As I just said, those objects were small, hence they flew right into the dimensional hole. It's obvious that it would take way longer to absorb a living human that can move into any direction. The missile wasn't even absorbed instantly.

My point exactly, a moving object that is in motion while he is stuck and unable to move. Imagine the skill it would take to chase down a missile. To say the arrow is small is a bit of an understatement, it's not like it was the size of a regular arrow that is shot by a regular bow. He doesn't have to warp the whole body, only parts of the body like when he faught Deidara. But if you take the Kakashi now, who is obviously more skilled with his ms now then he was then, I'm sure he could easily have warped all of Deidara instead of just his hands.

But Kakashi also teleported away Asuras rocket while being on the brink of death. Here you going to underestimate Kamui. It's clear that Kakashi has to focus on the object he wants to absorb, but this takes actually a little time and can't be avoided that simply since Kakashi is able to follow your movements while using Kamui.

You basicly agreed with me. It doesn't take long indeed, but it takes a few seconds. And those few seconds are the time Kamui can be dodged/blocked/whatever.

The question is whether these few seconds are enough to avoid it, considering it's not only fast but Kakashi can follow you with Kamui too. Sasukes arrows aren't instant too but need a short time, but yet not many are able to dodge it. So whether the time Kamui needs to absorb you is a weakness or not can't be said.

It can be said indeed. The arrows cannot be compared to Kamui; they're flying towards you and deal critical damage once they hit. Kamui has to be focused on the victim in order to deal damage. Rashomon, Nagato's panda, some kind of earth wall, Moku Jouheki, those are all ways to block Kamui, since most of those techniques work nearly instantly. It's an amazing technique, but just not as deadly as Amaterasu.

Two more ways would be dematerialization or Hiraishin, which in the other hand don't neccessarily protect their users from Amaterasu.

Does Kakashi have to close his eye to activate his ms like other Uchiha or can he just simply activate it considering that his sharingan never turns off? I would go to the manga but that just takes to much time. Because if he doesn't, then the time to activate it and actually perform his ms would be a little bit faster then say amaterasu. I'm not saying that is the case, it was just a thought.

Biggest concern with Kamui is that Kakashi has a long startup time just to use it. Once an enemy figures it out its easier to dodge than not. The fight with Deidara was simply outrageous because any smart ninja would not just fly in a straight line with a S/T portal on their body.

Some people think amasture is better than kamui
No because it can.easily be escape by the bodysheding technique and kamui trap you to a space dimension and kills you.
also it better for defensive use
