Kurama techincally did modify his chakra before giving it to Naruto so that Naruto could distribute it. He even says while thinking about Shukaku that it was specifically his chakra delivery.
Although again to be fair, you could also say that Sakura wouldn't have learned to do what she can do on her scale without Tsunade. And so to not be confused:

By looking at the diagram, you can see that Naruto actually is transferring his own chakra to the alliance and manipulating it to fit them. But the Kyuubi is the one that's transferring his own chakra through Naruto. Evidence of that is when Kurama says "Well I also can pass chakra to anyone through him"
So also in a way, Kurama wouldn't be able to do what he does without the help of Naruto. It's Naruto's ability to link with Kurama that allows Kurama to share use Naruto's chakra to share his own with others. But even with that, they are co-dependent, which still plays to KH's point that Kurama's chakra is off limits in this debate.
Basically the ability to manipulate and link chakra does belong to Naruto, but kyuubi chakra feats belong to kurama alone
Kurama modified the chakra so that could they could use, it notice in you're scan he praise Naruto's skill to be able to transform in to match others chakra type, KH points that all the feats are kurama's alone.
So was there a consensus?
Cause I'm still rolling with Naruto being greater with Offensive Chakra control and Sakura being greater with Defensive Chakra control
medical ninjutsu is the definition of amazing chakra control, it is the face of chakra control. Shall I even tell you that the seal is fuinjutsu? and CES is also a very demanding tech with chakra control? Her entire skill set.
Soooo that's why they referred to them as two different things on different occasions. alright.
@bold *facepalm* wow you need to ready up on what chakra control is.
The general term for the exact moulding and proper manipulation of chakra is called "chakra control". People with skilled chakra control are usually Medical nin
Notice Moulding and manipulation.
Every Ninja has to Moulding chakra to use it properly.
Well, defensive isn't always like mud wall crap. As Tsunade stated, Sakura is a medical ninja and as a medical ninja she must not be on the battlefield so she can stay alive and heal the wounded. However, with the chakra enhanced punches and such she can protect herself and fight back.
Think of it like Sakura is a normal girl walking down the street and her enemy is a robber trying to get her purse. She pulls out pepper spray so the enemy can be held back for a bit but not completely...
The pepper spray is her enhanced punches.
I can understand if you think Naruto has more defensive jutsus, but I find his defensive jutsu's offensive but just used differently.

So they just chose to not mention Sakura in the aspect of chakra transformation and specifically chakra control because that's just how they felt at the time and then with Naruto they felt to say chakra transformation. Gotcha
Sakura is at the pinacle, if you want to bring Naruto up to stand equally with her there be my guest. But the manga disagrees with it by simple word choice, i'm just saying what I see.

Probably Naruto. I mean, what Sakura's doing is medical ninjutsu. Which means she's using specific techniques. Naruto can actually bring shape to his chakra without a technique (chakra arms). Now, by feats, Naruto has superior chakra control.

The fact is, Sakura is just applying chakra for multiple techniques, which is impressive, but not on par to modifing one's chakra to be the same as an entire army's. On top of that, he simultaneously takes control of all the cloaks. Pretty sure that outclasses shape transformation and medical techniques.
So they just chose to not mention Sakura in the aspect of chakra transformation and specifically chakra control because that's just how they felt at the time and then with Naruto they felt to say chakra transformation. Gotcha

Either way, they are defensive. While Naruto doesn't have a lot of defensive jutsus either, he uses his offensive as defensive to make up for the lack of defensive jutsus such as Shadow Clone Jutsu. In the end, my opinion will remain:
Defensive Chakra Control: Sakura > Naruto
Offensive Chakra Control: Naruto > Sakura

