That is true though, it's like they are locking up. Their two first games in the group stage were outstanding. Still though, Modric has played well in each and every game so far so can't take that away from him, but yeah I agree. They now remind me of Portugal from Euro 2016, lol, maybe they'll even be able to go all the way...Tbh Croatia is getting worse with each game. They're nowhere near their group stage level. The coach made some bad calls with some tactical changes, and apparently players are getting exhaused from playing 2 consecutive 120 minutes.
Performance wise, Belgium is perhaps the team that has had the least curve (the Japan game was really the only hiccup before they turned it around), while France and Croatia comes in second (Croatia with great performance in the Group Stage, and France with great performance in the knockout stages). And then you have England, who has yet to really impress but at the same time has seemed to have decent controll at the back for most parts. Of the remaining four, I think they are the underdog right now but only slightly behind Croatia, and therefore that game is completely open for sure...
