I believe Naruto is the next So6P aswell. But he isn't and never will be the original. For you to say that Gedo Mazo is the Juubi (the one that was sealed in the moon) is stupid. My point was, just because things are similar, it doesn't make the exactly the same.

As I've said before, Gedo Mazo will be used to revive the Juubi (most likely used as the body). That being said, that doesn't make Gedo Mazo the actual Juubi's body because it was sealed inside the moon. The Juubi will be revived, but because it's original body is missing, it's power is going to be less the the originals.

hmmmm thats ify on that one because we really don't know where it comes from and i will laugh it turned out to be a cloned body of the juubi while not being the orginal still making the juubi.
but this the narutoverse where one man can make a small moon. who is their to say a jutsu that can resummon the body of the 10 tails

well I believe the similarities are irrefutable, but to speak about any of this as if it is factual information is plain ****ing stupid. The ONLY actual facts on this thread is the fact that Juubi is sealed on the moon. That being said Gedo MIGHT be the Juubi's shell, but i seriously doubt it because if Masked Man went to the moon how the hell could he have possibly learned how to break a seal created by the so6p.

It MIGHT be more likely that the original Madara ( assuming he's the one who created it ) created Gedo to be a vessel for the 9 Bijus so they could re-create the Jubi within the Gedo, which would then give the Gedo statu it's full power because it can only steal souls and stomp all over shit atm. Which would possibly explain the undeniable similarities, this seems a hell of a lot more believable than the Gedo IS the Juubi.

As things stand right now in the manga the Gedo IS NOT the Juubi because the Juubi is on the moon according to everything that has been said, though I am not saying that it cannot possibly be revealed to actually be the Juubi because all the foreshadowing cannot be ignored. Hell, I don't think any of you can deny that Shikimaru had came to the conclusion himself the the Gedo was actually the Juubi, which would also explain why Masked Man got irritated in that link that has appeared several times on here.

In conclusion if I'm wrong about anything don't flame me with fanboy rage, the point I am trying to get across is that no one is wrong and no one is right. It's all opinions and speculation at this point.

There was no "seal". So6P used Chibaku Tensei to "seal" the Juubi's body inside, and hurled it into space, thus creating the moon. To retrieve the Juubi's body, he would have to destroy the moon.

look the so6p was not stupid enough to create another body for the juubi. nor was he dumb enough to seal it on the planet itself but in the heavens. however in japanese mythology there is a way to reach the heavens. this goes for mortals as well. and since the naruto manga is based of many folklore for its character and battles i would love to see it

Why would he of done that? Think about things. Why, when he work so hard to save the world, leave a summoning contract...?

The Moon was created to seal the Jubi's body within it. The Jubi's body can be summoned by those who posses the Rinnegan, but it seems that only one Rinnegan user can have control over it(theory). Now, because the Jubi's body can be summoned, then that means that no on has to destroy the Moon. Plus, if you destroy the Moon... the force used to destroy the Moon would most likely destroy the Jubi's body.

Gedo Mazo has a very high chance of being the Jubi's body.

Even in the world Naruto there are things considered impossible. Creating the moon was considered impossible by a roomful of the most powerful ninja alive. Retrieving something from inside the moon is almost as difficult.

Allow me to add that Tobi cannot warp the Juubi's body with him back to earth. The Juubi is in the center of the moon, completely encased in rock. To absorb the Juubi, Tobi has to be solid, as stated by Konan. He cannot be solid inside the rock.