Basically, she is doing her job because clearly in Naruto, the female role isn't to fight all the time, they are meant to heal so I'll see them as equals, actually. One does what the other can't
I want to see scans of Sakura using chakra control other than using it to pinpoint punch and use the yin seal. There's not much variation in her doing those 2 things.
Unlike Naruto, who has:
Combined justus and chakra with others successfully, on the first attempt.
Condensed large amounts of foreign chakra (larger than all of the yin seal sakura has placed in her seal) into a ball while maintaining a 8:2 ratio.
Maintained a 8:2 ratio of foreign chakra (black and white) in rapid succesion
Applied wind nature into a justu while maintaining it's rotation, and shape.
Either way, they are defensive. While Naruto doesn't have a lot of defensive jutsus either, he uses his offensive as defensive to make up for the lack of defensive jutsus such as Shadow Clone Jutsu. In the end, my opinion will remain:

Yeah because the manga has had a problem with hyping the crap out of naruto before. All of a sudden they address chakra transformation and chakra control within the space of 10 chapters and struggled to bring accross the point they are one and the same.
You said chakra control requires moulding of chakra in that of performing jutsu. What Naruto was doing was not a jutsu, he was literally just passing the chakra to other ninja. All that was taking place was chakra transfering and thus the comment was made on his chakra transforming capabilities in a way he could fit individual ninja. That's why I see a difference in both mentions.
But again, alright then. You clearly know best and forget the manga.
HE HAS THE ABILITY TO CONTROL IT .... its special to the 9-tails.. damn man. I'm talking about pure chakra control here. Not some ability you gain from something.
Actually it was stated that it was Naruto who was controlling it. He was the one that molded Kurama's and his chakra together and then molded the chakra to match each individual in the alliance.
Perhaps I should clarify what I meant in my previous post. What I meant to say is that Sakura is using techniques, which means she's trained to specifically control her chakra in the ways she was showing. However, every ninja's chakra is different. Therefore, there is not prep for Naruto. This means that Naruto had to use high-level adaption of chakra on the fly. Sakura has had time to train to use chakra in specific ways.
This topic needed to be reintroduced, because more evidence has been shown on Sakura's side. She with this week's chapter litterally smashed on Naruto chakra manipulation IMO.
Naruto's exterior chakra control = Rasengan or Rasenshuriken or BM, besides creating rasengan variants, he can manipulate chakra on the outside (No chakra arms are not a part of that, because that is an ability granted via kyuubi)
Sakura however, did this:

- She made a freaking chakra knife on 2 fingers rofl.
- Cuts his skin, increase the size the knife to 4 fingers
- Puts her hand inside his freaking heart , while creating a chakra SPHERE
- Oh not only that, she has to keep Naruto's blood at bay with that chakra, and then of course make sure no infections.
Yo Medical ninja > Most non-medic Characters in chakra control =D
So who is in the lead now Naruto or Sakura?
PS: My bad accidently made the poll with multiple choices, meant to click the "public poll" button. X_X
Well Jiraiya must have even better chakra control since he went 1 finger to write on Pa toad's back

. Also how is she using chakra to do anything when she's out of chakra? She only used it to cut Naruto chest and then enter his chest, yes it's keeping the blood from coming out but that's not really chakra control feat as chakra used to keep blood in which other medics would know how to do. Yin seal is still the pinnacle of her chakra control, can't be of everyone when Tsunade came and made her look like nothing when she healed Shikamaru.
Only confirmed chakra control Sakura has been said to have is précised chakra control while Naruto has 2 extremely advance chakra control plus he combined both. Yes chakra arms for KM/BM/BSM are chakra control, Naruto have to form the arms and Bee even started out saying that Naruto doesn't have control over the chakra

. Naruto made 2 small hands then form a mini FRS, that's pretty Bad*** in chakra control. Naruto have more chakra control types which all are mastered or on a extremely high level.
There are forms of chakra control, Kakashi pretty much introduced most of them: Walking on Tree-http://narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/018/6 and

So what are you saying now chakra transfer doesn't require moulding and manipulation now =D? lol really so the the chakra just automatically match the recipient? You dont say

Btw the way Chakra Transfer Technique is a ninjutsu :yeah:.
