About the water, Oven, Hand thing we have definitely seen a similar feat from Aokiji when he put his hand into the water and froze a major part of the ocean when he first appeared. Luffy also was shown throwing his hand into the water and using some of his strongest attacks. The answer is that although the sea water in that quantity weakens them a bit, these guys have strength so unreal that it does not mattter to them they just go ahead and do their attack without much noticeable effect to them.

Well I liked the chapter but it was 4 for me. Frankly I loved Oda taking a side charachter and giving him value but we are at that point in the story where we are so much into luffy's story that anything that diverges from it is less interesting.

I don't really get why BM's image is being questioned. The context and conversation alone are enough to make it 99% certain that that is BM. That she looks different from her current self and when she was a child, is not unusual in the OPverse and in particular in regards to character's sizes Oda has a history of messing around with them. Not to mention Pound himself is already quite a big guy.

So on one panel you see the heated glaive inches away from Pound's neck, in another panel there are sound effects of a slash and a thud, and in the next panel there is blood on the glaive. What makes you even think that Pound is saved.

So on one panel you see the heated glaive inches away from Pound's neck, in another panel there are sound effects of a slash and a thud, and in the next panel there is blood on the glaive. What makes you even think that Pound is saved.

Even so, it was clear that Bege was no match for the army on the land and the armada chasing him, if Bonney would be there she would get killed with her crew.

I have to go re look after Macho's post but I think people are saying the blade with blood doesn't look like a glaive blade but a sword blade. Maybe it was Smoothie? BM did kind of look like her then? She hasn't done much until now and has a sword? I think it was the glaive but you never know Pell did survive a nuke. It's definitely not Smoothie though I just double checked.

I don't know if Bege is over Bonnie or the other way around the certainty is that Big Mom's army is over any supernova in my book. Bege was in trouble until he deployed his tank tactics. If she would stop there she would be stuck on an island surrounded by a fleet. And everyone who stops running from Big Mom gets killed or caught.

Pretty sure she doesn't have a crew left. It was already noted pre-time skip that she had fallen at the hands of BB. It's unclear what exactly happened during those two years, but the few times she was shown she appeared to be alone and tried to keep a low profile.

Anyhow the theory that Bonney is one of BM's daughters had some momentum before this arc, but at this point it doesn't really have anything going for it anymore due to what we learned during the arc.

It would make sense from a thematic stand point to have another super Nova show up before the arcs over. Last arc we had three law Luffy and Zoro the time we saw kiado we had Hawkins apoo and kid now we have Luffy and bege but that's it so if bonney showed up it would make sense but I personally would prefer ugroge.

That blade obviously was Oven's, despite the fact that it looks slightly different, Oda is still human. And what would be the chances if someone came to the rescue with a nearly identical blade half a second before the execution ?

You have no clue about the how his powers work when applied to his blade, your theory of cutting someone in half and ending up with a clean blade is pure speculation not to mention bizarre. You can't cut someone that clean.

Pound has no relevance to the story anymore, he played his part, he assaulted a BM family member and was left behind alone on an island in her territory, that is death. All this reaching is so annoying because we will never see the end of it. Because 200 chapters from now there will still be some guy who says "but we never seen the body, so Pound might still be alive". Even though the blade was on his neck and it ended with a bloodied blade, I don't know what more Oda can do besides showing his head rolling down the street.

It was not about Pound, he was the package and Oda made it look pretty by giving it some feeling to it. It was about how the cake got past Oven and how they would reunite and leave the armada behind. So the cake is now on it's way to Big Mom on Bege's ship. That is the progression.
