If you want to keep bringing up the brain, you have to prove that the brain functions in the anime similarly to how it functions in real life. (like you said in your theory thread, false until proven to be true).

I can counter your arguement by saying Obito survived having the entirety of the right side of his body crushed including his brain, head, eyes, etc, but he was able to maintain speech, respiratory functions, hearing functions, organ functions, and a thought process. In reality, he would have been killed instantly, but somehow his eye survived the accident and after having half of his body (including the brain) replaced with white zetsu, he still retained all his memory.

This proves the Human anatomy is not the same as the human Anatomy in real life. And if you dare bring up the "brain" again without evidence, you'll discredit yourself.

ShiroT has a good point.

If his head was cut from his body, his brain shouldn't receive oxygen, therefor the brain rotting withing seconds.
That is based off real life.

A brain is a brain and once it's smashed no function would work, therefor death.
That is based off real life.

Hidan got his head separated from his body yet he was alive, which makes your point invalid. Showing that this isn't based off real life.

lets stop for a second.

the heart circulates blood throughout the body. without it, your cells die, your brain die. etc. hidan stabbed his heart. his blood didnt stop circulating.

Body needs oxygen. Without it all cells die again including the brain. His body was separated from a source of oxygen yet it operated like it still had oxygen. just like when his heart was pierced, which logically would stop it from working, yet his body operated like it was still getting blood.

All of these organs has been injured or separated from the body, and the body still operated the same without them. his heart pierced and blood still circulated. spinal cord separated and signals still went through. lungs separated and his brain still had oxygen. what makes you think piercing his brain will stop it from working if piercing his other organs did nothing at all

lol if anyone in the NV was decapitated and didnt have immortality, they would die immediately as well.

I have already showed you evidence. He is immortal, all the other organs dont matter but the brain still does, the brain will always be different. He had his head cut off and his body stopped moving but since his brain was still together and since he is immortal he was still able to function.

He is immortal as long as the brain is intact he will be fine but the brain is and always will be the central core. Nothing else. He doesnt need lungs or anything else aside from his brain to be intact.

He is still physically on the earth, he isnt surviving by being some spirit. The brain is still stopping and putting an end to his functions.

if your immortal you dont need your brain. IF his brain stopped working since he is immortal he would still be alive

1. You still have shown no evidence

2. The organs do matter, he was able to speak without using lungs

3. You keep using the real life logic to explain immortality

4. You're a Narutard

Where oh where is your evidence of Hidan being able to take a rod to head?

They obviously dont in Hidan's case since he is immortal.

I am not using real life logic, no one in real life is immortal but that it still stands that the brain is and always will be the core of all function.

I agree with your post. Without the brain, Hidan wouldn't die, but he'd become comatose. Since its an anime I do think Hidan would recover simply by someone else taking the rod out of his brain.

No Ej, that is edo tensei and it doesnt count. They are only moving because of their souls, they dont have brains.

Such a stupid statement. Of course you need a brain. Immortal or not.

please go look up the definition of immortality and come back. the definition is "never dieing". Since you want to apply real world to an anime. the real world definition of immortal is unable to die. Due to the real world definition of immortal, Hidan cant die even if sakura bashes his brains out. Do you still want to bring real world logic into this? Or can we go back to the anime logic.

The brain needs oxygen. FACT, sources VVV.

No lungs = No oxygen = No brain.

This is the real life logic.
The brain is and will always be the core of all function.

Tom has been sliced in half in Tom and Jerry.
Tom didn't die. Tom isn't immortal.

Yes Tom and Jerry is a cartoon and this is Anime/Manga, but both are drawn.
Bad example but worth it.

Where the hell in the anime did it say Edo tensei don't have brains? Now you're pulling BS out of your ass. Just stop.
