If Pein's technique suppresses the Kyuubi's chakra, that's a good thing if the following occur. First, his sage clone must still be back in toad mountain. This is plausible since that's in another dimension (summoning is a space-time jutsu). Second, there has to be someone to reverse summon that clone. I may not be by coincidence that Gamakichi is around (besides his wonderful comment that was the best line in the manga). He reverse summoned Naruto in the first time to the mountain. All Gamakichi needs is the scroll, which is also fortunately away from Naruto. If Naruto can be reverse summoned into sage mode after losing his Kyuubi form, that'd be perfect.

This is essentially a battle of chakra/endurance, and Naruto tends to win those.

I think that this chapter may have seemed short, but it was putting a lot of things together and into motion for the upcoming chapters. For example, why even bother mentioning Kabuto?

Everyone in Konoha is gonna be spent after this, so I predict with bold confidence that next year's chuunin exams will not be in Konoha!

Finally, after reading these boards though I'm short lived, feel like the previous generation surpassed based on the veterans and rookies of this forum, you guys rock.

I would choose to be the main branch Hyuuga, Deidara's clan, or Kimmimaro's clan. One with a blood line limit or mutation (Deidara), I mean really that many mouths? That way I could do art in my spare time while training. If Deidara was uber smart he would've made a C4 puppet for Sasori.

I don't think Sakura would've said that in the middle left panel if Hinata was caught in that explosion.. Unless she can piece her back together atom by atom .

I think that move Pain going to use is going to do some great damage on Naruto and the fox which going to have the fox go to 1 or 2 more tails sense the seal is broking, why would he break the seal if the fox isnt going to go all out

Don't you guys think Kakashi's death was in vain? Kakashi die so that Chouji could get the message thru that God realm has a 5 second vulnerability. But the 5 second thing was never used. To me that was quite lame and useless why the 5 second thing was even mentioned.

I think Kakashi will come back and use the 5 second thing. Kakashi can't die without doing anything great.

I also say semi-return because I'm currently at home and I can post! Now, to get down to things.

This was a very interesting chapter for me, however, I think the former was far more revealing. I find it pretty strange that Naruto would be so calm, and I'm sure this has already been discussed but I just missed it, for the deaths of all these people, and then explode when Hinata's "dies.'

I'm sure it's been speculated that Naruto felt a special connection with Hinata, that perhaps he even had recipriocal feelings towards her.

I'm sure it's also been speculated that it was simply the act of watching one of his friends die that set him off.

I think both of these theories are correct. I believe mostly what trigged the Nine Tailed Fox to make an appearence is mainly Naruto's despiration, but if that were enough alone then he would have transformed to save Hinata. So, I think that when she told him how she felt, he became so overwhelmed that he was pushed over the preverbial edge into foxdom.

Anyone else notice Pein's very interesting question to Naruto after he transformed? "Do you hate me?"

Seemed kind of pointed to me. Does Pein want people to hate him? Honestly, I think Naruto's response would be "No, but I'm going to stop you." Doesn't seem like Naruto is the "hating" kind. I could be wrong. There is a case to be made for Orochiumaru and for Pein being hated by Naruto, and I can't argue against those cases because they are very strong indeed.

At anyrate, I'd like to bring a little humor into the thread with my "prediction." I'm really not sure what to think about what's going to happen next, so here's my best "guess":

Naruto: ?!
Pein: "Pokeball GO!" Pein throws a red and white ball in Naruto's direction. The ball appears to absorb Naruto, landing on the ground, smoke billowing from the creases in the orb. The red light flashes dangerously, indicating that capture is not yet certain!
Pein: "Come on, come on, come on! Gotta catch em all! I've already got 1 - 8!" Pein watches in horror as the pokeball opens up, and Naruto emerges. This time, eight tails are present.
Naruto: "Gwaar!" Naruto prodcedes to stab Yahiko Pein with all Eight of his chakra infused tails. The chakra reverbirates back to Nagato, causing him to collapse.
Yamato: "Sakura! Where's Naruto?!"

Sakura can't use that technique yet because she's flat. Tsunade is perfect but she's injured and out of chakra. Without chakra she becomes a 55 year lady, not going to work either. But the whip thing is very useful though

You are right!! it is going to be funny as hell if Sakura run over to save Hinata and then crush hinata's neck and kill her . and then she can blame on Pein's tenshi! for doing that to Hinatal; afterward she will probably live peaceful with naruto without anyone noticing!! hehe Jussssssssssssst kidding!

Pein is quite a villan. How much chakra does Nagato have. It is unreal that he was able to go up against Konoha Ninja's, Kakashi, Annihalate the whole village as well as face a super charged Naruto with frogs. Now he is up against the 6 tailed fox and still has something in reserve it is unreal. I believe that Pein has proven that he is quite rightfully the leader of an exceptional group called the "Akatuski".

However as stated by Madara failure is not expected from the leader and as such this may be Pein's ruin. As i truly believed he expected the human form naruto to have been a push over. But Naruto in sage form destroyed 5 of his body and forced him to use alot of chakra. that along with is i am god mentality grand attack on Konoha.

Now he doesn't have enough chakra to face off against a nine tailed fox that as infinite chakra levels. I can't see pein winning this unless he has some sealing jutsu or something that can tame the fox. But attacking it directly will definetly not work.
