There is no doubt that Sasuke is a little bit too fast for Gaara, but like I said, a Suna Tsunami should be capable of burrying Sasuke even if he is that fast since the Tsunami is too large for even someone like Sasuke to outrun.

what are you talking about,they were both at the point of th explosion,and they both landed a distance away from it.

Gaara kept up with a flying deidara,has blocked explosions the instant they explode,has blocked amaterasu. Sasuke's speed is nothing.

he blocked enton he did not block amaterasu. enton is far slower

gaara may have kept up with deidara but deidara was severely outmaneuvered by sasuke the entire fight, and on multiple instances praised sasuke's speed

gaara's sand has no feats of being able to defend against fast taijutsu on the level of un weighted lee or sasuke. his defense would be too sluggish. not to mention there are two instances where sasuke's chidori has cut through gaara's sand like butter. even if gaara's defense has gottenen stronger since then, sasuke's chidori and variants have improved as well.

The difference is that Sasuke's Chidori is a piercing Raiton technique while Ay's kick was a slashing [Crushing?] Raiton attack though. Gaara's Suna is weak against piercing Raiton attacks.

those susanoo swords while powerful don't have the piercing power of chidori. let me put it to you this way. when trying to get through steel, do you drill or do you hit it with five massive hammers? obviously you drill.


v2 as wasn't moving at top speed when he is falling through the air so no at that instance he wasn't as fast as hebi sasuke

Eh, Gaara's Suna is weak to piercing Raiton attacks. A Susano'o Sword slash and a piercing Chidori are two completely different types of attacks. You see, that's like claiming that Tsunade would be capable of tanking something like Sasori's poison just because she tanked a Susano'o Sword.

Just like to add that Gaara didn't even tank those. He tanked one and then when the other 4 hit his sand wall, it broke apart and Gaara got tossed to the ground.
