Why didn't Danzo just use Kotoamatsukami on Obito, then control Obito and make him attack Sasuke? That way he could defeat Obito and Sasuke at the same time. Another thing Danzo could have done was spam his bridge-busting suicide technique with izanagi activated...but he didnt do that either.

Im not going to go into detail but i think mei has the potential to beat itachi...not saying she will win, but she could. she avoids getting one-shotted by amaterasu or tsukuyomi with the hidden mist jutsu now itachi can't see her since the mist is in the way so he can't land a hit on her...
