This post marks the beginning of my (our) mission using these storyboard elements:
-Custom: Defuse a misunderstanding
Summary: Lena finds herself on a stranger's ship, the two parties have an intense stand off as strangers. Lena still suffering from the battle that had happened earlier has to defuse the misunderstanding that has been put in place. Though it may require some heavy handed listening.
As Lena floated around in the water, she was at peace - she knew it would only be temporary. Her silence was rudely interrupted as the water was cut through and beside her a wooden vessel passed. Her eyes opened and she stretched out, her hand hit the wood and she was carried with it. Water poured from her body as she resurfaced and climbed up against the side of the ship, her hand finally reaching over the side and with what seemed to be ease pulled herself over the side, her feet hitting the deck as water began to puddle up around the spot she was now standing - she was pretty relaxed, so her stance was off after spending so much time in the water - her hair wet and covering her vision. But she looked around, eyes locking on to each individual as they began to notice she was there.
"Hey! How the hell did you get on this ship?"
Guns, Harpoons, swords and any other sharp object or weapon was pointed in her direction. One man spoke to her. But it didn't matter to her, what mattered to her was why this ship that was heavily armed was so closed to Shinramoto. Another attack so quickly? She eyed each and everyone of these people who she planned to kill.
"Are you not all there or something? Why are you on this ship!?"
Lena still didn't respond and so tensions rose between her and the crew of the ship. She noticed them slowly approach and surround her, a spear's tip approached her personal space. She didn't respond in a nice manner to that, she dashed towards the man holding the spear and ducked under the spear and rugby tackled the man to the deck - she straddled him and held her hand around his neck. Though her grip remained weak as she noticed the man, or young adult had gone completely red. She also noticed he had a broach that donned a sigil she recognised, though these people were not her enemies, she saw red but that faded and she was clearly shocked as she looked down at the blushing young man. The barrel of a rifle stuck against her head in her moments of realisation.
"Stand down or else we'll be spending the afternoon cleaning brains off our deck."
Lena slowly stood up and got off of the man, he scrambled away and too his feet trying to regain his posture. Lena had her hands up and looked around at the wary crew members, she tried to speak to the man who had been talking and what seemed to be in command.
"I made a mistake."
"You definitely did Lady."
"Let me expla..."
"You can talk about it when we get back to Jinshui."
She had already figured it out, but that confirmed it. These men were stationed at the fortress located by the coast, and she had stumbled across them - Lena didn't realise how far she had flew out into the Hanguri Gulf. She was totally out of it. Now she was in a predicament and didn't want to hurt these men as they had not wronged her. Yet.
"Now slowly walk down to the brig."
Lena reacted, her left arm flicked up and slapped the gun away from that side of her head. Using the same hand she brought it up immediately and the side of her open palm was pressed firmly against the commander's neck. Every brought their weapons back up and pointed them at her, she kept her hand pressed against his neck and looked at him, her eyes intensely staring at him.
"I am NOT Going down there."
The man looked at her and nodded, her was quite shocked, probably at how fast she was compared to him. He knew she meant it, and from how she looked at him there would be a fight to get her down there. Nodding was the correct call. Lena takes her hand from his neck and raises them again.
"Look. Before I came to the Gulf I had just been in a large fight, I wasn't in the right state of mind and just thought since I thought you guys were close to my home; that you were looking for a fight too. I'll come with you, quietly. But I will not be caged."
The commander relaxed and lowered his gun, gesturing to others to do the same. However, he would not completely trust her motives; he wasn't stupid. He lead her into his quarters, shutting his door away from everyone else. He sat down in his chair and looked up at her, letting out a sigh - obviously not expecting to be dealing with this today.
"Well, I will still have to watch you closely. You could be a Thief or a Liar. No Offence. And I'm taking you back to base, because I don't really have much idea what to do with you."
Lena understood, she did just turn up on their ship and she couldn't act innocent after her first impression. Also the fact she looked like a stitched up Frankenstein's monster. Bringing in Songbird would only escalate her situation. Seems she'd be sailing to Jinshui.
