Itachi vs Pain

genjutsu can be done in many ways and clones are distractions and he also non-eye contact genjutsu at a good lvl that even got oro. all the paths except for preta and deva would get caught in amaterasu since he can send multiple flames in one amaterasu plus the paths are not fast either to dodge. preta can't absorb sword of totsuka its fuinjutsu and nagato did not absorb it either in his fight. itachi wins with difficulty. the 4 paths would die from amaterasu, deva can be put in genjutsu, preta can be killed with taijutsu, or sealed. itachi wins with diffuculty.

Im Pain, six paths is one of my favourite jutsu cuz of the strategizing required, his non eye contact genjutsu are sharingan genjutsu which are mainly for decieving and paths can easily realise by looking at each other and knowing that one is under genjutsu and clone tricks wont work on a 6 guys with 360 vision, even Naruto needed Pa and Ma to break the rinnegan link, and on my way are diff ways to counter normal genjutsu, if the paths stay together they can be behind the preta path like in the usual pain formation Itachi cant do squat, those amaterasu are flying through mid air and you can see them move cuz the wind is carrying them(didnt u watch the episode?) its the one trailing Sasuke thats dangerous and preta wont even have to move, all he needs to do is activate his absorption when he knows flames are coming and he'll know from amaterasu's preparation and the air shifting around Itachi(Nagato knew), Totsuka can be repelled by deva and then he can use his grav abilities to hold the sword in one place to prevent Itachi from using it or even dodged since no spectacular speed has been attached to it(its a variant of the kusanagi) WE ARE PAIN, WE ARE GOD!!!

Only Deva path is the epicenter, so everything other than him would be affected.

And since Deva is the most troublesome one, Itachi would definatly get rid of him first. By just spamming punches, and Deva path has to be stationed when using Chibaku Tensei, meaning he has to stay still, and focus. And then he would easily become an easy target for Itachi to crush, or slice. Or he can just Amaterasu Pain, while he's trying to use Chibaku Tensei.

How is he going to get near deva, the animal paths animals will be attacking him while deva is doing CT and he does not have to stationary, look at Naruto vs Pain, Pain was moving almost the entire time. Nagato was stationary though. Anyways A CT wud crush itachi sorry but his chances are less.

genjutsu tech would immobilize/stop deva and no deva no chibaku tensei or shinra tensei. and the others can be take care of via amaterasu(multiple opponents at once) and taijutsu would be enough for preta or he can get sealed. if deva is done itachi has half his work done since the other paths are weak in comparison and can be done with amaterasu and taijutsu for preta, srry but itachi has better chances due to his use of his of techs and intelligence/tactics. But nothing is set in stone and i do acknowledge that pain has his chances in this fight there are too many x-factors that don't really make this fight conclusive.
