Um...Sasuke's revenge was the very definition of selfish, up to the part where he decided that all of Konoha needed to die for Itachi's sacrifice, including the countless innocents (read, 99.9% of the villagers) that didn't even know about the reason for the massacre and sympathized with the Uchiha.Sasuke's selfish yet he always wanted tk avenge his families death.Sasuke's selfish yet he wanted to avenge Itachi aswell after he found out the truth, and wanted to destroy Konoha for what they did to his family.Sasuke's selfish yet he cried over Itachi's death.Sasuke's self yet he wants to protect Konoha, and make sure no one geos through what he Itachi and his whole family did,Sasuke's selfish yet he wants to change the world by overthrowing the messed up old world and system andcreate a better new one?
Yeah everything is about Sasuke,he obvoiusly deosn't care about anyone else which is why he fought alongside Naruto to save the world from Infinite Tsukuyomi, against Obito,Madara, and Kaguya.Yes he is completely selfish.
His families MASSACRE,which he witnessed and which the truth was hidden away by the NATIONS LEADERS,is part of why he wants to change things.
Is what Sasuke thinks about the Shinobi world and system untrue?
Rins Death made Obito realize that the world is filled with hatred, suffereing, anger, fighting,War,death etc and he wanted to change that.Thats a good reason to want to change the world - to stop that, and Sasuke wants to end it to.But rather than force everyone into a Genjutsu and control them he wants to overthrow the current leaders of the messed up Shinobi world and system and create a new better one.
If he wanted to rule through fear like someone else said than why would he want to dispel the Infinite Tsukuyomi when everyones already trapped within it.Now is the best time to control everyone.
Im not saying everything they do is right, but their reasons for wanting to do it is understandable.People get mad of their internet connection is slow yet Sasuke and Obito are so hard to understand.
What Sasuke thinks may be true, but his method for change is as flawed as Obito's. Rin's death was awful, and it did make him realize how messed up the shinobi system was, but killing innocents and enslaving everyone against their will is wrong no matter how much you try to justify it. Sasuke is basically equivalent to a school shooter, sure, you know why they did it, and may even sympathize with the person, but deciding innocents need to die for your pain is wrong.
And, you honestly think Sasuke intends to create a better system, or that he even can? To begin with, Sasuke can barely control himself and has subpar leadership skills (basically follow me or I'll kill you principle). Second, he likely intends to just rule as a tyrant, I mean, honestly, what do you think he intends by killing the world leaders and sealing the only tools the people can use to rise against him (the bijuu). When he intends to eliminate everything that could stand in his way, what else could his reform be? If anything, what he plans seems to be worse than Infinite Tsukuyomi, as people will be miserable, at least they could be happy in IT.
