How did Kakashi obtained his MS ?!

Regardless of that, you're right. In the manga, Itachi did say that killing the person closest to the user will awaken the MS. I should have posted why i said "witness" but in a way, we've seen 2 ways of obtaining the MS.

That could have just been a test from Itachi to see what a man Sasuke is/have become.

Madara never said that you need to kill your closest friend to activate MS. Don't you think it would be weird if both Uchiha brothers killed their best friends - uchihas?

I think that Itachi didn't kill Shisui. It was either Danzou or Tobi.

@Nikkou Arashi: Kakashi can copy techniques that are not too complex (he couldn't copy rasengan for example he had to learn it, as well as raikiri, it is not copyable it has to be learned thus why Sasuke spent soo much time learning it. Techniques that uses seal are his favorite to copy.

And if he had copied Itachi's MS then he would have either tsukoyomi or Amateresu which he never used maybe he has them both? he never showed it though. But then again if a three tamoe sharingan could copy MS then a whole lot more uchihas would have had MS it was already said in this thread but I won't hold it against you like you said... it has become a long thread

Kakashi obtained MS at that very moment when he and Naruto were chasing after Deidara. There was no mystery with it at all. If you notice, the chapter itself is in fact titled: Kakashi Enlightened!-Aesthetics of an Instant!. Meaning, he acquired something during that part. From the title alone, the author himself declared he acquired it an instant.

And him saying he could not control it yet, is because it was his first time to use it. He said that after he missed in his first try.

Reading the thread "Who is Shisui and why is his eye so good??" Someone (sorry too lazy to go back in the thread to give credit to the right person) wondered how did Kakashi got his Mangekyou Sharingan.... the funny thing is no one seemed to care about it!!!

So Did he somehow awakened it by studying his eye and jutsus? Reading Jiraiya's books ? or ..... (suspense) Did he killed his BFFF ?! Which points to another mystery!!! Who is Kakashi's BFFF ?!

Kakashi already suffered incredible losses after attaining the sharingan.

he had to watch obito die plus rin some how died after obito's dieing words to kakashi ere "protect RIN." I'm sure the dumb B***h got caught again and Kakashi tried to save her but this time she was a gonner.
Kakashi will place himself responsible for all of this (He kinda is) putting him through the feelings of loss a MS wielder has to experience.

My theory is maybe da most simple u will ever hear (i'm ready to be bashed) but u have to look at what kakashi (and da sharingan) is known for copying people...so he copied it from itachi, witch is y it looks a lot like itachi's...now to go into it deeper...he did not get it until after he battled itachi...now da same I am going to apply to sasuke he copied it too but being dat itachi implanted his power into him changed da look of sasuke's ms...and it being da black flame tech makes sasuke ms more black den red and more control over da black flame tech ...and kakashi copied it in another dimension (tsukiomi spelling ) gave it da dimensional power

You were trying to say that the MS can be copied, that's why. Both Kakashi and Sasuke did not copy the MS. They obtained them.

Kakashi may have simply found another way to channel his chakra in order to activate it.
2. Being that he's not a real Uchiha, his MS is underdeveloped, and is simply just a variant of a full bloodline MS. That's why the affects are different; although he doesn't lose his eyesight, it still puts a strain on the body, to the point that if overused would simply kill him (as seen in the battle vs Pain).

Well let me try to clear it up...sasuke copied rock lee move with out trying just by looking at it with it activated..so a-pon looking at ms unlocks ms ...but like a door u can unlock it but it don't open until u open it...

U see I think it copies all tech but like when sasuke used his sharingan against rock lee he couldn't keep up because his body was not able so u have to train ur body da same for da ms....unlocking da sharingan u have to be in trouble...to unlock ms u have to kill da closest to u.....to get ems u take da ms of a sibling....would dees be da only way no can't be because of kakashi

Make sense, and it is plausible, BUT considering how the events turned out to be I think Itachi actually killed Shisui despite their friendship to prevent the coup d'etat. But why not Shisui's death has yet to be revealed.

You are correct about these events that have taken place but we have to consider that the only reason Shisui died was because of his eyes so Danzou (coup d'etat was just a Danzou plan and set up) could take them which Itachi wouldn't allow if he knew about it, also Tobi was after them too and may have gotten one since he controlled the 4th Mizu, I mean if his sharingan could do that without taking shisui why go after it? If anything Itachi may have a hand in Shisui's death without knowing what would be gained by Danzou but his murderer was someone else.

I'm pretty sure we will see a big flash back covering a lot of points we missed at least hopefully or Kishi is a fail for not covering it all

Sharingan is a blood limit for the Uchiha clan. and you cannot get MS without getting Sharingan so MS IS ALSO A BLOOD LIMIT. but its possible for someone to aquire a sharingan eye through transplanting(Danzo, Kakashi). its possible for that transplanted sharingan to be formed into a MS (Kakashi) but MS IS STILL BLOOD LIMIT. If it is not than that means its a regular justsu that anybody outside of the Uchiha clan or anyone who doesnt have a transplanted sharingan can get. saying MS is not a blood limit makes it possible for Naruto or Neji to get MS without a regular sharingan or transplant.
