While I do not agree that the Juubi's body is Gedo Mazo, I must take issue with this statement. The moon was created using Chibaku Tensei. Therefore it cannot be the Juubi. The Juubi's body is simply sealed in on all sides by rock.

the gedo mazdo is defiantly a summoning tech BUT
its purpose is defiantly the hollow body of the juubi.
It's made quiet clear that there is a connection between the two
or tobi would just use some other sealing technique. also,
i would guess there would have to be some sort of medium for such a powerful being to be brought into place along with whatever ritual/jutsu maybe needed
(thinking back to how long it would take to seal a beast)
But there is no doubt to me that they are either one in the same or directly related and not just some cool technique.

The similarities are too close to be a coincidence, however it has been stated several times in the manga that the Juubi's body was sealed within the moon...It's tough to say really, but it would be a rather unique twist if the Juubi's body was recovered by Tobi somehow.

Maybe Gedo Mazdo was something that was created to be able to hold the chakra of the tailed beasts for a certain amount of time in order for Tobi to become it's Jinchuriki.

Cool theory though.

Difference between Teleporting the Kurama some distance away from Konoha and Teleporting the 10-Tails from moon to earth is quite huge.

First, Minato lost almost all of his chakra while teleporting Kurama just away from konoha so its impossible for Tobi to teleport 10-Tails body from moon to earth becuase Tobi doesn't have this much huge chakra to teleport 10-tails from moon to earth. Tobi would be dead if he just try it out.

Second, If Tobi would teleport 10-tails from moon to earth then how come moon is still in the existence as the moon was created by rikudo sennin to seal the 10-tails body inside using rinnegan's chibaku tensei technique by covering it with rocks and other earth stuff. Won't the moon be destroyed when 10-tails is extracted inside out of moon. ????

And I am not underestimating Tobi but He is not so overpowered too so don't make him so overpowered.
