[Discussion] Gaara (with shikaku)+Desert=Invincible? i think so!

i was thinking about the future fight between gaara and onoki vs. the other kages. and was also taking into consideration that ppl think gaara is weak. i have come to the conclusion that gaara in the desert is almost unbeatable. there is probaly only a few select nins that can defeat him full power in the DESERT (shikaku inside him would make him even more OP). out side the desert he is defeatable but still hard ashell to beat.

1. gaara sand protects him at will and is fast.

2. he can pump chakra in his sand to make it faster and more powerful

3. he can fight you from a distance. and be on the offence while playing defence.

4. he can fly fast or hurver over you

5. he can set sensor sand to the point were homatter where you are he will know you exact location. nomatter how fast you are, fly or not, big or small he will know were you are.

6. with the sand under you, he can grab you anytime he pleases if you dont keep moving.

7. sand can protect him from anything, and even if you do get past his sand he has a constant sand armour over his body that potects him from anymove aswell.

8. he can hit you with a tsunami's worth of sand, bullets, shower, spear, has the shield aswell etc etc

9. can drag you beneath the earth (200 meters deep) and crush you with the earth itself.

i could go on and on. gaara in the desert (with shikaku) i would say could beat even the mightiest ninja i think. only ninjas i see beating him in the desert is tobi, minato (probaly), raikage, healthy kimmimaru, and pain. and i wanna see who i missed on the list of ninjas that could possibly defeat him one on one in the desert. no village, no civillians, no worrys. just one on one in the desert..

if you can see pain beating him, and Naruto beat pain, then you'd have to add Naruto to that list, but I think you could be right. also, I should hope SO6P could beat him

that's why he's known as gaara of desert.

he's known as Gaara of the Desert because he can turn any minerals into sand for his use (he turned a forest clearing into a desert against Kimmiaro). but, yeah, desert would make him over the moon OP.

Kakashi is iffy. VERY iffy. Sasuke is a maybe... Itachi, seeing as he can't maintain Susano'o for long periods of time, I'd have to say no. Gai, HECK NO! do you SERIOUSLY think that GAI could beat Gaara's sand!?!? Kisame is a little iffy as well, depending if he could drain the chakra out of EVERY single grain of sand around him, including behind him, with Samehada. if he can't, he's done.

It went from him being unbeatable to naming a lot of fanboy characters who could beat him?!? Kakashi wouldn't have a chance with garra in the desert an I don't think Sasuke would neither. The only reason why naruto would have a chance is because of the 9-tails (did naruto beat all the pein's, I don't remember), but I do see pain and probably strong water element users havin a very good chance at winning.

kakashi, thats iffy. knowing gaara it would be a sand clone that kakashi would hit. so i still say know. plus kakashi using kamui on a person, it has been shwon to absorb slow.

sasuke's susanoo would get crushed in the earth and will sit there till it turns off. same as itachis susanoo.

gai, in all 8 gates probaly, but he would gie aswell. i still say no way


itachis tsukiome is useless against a host, and we seen how useless amertatsu was against regular gaara so that want work on gaara or the shikkaku.

kisame would get raped. the constant sand around plus him being already slow equals a defeat! gaara would use the sand to take samahada away befor he fuses with the sword. and even if he fuse with the sword, gaara would fill the whole dome of water with sand to the point kisame will have to release that jutsu. i say know, to much sand

in the end he would beat them all. that is to much sand and it can overwhelm even the mightiest of ninjas. thats an infinite amount of sand in his disposal. anywhere else itachi and them would probaly win but in the desert i say no! thats like fighting kisame in the ocean with him already transformed=unbeatable.lol

from the ninjas we no about or even have a little intel on. we do not know of the past jinjurikis.

Kakashi has to focus kamui, if they are in a desert he'd have to get gaara in eyesight long enough to suck him away but sand would be automaticly attacking kakashi as soon as the fight starts and probably in front of gaara if he sees the MS activated, if he connects its auto win vs gaara, but wouldn't the shikaku come out of his dead body and then kakashi would be in MS withdrawl and fighting a psycho tailed beast lol

Sasuke-depending on what level of susanoo, if 3rd or final forms (skin or armor) then yeah the sand wouldn't get thru it and couldn't directly stop the arrows, but he could still open the sand floor up and drop sasuke into the ground and keep him there untill susanoo ran out.

