The only reason why i can i think of sasuke not showing tysukuyomi is probably because its laying dormant in his right eye sort of how MS layed dormant in kakashis 3 tomeo until he reached his maximum potential with his 3t then his MS finally awoken from its dormant state.

Or sasuke doesnt know he even has tysukuyomi.

Look at black zetsus words

Its basically the vice versa of of sasuke since his left eye is amaterasu.
Only time will tell. :)

There's people on both sides of this debate making sense and using logic. Take those five out and this thread is full of idiots.

Until the fourth databook, we won't know 100% sure.

In reply, please refer to the 3rd paragraph in post # 38 by Varrah. The manga has already stated Sasuke's second ability as Kagutsuchi. The Databook has been proven as outdated before in that same post, and your reply about Danzo is there as well. There is nothing more that I can say, that Varrah hasn't said already.
I've read most of the post's already, but im not convinced mainly because it seems that these techniques seem to be inherited with the eye itself, not simply a upgrade to display extra power the MS comes with. In other words, although Sasuke does not have the capabilities of Itachi to be able to use Tsukoyomi, yet he is able to attain it simply because it is inherited through the MS. Look at Obito and Madara, they both claim to be able to use Tsukoyomi, and an infinite one at that. Also, remember that Itachi also used Amaterasu, Sasuke merely added chakra control to it, and it became a new technique, and the fact that it's named after another shinto god doesn't mean that no one else is capable of doing the same tech with practice.

Read Varrah's post #2, every Uchiha can use regular Genjutsu amplified by their Mangekyou Sharingan.

Kagutsuchi is the Shinto God of Fire, every MS jutsu has been named after a Shinto God. Kagutsuchi is no different.
Yes, but you're putting too much emphasis on the exclusivity of these techniques based on the name of the tech. The name doesn't matter because even Chidori is called Raikiri elsewhere. Names don't matter, nor do they claim some exclusive technique to the user. For example, just because Raikiri is not Raikiri with Sasuke doesn't mean the jutsu's are different somehow. Also, following this logic, Madara's perfect susano'o is not attainable by any other MS user simply because some MS techs are exclusive to certain characters for no reason.

Rather, all techs are inherent for each MS user, and have potential to learn such techniques. Just like Sasuke has potential to learn Perfect Susanoo, he also can learn Tsukoyomi. Likewise, any MS user can learn Amaterasu flame manipulation with practice.

You're an idiot! So manipulating the flames out his RIGHT EYE is the same jutsu as his LEFT? I am so done with this stupidity. You are your parent's problem not mine.
What he is saying is that it doesn't matter if chakra manipulation is coming out of the other eye since it is not an exclusive technique.

What you're saying is that Kagutsuchi is an exclusive technique to Sasuke that happens from his right.

The balance here is that although Kagutsuchi is a technique, it is NOT an EXCLUSIVE technique that only he can learn. It is available to all MS users who are skilled in chakra manipulation and learned Amaterasu.

In any case, Sasuke doesn't have Tsukuyomi. You can clearly see him using TWO DISTINCT ABILITIES FROM HIS TWO EYES. THE ABILITY TO CAST THE FLAME AND THE ABILITY TO CONTROL IT.
Just because each eye uses a specific function to accomplish a certain jutsu does not negate the notion that Sasuke can't accomplish Tsukoyomi. Even Obito who is missing one of his sharingan claims to cast an infinite Tsukoyomi, which implies that Tsukoyomi was a common jutsu among MS users. Tsukoyomi is not exclusive to Sasuke or a couple of people only. Sasuke certainly had the potential, under MS alone, to accomplish the great genjutsu, Tsukoyomi.

Sasuke's Mangekyō Sharingan casts Amaterasu from his left, and Kagutsuchi from the right as well as Genjutsu. [ ] [ ]
Kagutsuchi is casted from his left eye and manipulated with his right. Naruto-pedia has already confirmed this. Kagutsuchih is a the flames of Amaterasu taking shape. It is still Amaterasu.

Naruto.Wiki said:
Sasuke Uchiha uses this technique to apply Shape Transformation to the inextinguishable black flames of Amaterasu manipulating them at will. With it he can create a barrier that not only shields him, but also burns and pierces any opponent that touches the flames. The technique can also be used in conjunction with his Susanoo, and its weaponry. While Amaterasu is cast from Sasuke's left eye, he uses his right eye to manipulate the flames.

Lost on how it refutes me. o_O Already stated its manipulated by his right eye.. But casted from his left. Its a amaterasu technique.

Also, Naruto-pedia is actually greater then us.

It isn't, it is the fans maintaining that site, not an official source; therefore their information is no greater than the fans from forums. You may think it is, but it is not. For example, it states that Madara has Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, like many in the community speculate; however Kishimoto has yet to show Madara display these techniques. Essentially created a riveting problem between the databook and the manga: the databook claims such techniques are what is needed to awaken Susanoo, but the manga never explicitly declares Sasuke to have Tsukuyomi. It instead outwardly says Enton: Kagutsuchi whenever it is used, but does not state not even once Tsukuyomi when Sasuke uses a Genjutsu with his Mangekyo activated. Even when Itachi first used Tsukuyomi, it was stated, but not once has it been replicated by Sasuke. This is by far the greatest burden of proof for those who claim that Sasuke has Tsukuyomi.

