i thinks it the juubi because they say the so6p sealed it away and removed its soul and they show naruto basically do the same with the nine tails when they fought minus the sealing and the only way he can revieve the juubi would be to have all nine parts and put it back in the body

Seeing as the Rinnegan was the actual eyes of S06P, and Gedo can only be summoned via Rinnegan, maybe it gets summoned from the moon?

Also, why else would the sage seal the BODY of the juubi into the moon? It isn't the same as the bijuu because they're made purely of chakra and reform after death.

i dont believe that tobi is a uzamaki as stated in one of the first post. tobi probably learned the chain technic from watching kushia control the beats when he forced the 9 tails to atk, with his eyes he can learn basicaly anything. and as for tobi and madara i believe they are the same person as stated from a few different episodes madaras body was badly injured from his battle with hirasima and he said the battle was for the prupose of obtaining his body. and befor the war it showed madara has a clone of hirs body near where he was storing the gedo statue that he obtained from his battle with him. i beleive his main body was to baddy injured and he used the rinigan and the cells he got from hish to make a new body which he calls himself tobi.

Gedo Mazo is most likely a tool created by Rikudo to seperate and combine the Juubi's body. We've seen it has the power to rip out the chakra of a being. This power was most likely used on the Juubi.

Judging from it's speed, strength and size when Tobi summoned it, it seems very unlikely to be the Juubi. It seems a tailed beast, especially the Kyubi, can take this thing out easily since Gedo seems to be very slow. Most likely, the Sage created it as a "tank" to hold down the Juubi after the Sage managed to capture it, giving him time to seal the Juubi.

How the hell did you "come up with some calculations"? Here's the definition of a calculation. "A mathematical determination of the size or number of something or an assessment of the risks, possibilities, or effects of a situation or course of action." You have done neither of those. What you did was a probability, speculation or just random bullshit pulled from your ass, most likely the latter.

Is Gedo Mazo the Juubi's hollow body? Most likely, NO, no where close to being the Juubi. It is nothing more than a tool used to combine the 9 beasts into 1 or separating the 1 into 9. That is what Gedo Mazo is.

I was also thinking the same thng.
1. It may be the juubi's hollow body. Thats why tobi is sealing the tailed beasts in it to revive the true form of the juubi. Also the gedo manzo look closely like the juubi except that the juubi was shown to have 1 eye.
2. It may also be a tool created by the so6p to separate or seal away the chakra of the juubi.
However we would come to know it soon.........:d

This is an outstanding argument. But I still dont think it is truly the Juubi. It doesnt have the giant eye. And, if the so6p throwing its body into space and making the moon isnt a metaphor, i really dont think it is. Now I am more willing to believe that it is just a vessel used to revive the beast. But I still couldnt see the so6p creating such a jutsu.

Gedo mazdo aint juubi...its just a summon,besides juubi has one eye nd nt nine nd its been stuck in the moon....the juubi aint complete without the nine bijuu but gedo mazdo is revived with just seven bijuus in him..gedo mazdo is just like a high chakra storage statue!
