The triumphant semi-return of Arisonius is upon you!
I say semi-return because sadly, my phone is broken to a point where I cannot even get to the mangas.
I also say semi-return because I'm currently at home and I can post! Now, to get down to things.
This was a very interesting chapter for me, however, I think the former was far more revealing. I find it pretty strange that Naruto would be so calm, and I'm sure this has already been discussed but I just missed it, for the deaths of all these people, and then explode when Hinata's "dies.'
I'm sure it's been speculated that Naruto felt a special connection with Hinata, that perhaps he even had recipriocal feelings towards her.
I'm sure it's also been speculated that it was simply the act of watching one of his friends die that set him off.
I think both of these theories are correct. I believe mostly what trigged the Nine Tailed Fox to make an appearence is mainly Naruto's despiration, but if that were enough alone then he would have transformed to save Hinata. So, I think that when she told him how she felt, he became so overwhelmed that he was pushed over the preverbial edge into foxdom.
Anyone else notice Pein's very interesting question to Naruto after he transformed? "Do you hate me?"
Seemed kind of pointed to me. Does Pein want people to hate him? Honestly, I think Naruto's response would be "No, but I'm going to stop you." Doesn't seem like Naruto is the "hating" kind. I could be wrong. There is a case to be made for Orochiumaru and for Pein being hated by Naruto, and I can't argue against those cases because they are very strong indeed.
At anyrate, I'd like to bring a little humor into the thread with my "prediction." I'm really not sure what to think about what's going to happen next, so here's my best "guess":
Pein: "Chibiki Tensei!"
Naruto: ?!
Pein: "Pokeball GO!" Pein throws a red and white ball in Naruto's direction. The ball appears to absorb Naruto, landing on the ground, smoke billowing from the creases in the orb. The red light flashes dangerously, indicating that capture is not yet certain!
Pein: "Come on, come on, come on! Gotta catch em all! I've already got 1 - 8!" Pein watches in horror as the pokeball opens up, and Naruto emerges. This time, eight tails are present.
Naruto: "Gwaar!" Naruto prodcedes to stab Yahiko Pein with all Eight of his chakra infused tails. The chakra reverbirates back to Nagato, causing him to collapse.
Yamato: "Sakura! Where's Naruto?!"
Sakura: "Over there!" They both rush to the scene to confront Naruto. Yamato attempts to bind the nine-tailed fox and fails, seriously being injured in the process. Sakura looks on in horror.
I've got to stop being so weak! Naruto needs my help! Naruto needs control! Nartuo ... needs ... to be ... controlled... THAT'S IT! Sakura removes swiftly her normal outfit to reveal a full leather bodice, boots, and pants. The kunai and shuriken are replaced by a whip.
Yamato and Naruto: ?!\
Sakura: "Don't worry, I've got this taken care of" ≈Dominatrix Technique: Collar of Submission! σ ≈ Sakura produces a spiked leather collar and throws it at Naruto, catching him by the neck. "Domination: Sucsessful!"
Next time: Naruto, You've been a bad, bad, boy.