Itachi-would only need to make eye contact for gen or tsukiyomi so unless gaara knows about his eyes being his strong point he might get caught in it, if gaara passes out from it tho then itachi has to take down shikaku (probably with amaterasu like sasuke did to 8tails)

Guy-yeah 7th gate and the tiger punch should pass thru his sand enough to do either a winning blow or damage even if he hides in a shikaku strengh ball of sand. At that level if he could get close enough morning peacock or just normal taijutsu would break his sand armor off and crush gaaras bones.

Kisame would be very interesting since its water vs sand and its harder for gaara to control wet sand and kisame can make a lake-worth of it with one move, it'd be a massive terrin battle kisame and his water vs gaara and his desert i could see it going either way since kisame IS a expert on capturing tailed beast hosts and feeds off chakra thru water and samehada so gaara would need to get him out of water and sand burial him before samehada absorbed the chakra in the sand coffin or kisame brute force broke it.

i think Shikaku Gaara+Desert and no teammates to take advantage of= extremly hard fight for anyone, they are basicly fighting in a world completly controled by their opponent, the floor is your enemy, the sky is your enemy (he can make the sand float above and rain down on you like kimi) it defends him, it attacks for him, even if you get close hes got a thick layer of sand on his body and if you somehow kill him or knock him out, the psycho giant 1tails comes out and wants to murder you, it also controls sand and can shoot giant bullets of wind. So maybe madara or danzo would have the best chances because they can pass thru his attacks and thru his defence with izanagi/spacetime.

Edit:Bee and maybe A, but his attacks probably wouldn't go thru all the sand would have the best chances after that, bee can also go full tailed beast but has better teamwork with his, TBB could blow any amount of sand shields away, his speed and power could keep gaara atleast a bit on the defence at all times, and his lvl1 and 2 lariats would be killers if they could connect.

Pain would also have a great chance but his summons would get sand burials, missles and chakra blasts would be nulled by giant sand shields, the 2 paths that need to catch you to pull your soul out wouldn't ever catch him (and even then shikaku's crazyness might repel the human path when it tried to read his mind) fat path could absorb chakra out of the sand but would shikaku's will still control it even if he took the chakra out? (was never 100% on if shikaku controled it with his chakra or just a natural abilty and no chakra req) the sand wouldn't just disappear either because hes controling real sand and not making it out of chakra, and the most powerful one God realm might be able to blow the sand away but Gaara has a whole desert to use at once, not even his massive village destroying push could remove that threat, and its not like he can set it up while keeping gaara distracted with other pathes because he has to drop control of the others to use both of his biggest attacks so if he reverse summons the other 5 away unless its in an area outside the desert he can crush the knocked out bodies with sand while nagato is charging his attack, and gaara can control the sand and have it pull him back away from chibaku tensei's gravity ball or guard himself inside the moon made of sand then turn it into his weapon againest the drained Deva path.

Jiraiya???nah he have much of a chance and now that I think about it Pein would have a real hard time too, I see him using sand coffin/burial on most of the pein bodies.

i agree with the last part madara and danzou, but add naruto, killer bee, and pain to the only ninjas that will forsure have the best chance of winning. every other ninja is iffy and have a slight chance.

i disagree on the itachi part tho. one, gaara would probaly be in the air to the point were he can not see the ms to begin with. and ametertsu is useless to the shikkaku since he would/could shed a layer of sand from his body/ go underneth the desert itself! and guy would have to go 8 gates id say, because gaara will still be to much, he could make the desert itself a cushion to help him when he does hit the ground.... OMG that would be beyond epic. come to think about it he could make a constant sand storm while fighting so it would affect ur vision and how you fight. DAMN.. i think he is the only character besides kisame in the ocean (SO6P dosnt count) that we can say will not get defeated..

i already explained the sasuke and itachi thing. already said tobi and pain could. dont know about the 2nd, probaly the second because he could change the landscape aswell and would control/surpress the shikkaku. but minato i will say no but probaly yes. kabuto yes! oru probaly, jman hell know!!!!!!!!!!!!! killer bee and naruto yes.

p.s. all of the "yes" doesnt mean they would win, it means they have a good chance of surviving better then the others.lol.
