The more I think about it though, maybe kishi is planning on introducing some of the 4th's techniques to naruto because that would really symbolize the three most influential people in naruto's life in his fighting ability. It would show how he carries those people with him and how he would finally be able to surpass his father. the wind shuriken is kakashi's influence, the sage techniques is jiriya's, and i guess the rasengan is a combination of jiriya and the 4th's... so maybe another power will develop that really makes the connection between naruto and the 4th's abilities. Will it be the yellow flash.... i doubt it but what i do expect is in the next few manga's to see more of the 4th's story developed because where naruto comes from is one of the few remaining back stories that has to be developed... maybe they will tie it into whats going on in kakashi's mind about his past.
