They were a powerful clan but that doesn't mean they aren't human. Obito and Itachi attacked the Uchiha clan in their sleep. They are human so even a Kunai would be able to kill a powerful shinobi if he's alseep(unless he has a natural defence).


Though the Uchiha=Senju isn't something I outright agree with. There are some Uchihas stronger than Senjus but there are also Senjus who are stronger than Uchihas.

During Madara and Hashirama's time, I believe the Senju were above the Uchiha but not by much. Since the Uchihas were the only clan who could stand up to the Senju clan. Hence why whenever someone first hired the Senju clan, the other would hire the Uchiha clan. If nations hired the Senju first instead of the Uchiha, then I would believe it was because they were above them even if it wasn't by much. In which their enemies reacted by hiring the Uchiha clan to actually stand a chance.

Yeah, they aren't like, more powerful than anything in the world, but people tend to forget Obito and Itachi did kill them in their sleep, and therefore underestimate them.

I honestly think that the Uchiha were as powerful as the Senju when Konoha was founded. I mean, they fought countless times, but there was no obvious victor, otherwise they wouldn't have signed the peace treaty. There would only be one clan which would have survived if one of them was stronger at that time.

But in the times konoha was founded the senju clan was overall stronger then the uchiha.

When the manga talks about the past it is always implied senju were above the uchiha.

If it was implied the uchiha was above and the senju matched up to them, I would argue the same for the uchiha.

Even the leaders of the clan were extremely close in strength they fought each other many times and didnt have a clear winner.
