It actually tears the skin apart, then heals that. That version has never destroyed the body internally or fully the way the Gates does. The fact that later transformations, such as KM, BM and full transformations, don't have this effect is why you never see Naruto doing so again. The only reason Killer Bee still does it is because of how well he gets along with Gyuki and how long he's had control over him.

I don't know why you keep linking the Wikia as proof. Neither I nor anyone else in a vs. debate is going to randomly take the word of "translators" making statements that cannot be backed up by the manga. Especially when I know where they got their translations from.

What people are you talking about? The Jinchuriki? It's clear that a Bijuu transformation has not ever had the same effect as the Eight Gates. The furthest the Eight Gate has gone is the body starts vaporizing. The furthest a Bijuu transformation has gone is the body becomes deformed. How you can even begin to think they're on the same level is completely beyond me, but hey, if that's what you prefer, then do you.

Yes you can assume it's where they got the information from provided that other translators that actually bothered to do the work could not even find a mention of genjutsu on Nagato's profile. So unless every translator was wrong somehow except the "oh, so reliable" wiki translators, then the only option is that some moron on the wiki read the troll post took it seriously and decided it was "fact".
