he also has to be wililng to use it, in theory kakashi should have stoped Deva path before it destoryed the village because he had kamui at the time, but he didn't.

why would he pain is a rinnengan holder it isnt easy to win pain but gaara yes =P

he can't throw tsunami after tsunami but he won't need to its already all around the enemy he doesn't have to move the sand far to get to them just use the sand right under them at the time. Unless his enemy if flying like deidara was they are screwed, everywhere they step can be used againest them in a split second.

he actually can throw one after the other the amaterasu consumes anything the wielder sets his eyes on which means if itachi is looking in a straight line then there wil be a line of fire now if he is looking at someone while that person is moving fast then it will be short burst of flames which means its like taking shots at the person =P

ok lets make it a given gaara will make eye contact, itachi uses a massive amaterasu, shikaku still controls the sand to protect gaara, he can still move the sand away before the sand is gone and bury the flames underground because they are in a desert (shikaku controls the ground then) Amaterasu doesn't immediatly consume anything it touches, the samurai armor wasn't completly destroyed when sasuke hit him with it, it survived long enough for raikage to get behind sasuke, chop him in the neck and about to leg drop him, then the sand trio show up and kankuro pulled it off of him (long enough for gaara's sand to move it away from him).

that was only one point of the battle which the amaterasu didnt expand but in any other battle it did =p

lol yeah so count Deidara,minato and sarutobi on people who will def beat him because they can kill themselves and an enemy at the same time with suicide bombing and reaper death seal.

both Itachi and sasuke can put the flames out, itachi never used shape changing like sasuke does with blaze release, he just made a ton of it and ended up blinding his eye, so itachi makes a big ocean of fire, gaara still has all the rest of the non flaming sand, and the flaming sand (lol flaming sand tsunami GG itachi?) and didn't i say something about the problem being can gaara dodge the arrows? that wasn't sarcastic or anything if sasuke beat gaara in this fight that would be the reason why.

oh yeah hiruko, the totally OP movie villian that naruto killed, i watched the movie long time ago but there is a reason you can't make a bio of him on NB, same reason you can't make a sage of the six pathes bio, 1v1 they are OP and except storyline intervention they can't be beaten.

i wasnt talking about making a hiruko bio on nb just making it clear gaara isnt unbeatable

i was thinking about the future fight between gaara and onoki vs. the other kages. and was also taking into consideration that ppl think gaara is weak. i have come to the conclusion that gaara in the desert is almost unbeatable. there is probaly only a few select nins that can defeat him full power in the DESERT (shikaku inside him would make him even more OP). out side the desert he is defeatable but still hard ashell to beat.

1. gaara sand protects him at will and is fast.

2. he can pump chakra in his sand to make it faster and more powerful

3. he can fight you from a distance. and be on the offence while playing defence.

4. he can fly fast or hurver over you

5. he can set sensor sand to the point were homatter where you are he will know you exact location. nomatter how fast you are, fly or not, big or small he will know were you are.

6. with the sand under you, he can grab you anytime he pleases if you dont keep moving.

7. sand can protect him from anything, and even if you do get past his sand he has a constant sand armour over his body that potects him from anymove aswell.

8. he can hit you with a tsunami's worth of sand, bullets, shower, spear, has the shield aswell etc etc

9. can drag you beneath the earth (200 meters deep) and crush you with the earth itself.

i could go on and on. gaara in the desert (with shikaku) i would say could beat even the mightiest ninja i think. only ninjas i see beating him in the desert is tobi, minato (probaly), raikage, healthy kimmimaru, and pain. and i wanna see who i missed on the list of ninjas that could possibly defeat him one on one in the desert. no village, no civillians, no worrys. just one on one in the desert..

Your completly right gaara in a desert with shukaku is pretty strong . I think minato could beat him though MAYBE

If gaara didnt have to protect the villiage AND fight diedara at the same time, the battle would have been different.

EXACTLY!!! people think gaara is weak just because he lost to diedara even though it wasn;'t even a fair fight. Deidara knew that the only way to win was to distract gaara. Even though gaara lost and got taken from his village it remained completly UNHARMED. Thats how u know gaara is a beast.

it also burns slow, it didn't instantly kill sasuke in their fight, sasuke broke the floor and sliped thru the hole (and itachi put out the fires with his eyes, go read the fight again zetsu said he put it out to protect sasuke's eyes)

Erm I had a hiruko vs Gaara thread.

I found out lots of people do not watch the movie.

So I think lots of people would then say Hiruko would lose because Sakura beat him. But they don't know that we are not talking about that Hiruko.
I think after the first movie and the second movie sometimes it is hard to watch the others.
Just because one they had movie theaters, wakie talkies, trains... It makes you wonder what age was this again? I thought it was the old school ninja age. Can spoil the the anime/ manga cause you would be like why won't they take the train to the clould villae instead of running on top of trees. Also what is with Naruto outrunning a train...

Kimmimaro couldve lost against Gaara in the Sasuke retrieval arc

When Gaara was about to crush him that 1 final time he made his sand strong enough to crush steel
But Kimmimaro managed to get out before he got to that point

Cause Karura would protect him from hurting himself

And KA is close range
Gaara is med to long range

1. Oonoki can fly and has those instant-kill dust techniques that can blast through sand and rocks. If Gaara can avoid those techniques, he might do ok against Oonoki.
2. We haven't seen Gaara fight a person who is a strong water user or who uses something like lava release (like the mizukage). We do not know sand's relative weakness against water or Lava. We did see the old Mizukage's water and oil techniques were able to dissolve his sand seals, which basically made those techniques worthless for a while. It's possible water techniques in general (or mud, or lava, etc) could have similar negative effects.
3) We did see Deidara defeat Gaara pretty easily. Of course, no other ninja's have that same clay bomb technique, so maybe it's a fluke. Still, Gaara was in the desert and he was beaten.
4) Gaara never had strong control over shukaku, and never was able to tap into it's power the same way Naruto and Bee are able to do. We don't know how a wall of sand would be able to defend against a TBB, and Gaara wouldn't be able to use tailed beast power to counter-act Naruto or Bee's transformed modes in a concerted way.

Gaara is pretty formidable, but we have seen him defeated at least once and we don't know how his defenses would work against users of certain other elements.