Introduction:

The purpose of this thread is centralized specifically on clearing up the popular misconception that Sasuke actually has access to Tsukuyomi. I'll attempt to disprove this notion through various statements in the Manga, and general logic and deduction. Majority of the proof stems from 's work, and as such, I thank him and acknowledge him for this. Duly note that the Sasuke I speak of is MS Sasuke.

Groundwork:

Majority of people tend to think that Tsukuyomi is a prerequisite of Susano'o due what Itachi stated about Susano'o, Amaterasu, and Tsukuyomi, in their final battle. [ ] What we must realize and attempt to understand is that Itachi is simply stating that along with his Susano'o, he unlocked two Mangekyō techniques: Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu. Nothing more, in fact, nowhere does Itachi distinctively state that Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu are the definite prerequisites for Susano'o. Even so, people tend to think that Sasuke has Tsukuyomi...allow me to elaborate on this: despite what Itachi said, Sasuke has never referred to any of the Genjutsu he has used explicitly as 'Tsukuyomi'...thus hinting that Sasuke doesn't really possess it. Furthermore, regardless of what has been firmly stated in the past; Itachi's strong claim has seemingly been retconned by Kishi-Sensei through Madara. [ ] Madara is strongly implying that in order to awaken the Sharingan's true power both Sharingan eyes are a requirement. Does this ring a bell? Susano'o requires both Mangekyōs to be used, hence both Sharingan eyes are a requirement, and not that Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi are the definite requirements...In other words, what Itachi said is probably false. If you're still confused; when Madara stated what he did, he was hinting at Susano'o...Therefore, his statement perhaps indicates that the notion that both Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi are definite prerequisites for Susano'o are false; as he simply states that both eyes are required. [ ]

Determinant:

Despite the fact the belief that Sasuke has Tsukuyomi mainly stems from what Itachi said; some of it stems from Sasuke's battle with Danzō and Kirābī. Despite popular beliefs; Sasuke used a mere Sharingan Genjutsu on Danzō. Not Tsukuyomi. This is clearly evident as Danzō states that Sasuke's Genjutsu prowess is clearly inferior to Itachi's. Not the prowess of his Tsukuyomi. [ ] Obito even attested to this by stating it was merely a weak Genjutsu; and not Tsukuyomi. [ ] One thing I noticed in people's reasoning that Sasuke possesses Tsukuyomi is the fact that he used his basic Genjutsu with his Mangekyō Sharingan active; quite frankly, this is completely and utterly fallacious. For Itachi has used Susano'o with his base Sharingan... [ ]

What's more, is that against Kirābī Sasuke simply used a basic binding Genjutsu. [ ] This is further emphasized through the way in which Kirābī simply fell down in his battle against Sasuke...[ ]

Notes:

I, along with Varrah, theorize that Sasuke gained access to Tsukuyomi via the transplantation of Itachi's eyes. This can be emphasized through Sasuke's words..."I can feel Itachi's power flowing into me"; it's possible that Sasuke is referring to Tsukuyomi. Notice where Sasuke's hand is pointing also... [ ]

Summary:

Despite popular belief, Sasuke (MS) lacks Tsukuyomi. However, this exiguity is appropriated via the transplantation of Itachi's eyes...

Problem with that is people expect everything to be written in the manga. Sasuke has used Genjutsu on killer B which is considered Tsukuyomi.. fans here think it wasn't.... Thats the fans fault.. Kishimoto has already made Sasuke fill up the requirements. Unless you say he changed the requirements for Susano'o.

Owarij never replied back to me after I told him this: All MS jutsus have originated from the Juubi because the eyes themselves originate from it. Once Madara is connected to the Juubi or becomes the Juubi's Jinchuuriki, he gains access to all of those jutsus.

You are truly dumb sir.
I never replied to you because I have no interest in debating against someone who uses his own personal theories in a factual debate
What you're implying has nowhere been stated or suggested yet in the manga

Which is why Masashi had to explicity stated the change through Sasuke.[ ]

Sasuke exercised on Killer Bee not Tsukuyomi—which is a predominantly powerful type of Binding Genjutsu that both Itachi and Sasuke have cast from their Sharingan in the past but have differing aesthetics.[ ]

tsukuyomi is a MS genjutsu that causes strain on the users eye. That being said, sasuke has been shown to hold his eye in pain multiple times after casting various genjutsu, thus implying that he used tsukuyomi

Kasegui no Jutsu

Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique (魔幻・枷杭の術, Magen: Kasegui no Jutsu)
Genjutsu, Kekkei Genkai, No rank, Supplementary, Short range (0-5m)
Users: Uchiha Itachi, Uchiha Sasuke

A make-believe yoke piercing the limbs and body, completely snatching away one's freedom to move!! Once caught in the mind world created by the user, the victim will be tormented with the sensation of having wedges driven through their limbs, completely taking away their body's freedom. At the same time, the physical pain accompanying the illusion reveals the great use this technique has for primarily torture and such.

[picture of the Sharingan]
↑Performing handseals is unnecessary. All that is needed to use this technique is to have the enemy meet one's eyes!

[picture of Orochimaru being caught in this genjutsu]
↑In front of this technique, even Orochimaru is like a frog being glared at by a snake.

why is there no mention of the useres eye becoming injured as a result then?
