I say no. Changing your gender does not make you courageous unless you're in a society where you could literally be murdered on some shit. Two weeks ago. A father took his son(transgender) to the prom to support his/her new life. Should've gotten award for that. But now this bruce guy who is getting the best treatment and got security around his house and got mad money is getting award. He ain't struggling. He is not on the street or go to a public school when other people would bully him and trash him for transgending. He is safe from all of that. So really he ain't supporting anybody. on topic- This is stupid. Why should someone be honored for having surgery. Nothing is different except the persons appearance and the action benefits no one. Why isn't the award given to someone who actually does something that risks their life for the betterment of humanity.
